Chapter 54

"To think that foolish creatures like yourselves still exist, daring to appear before me, Terazax. You deserve only one thing."

His gaze swept over them before he delivered his final word.

"Death."

The Red Seed Primordial True God snorted, intending to mock Terazax’s arrogance or challenge the threat he had just made. However, before a single word could escape his mouth, something inside him was suddenly decimated, then destroyed in an instant.

His eyes widened in pure horror, and he opened his mouth to speak, but what escaped was a pained scream that tore through space and shook the void. His body trembled violently as his mind, soul, and primordial seed... everything that constituted his existence, began to burn to ashes.

There was no resistance, no opportunity to retaliate, and no chance to escape. In the span of a single instant, the True God who had confidently stepped forward, believing himself capable of overcoming the spatial barrier and claiming the treasure, was reduced to nothing.

He was dead.

Just like that.

All it had taken was a single word from Terazax.

The expressions of the other True Gods who had advanced changed instantly, their confidence vanishing as they witnessed what had happened. They wanted to turn around and flee as far away as possible, finally realizing that the being standing before them wasn’t someone they could provoke and simply walk away from.

Unfortunately, before they could do anything, Terazax spoke again.

"Die."

And so, they obeyed.

Their lives were extinguished one after another, their bodies, minds, souls, and primordial seeds destroyed as though they had never existed in the first place. There was no struggle or resistance; they simply died.

Terazax would surely have gone on a rampage, eradicating all the other True Gods and countless powerful beings who were still far away from him, if Petra hadn’t stepped forward to engage him in an existential-level battle.

The moment Petra moved, the surrounding reality seemed to distort, and the two of them vanished from existence.

They had entered a realm of battle that existed beyond ordinary reality, a place that could neither be properly perceived nor understood by those watching from the outside. Whether it was a separate reality or an illusion created by their overwhelming power, none of the observers could tell.

All they knew was that the two beings had disappeared.

Rikan and the powerful frost being immediately joined the battle, and the moment they entered the fray, the universe shook once more beneath the terrifying clashes of their powers.

For a while, the group continued fighting like that, with nothing seemingly happening in real reality. Their battle unfolded somewhere beyond the perception of ordinary existence, hidden from the countless beings who had gathered to witness the disturbance.

However, as the clash intensified, the situation gradually changed.

Terazax soon realized that, despite Petra having only a fragment of his original power remaining, he was still a terrifying enemy. He couldn’t easily subdue him, and Petra’s incomplete power didn’t mean he had become weak. Even with only a fragment of his strength left, he could still contend with Terazax in a battle that threatened the very foundations of existence.

Terazax wasn’t someone who would continue holding back after realizing that his opponent wasn’t as easy to deal with as he had initially believed.

He decided to fight seriously.

Once that happened, Petra and the other two were forced to step up their game as well. Their auras surged, and their attacks grew more terrifying as the battle escalated to a level that even the hidden reality they were fighting within could no longer fully contain.

The fake reality began trembling beneath the force of their clashes.

Then, the first remnants of their battle spilled into real reality.

The consequences were immediate.

Millions of True Gods and other powerhouses were still recovering from the shock of what they had witnessed earlier. They had watched more than a thousand True Gods approach those unknown beings, only to be erased with terrifying ease.

The red-haired being had merely said, "Die."

And they had died.

Such a sight had left the surviving powerhouses completely stunned. Many of them had existed for countless ages, reaching heights that ordinary beings could never dream of attaining. They had witnessed the rise and fall of civilizations, watched entire realms crumble, and encountered countless powerful beings throughout their long existences.

Yet none of those experiences had prepared them for what they had just witnessed.

For the first time in what seemed like forever, the True Gods felt something they had almost forgotten: deep, primal terror.

They were pulled out of their shock when the scent of death and doom suddenly reached them.

A wave of aura, so powerful and destructive that it seemed capable of erasing everything in its path, rushed forward from somewhere unknown. It was the residual aura of the battle taking place between the red-haired being and the other three.

Even though it was only the residue of their clash, its power was terrifying enough to send countless beings into despair.

The surrounding powerhouses immediately rushed away, desperate to escape the approaching wave. They didn’t care about the treasure anymore, nor did they care about the Origin.

At that moment, survival was all that mattered.

But even with their incredible speed and all the methods at their disposal, methods that could break the logic governing ordinary existence, they weren’t fast enough.

The ripple slammed into the first group of True Gods, snuffing out their lives in an instant. Their very beings were erased, as though they had never existed to begin with.

There was no time to scream or fight back. One moment, they were fleeing for their lives; the next, they were gone.

The other True Gods broke out in cold sweat as they cursed under their breaths.

They were in deep danger, weren’t they?

They had come here seeking a treasure, believing their strength would be enough to protect them from whatever dangers they might encounter. Now, they were desperately running away, praying that they wouldn’t die.

They rushed forward with everything they had, using every means available to increase their speed. Some tore through space, while others unleashed their most powerful movement techniques, desperate to put as much distance as possible between themselves and the terrifying ripple of destruction.

Vast distances were covered in the blink of an eye as space folded and unfolded, with the gods crossing entire stretches of galaxies and using every means at their disposal to escape.

But the aura continued to spread, and death continued to approach.

Among the fleeing group was the Primal Dragon, the very being who had left his realm, a place filled with countless treasures, to come and obtain the treasure that had appeared here.

He had originally been filled with anticipation. After all, whatever could attract so many powerful beings and cause such a disturbance was bound to be extraordinary.

But now, he didn’t want any treasure anymore.

Right now, he only wanted to survive.

The feeling of approaching death grew stronger with every passing moment. The dying cries of beings who should never have been able to die so easily rang out over and over again, echoing through the surrounding space and reaching his ears.

His scales, which constantly changed colors, were now slick with torrents of sweat, and his heart pounded with terror.

How the hell was this happening?!

That was only the ripple of those beings’ attacks!

Only the residual force of their clashes!

And yet, True Gods were being wiped out one after another. Gods were being killed and erased as though they were nothing.

It was almost...

It was almost as if they were all ants who had dared to interfere in the clash of immortals.
