Su Yuxin chuckled, "Dad wouldn’t mind at all. He’s so filial. Every time I say I take after Grandpa, he’s delighted and reminds me to be filial to Grandpa and Grandma, not to contradict them."

Taoming Ye took the tea that Hong Ye brought over and placed it in front of Su Yuxin, saying with a smile, "Even if your body’s not cold, have a cup of hot tea. If you really do get cold, everyone will be heartbroken."

Su Yuxin picked up the hot tea and said with a smile, "Not many people feel sorry for me. Like Aunt; she only has eyes for you, her precious husband, and wouldn’t feel sorry for me. She’s too busy worrying about you to have time for me."

"You cheeky! Makes me want to pinch your mouth!" Su Xing laughed, pulling her niece into a hug. "Even though I dote on your uncle, I still have time to care for you. Don’t really get sick; quickly have a sip to warm yourself."

"Alright." Su Yuxin replied with a laugh before taking a sip of the hot tea.

Taoming Ye glanced towards the door, then asked, "Isn’t Sizhi coming?"

Su Yuxin replied, "Why would he come? It’s just me here. Uncle, don’t worry, he’s not coming."

Taoming Ye laughed softly, "Every time I see you, he’s always with you. I thought you’d be together again today."

Su Yuxin laughed, "You always catch us together, that’s why you think that. I don’t actually spend all my time with him."

Su Xing chuckled, "You might fool your uncle, but you can’t fool me. I heard from your Grandma and mom that you’re always with Sizhi. You grew up together, and in everyone’s eyes, you and Sizhi are already a pair."

Su Yuxin scoffed, baffled, "Even if I am always with him, it doesn’t mean we’re a couple. I just don’t get you all."

Su Xing laughed, "You’re just being stubborn. If Sizhi wants to marry you, would you refuse?"

Truth be told, although Meng Sizhi and her grew up together and are always around each other, she doesn’t have any romantic feelings for him. However, Meng Sizhi is quite nice, he looks after her and puts up with her. Considering everyone wishes for her to be with Meng Sizhi, she wouldn’t be against marrying him.
