"Yeah," everyone around suddenly became excited, "almost got fooled by you, kid, but luckily the big boss has a way."

The Elementalist's face changed dramatically.

But just at this moment, Reed suddenly stepped forward, drew the Holy Sword from his back, and blocked in front of the Elementalist. But he was still half a step too slow; they heard a loud bang as an arrow pierced through the wall, hitting the target's heart directly.

The Big Cat People's face changed, turning and using his paw to press on the Elementalist's chest, but spots of white light had already emerged from the latter.

"It's Piercing Shot; there's a Ranger outside," he stood up and looked at the others, his hair and beard bristling, his voice solemn: "Everyone stay in the inn, don't move. There are still their people inside, Cuiye, you watch the others."

The Poet understood the gravity of the situation and reliably gestured to them that there's no problem.

They actually anticipated the opponent had another move, but did not expect the attack to come from outside rather than within the inn, a momentary oversight let the opponent succeed. After saying this, the Lion Paladin dashed out, leaping through the window, catching a glimpse of a shadow flashing deep in the Forest.

Fang Hong and Gita also happened to chase out from the direction of the front door.

"Mr. Reed, how's it going?"

"Got away," the Big Cat People pinched the Copper Ring on his whiskers, squinting in that direction, saying: "But I've remembered his scent, the Wind will tell us his whereabouts, that guy won't go far."

Just as he spoke, Fang Hong and Gita suddenly froze,

The three suddenly heard a subtle, almost indiscernible rumbling sound from afar. The sound was tiny, yet curiously distinct, this extreme contradiction gave a bizarre feeling.

Like an invisible ripple, it was passing through another dimension, penetrating this underground cavern. Among them, Miss Natural Historian was the most keen, couldn't help but cover her ears with both hands, her glasses clattered to the ground.

But Gita seemed oblivious, only frowning painfully. Fang Hong finally noticed her expression, grabbed her shoulder, and asked: "Gita, what's wrong?"

"Elemental Realm..." Gita murmured dazedly.

A buzzing sound pierced through eardrums, everyone felt like their ears were filled with water, causing auditory hallucinations.

Fang Hong felt the whole world seemingly flipped for a moment, and the next, the dazzling light sphere above the cavern flickered and suddenly extinguished. The surroundings plunged into darkness, and all those strange illusions abruptly vanished, returning to silence.

Momentarily, he heard chaotic sounds from behind the Hall of Trees, with noisy voices, sounds of breaking utensils, and argument.

Then Fang Hong felt a furry big paw grab him, knowing it's Big Cat People, his heart settled. The Lion Paladin's voice indeed came from the dark: "Ade, are you okay?"

"I'm fine, what about Gita?"

"I'm, I'm fine too, Brother Ade..."

"What on earth is happening?" Fang Hong then asked.

"I don't know, what's with the light," the Big Cat People asked in a muffled voice: "I remember even late at night, it shouldn't completely go out."

Fang Hong vaguely felt something might have happened, right now, in the darkness a red glow lit up. It was his Communication Crystal — Fang Hong hurriedly took out the crystal, wiped it gently, and inside Hilveld's voice came: "Ade, how are you over there?"

Hearing Miss Ship's Officer's gentle voice, Fang Hong felt his heart settle down, he took a breath to calm: "We're fine here, just the light suddenly went out, how about you?"

"We're alright," Hilveld's voice was steady, "just received a message, the scouts on the perimeter found the Crystal army, they are crossing the crevice outside the Valley."

"Crystal launched an attack?" Fang Hong frowned slightly. The Crystal's attack was earlier than anticipated, with the Hall of Trees attacked, the light of Heart of Chongshan now out, various unexpected events followed, giving him a sense of foreboding.

"Although it may not necessarily be a full assault, the possibility is high, now every team is urgently heading to Thorn Frontline for defense, they also know this wave of attack might be tough to endure, warnings have been sent," she paused, "Lord Captain, what about us?"

Everything collided together, right now the most important of course is to defend against Crystal's last wave of offense, or everything is for naught. But Fang Hong vaguely sensed his side's dealings aren't simple either.

He pondered briefly, making a decision: "You head to Thorn Frontline to join the others first."

"Alright," Hilveld replied, "Ade, take care."

"You too."

Fang Hong put back the crystal and asked the Big Cat People beside him: "Mr. Reed, can you still find that person?"

The latter nodded slightly,

"Follow me."

...

Alice didn't expect she would still be discovered.

Luckily, she was cautious enough, leaving Shadow Marks along the way, this maneuver saved her life, otherwise she wouldn't have noticed those two Nightingale and Ranger from Twilight Guild trailing her.

If it were solely the Ranger, it would be fine, she could rely on her Speed advantage to shake the opponent off, but that Nightingale from Twilight was too lethal for her, the opponent's Level was higher than hers, experience richer.
