The first one read:

He had hoped to see resumes detailing animal breeding or rescue experience, or at least a genuine passion for animal care.

Ning Fei completely conceded defeat.

Just then, his phone rang.

It was a familiar contact: Jiang Xue.

"You want to manage the Deer Sanctuary? Really?" Hearing her job inquiry, Ning Fei felt an immediate wave of relief.

"Yes, Temple Master. I really like the environment there, and I absolutely adore fawns," Jiang Xue said softly over the phone.

"It's not a problem, Temple Master. I just spoke to my brother about it, and he fully agrees. Besides, working at Wenyan Deer Enclosure isn't like being an employee. The environment is so wonderful."

"Alright, we'll see. The enclosure still needs some time before it's finished. I'll let you know when it is ready."

"Okay."

"By the way, is your health alright now? I chatted with Jiang Feng a while back, and he mentioned you were mostly recovered."
