Chapter 353: Catching a Turtle in a Jar

This micro-suction force was strong enough to make the climbing devices adhere tightly to the wall’s surface, greatly increasing the safety of their ascent.

The men used these climbing devices, constantly adjusting the contact surface to freely attach and detach. Before long, they reached an open window on the second floor.

As it was a high-security complex, there weren’t many security bars on the windows.

Once they reached the top, one of them quickly vaulted into the room.

He found it was some sort of data room, not a living space.

Worried about pinhole cameras, the men swept the room with a detection device. Finding nothing, they relaxed, stayed inside, and gently closed the window.

One of the masked men rushed to the door, about to turn the handle and charge to the basement to find their target. However, a man who appeared to be their leader stopped him.

The leader pointed to a lean, masked man beside him, then gestured toward the nearby computer.

The man sat down at the computer. He activated some unknown function, and a series of dialog boxes in a foreign language appeared. He clicked through them one by one, entering a flurry of commands.

After a moment, he entered a final command, and a message appeared on the screen: “All floor surveillance systems offline.”

The man flashed a V-sign, signaling to the others: ‘Done!’

They communicated only with their eyes. The leader then nodded at the man from before and gestured toward the door.

The man quickly opened the door, and the group slipped out. Whenever they encountered patrolling bodyguards or sentries, they took them down decisively.

The intruders were of a high caliber, their skills impressive. Nearly every takedown was a one-hit knockout.

Fortunately for the bodyguards, the intruders didn’t want to cause a major incident; otherwise, none of them would have survived.

They quickly made their way to the elevators and rode one down to the next floor.

The moment they arrived, they were met by several bodyguards swinging riot batons at them.

One of the intruders, a man built like an iron tower, casually blocked a blow with his arm. The riot baton bounced off, leaving his arm completely unscathed.

He followed up with an elbow strike, knocking his attacker unconscious.

Then, with a single kick, he sent another guard flying.

In just a few swift moves, he had taken down several men.

They quickly arrived at the cell where one of the Shuang’Er was being held.

The men saw the nameplate beside the door and exchanged glances.

“Is this the room?”

“According to the intel, yes.”

“Move in!”

They found the door was secured with a fingerprint lock. After a moment’s hesitation, they grabbed one of the unconscious bodyguards and pressed his index finger onto the scanner.

CLICK. The lock sprang open.

The men filed inside, only to find a figure with long, shoulder-length hair sitting on the bed with their back to them, seemingly in meditation.

They rushed forward. “Shuang’Er, where’s your sister?”

But as the figure turned their head, the long hair suddenly fell away, revealing it to be a wig. Underneath was a man with handsome, slicked-back short hair.

In the next instant, the man lashed out with both fists.

The two intruders closest to him were knocked unconscious in a flash.

Only then did the others realize that the person in the room was a man.

This person was none other than Chen Qingdi.

He was also the one who had deliberately leaked the intel.

From the moment they had scaled the wall and entered the villa, they had been moving within his grasp.

He had intentionally disabled a portion of the alarm system to ensure they could successfully reach his floor and find their way to him.

When the remaining intruders saw that the jig was up and tried to retreat, Chen Qingdi simply picked up a remote control and pressed a button.

A heavy steel door suddenly dropped from the ceiling with a loud SLAM, cutting off their escape.

Driven to desperation, the remaining men charged recklessly at Chen Qingdi.

Chen Qingdi had no intention of letting them get close. He threw a continuous barrage of punches, each one imbued with the power of the Flying Dragon Fist.

He struck them down from several meters away, knocking them to the ground without making physical contact.

Regardless of their skill level, anyone hit by a single punch had their meridians sealed, collapsing limply to the floor.

Once all the men were unconscious, Chen Qingdi pressed the remote again. A winch above retracted the heavy steel door.

He reactivated the alarm system and called for the other disciples on the floor. A moment later, several men armed with live ammunition entered.

Chen Qingdi waved his hand, ordering them to lock up the captives in separate spare rooms within the castle, ensuring they couldn’t contact one another.

The head of security, Chen Hai, asked, “Boss, what should we do with these bastards? Are you going to try and court them, too?”

Chen Qingdi landed a solid punch on the guy.

“Why are you so damn dense? Courting a bunch of grown men? What kind of person do you take me for? Get out of here with your stupid ideas.”

Chen Hai asked blankly, “Then what are you planning to do?”

Chen Qingdi snorted. “Do you think I don’t know how to pry their mouths open after all these years? The two Shuang’Er are delicate beauties, afraid of pain and exhaustion, but these guys aren’t, are they? If you can’t handle those two women, are you telling me you can’t handle these brutes either?!”

Chen Hai shook his head, thinking to himself.

‘Good looks really are justice. The ancients were right all along.’

“Please rest assured, Master. We always adhere to your teachings: persuade with virtue. We will give our captured ‘brothers’ some very… gentle ‘persuasion.’ We’ll be sure to make them feel right at home!”

Though the words were calm and elegant, Chen Qingdi heard the promise of an Asura’s battlefield behind them.

The interrogation, of course, was a matter for his men to handle.

Chen Qingdi stretched lazily.

‘What a hassle. I haven’t seen my two little beauties in seven or eight days. Maybe I’ll go have another ‘heart-to-heart’ with them?’

He took the elevator down to the second basement level, where the two sisters were being held in separate rooms.

The rooms were fully stocked with all of life’s necessities, with one exception: there was nothing that could be used to record information.

This included clocks, calendars, books, cell phones, and so on.

As soon as he opened the door to one of the rooms, he saw a girl curled up tightly in the corner.

“Demons! Don’t come near me!”

Chen Qingdi’s brow furrowed, and he shot an accusatory glare at the guard beside him.

“Who told you to mistreat these girls?”

The guard looked extremely aggrieved. “You’ve got it wrong, Boss! We followed your orders to the letter. We haven’t even set foot in this room. All their food and supplies are sent through a special hatch. We even get cursed out by them from time to time! If anyone’s being mistreated, it’s me!”

Chen Qingdi sighed. “Alright, stop complaining. I’m going in to have a look.”

He walked over to the corner. It was Gu Shuang’Er. Her hair was a mess and her face was smudged with dirt; she looked completely different from before.
