Origin Summoner: All My Summons Are Broken
Chapter 53: Death Of A True God
Chapter 53
Petra raised an eyebrow at Terazax’s blunt command.
Had the ages really turned him into some kind of fool? What did he mean by telling them to hand over the Origin just like that? Did he honestly believe that something as precious and mysterious as the Origin could be surrendered simply because he had demanded it?
"My patience is limited, Petra. Hand it over, and I will make your destruction imminent... but quick."
Petra shook his head and sighed, a hint of disappointment crossing his face. He looked at Terazax as though he were someone who had once possessed a shred of intelligence but had gradually lost it over the endless passage of time.
"You have really become more of a fool over the ages, haven’t you, Terazax? If you think you can get the Origin from me, then just try your best to take it."
He spoke calmly, without the slightest hesitation.
Terazax’s gaze darkened, and in the next instant, the aura surrounding him became so frighteningly cold that even death itself would have been terrified to stand in his presence. Space trembled beneath the pressure, and the very atmosphere seemed to freeze as a powerful sense of destruction spread outward from his body.
Yet Petra’s gaze didn’t so much as flicker.
The other two, however, grew serious as they felt something they had almost forgotten how to experience.
Fear.
It wasn’t ordinary fear or the apprehension that came from facing a powerful opponent. This was something far more primitive, a warning rising from the deepest part of their existence and screaming that their lives were in genuine danger.
For beings who had stood at the pinnacle of power for countless ages, such a feeling was almost foreign. Yet, in Terazax’s presence, they felt as though their very existence could be extinguished at any moment.
Still, neither of them backed down.
If Terazax managed to get his hands on the Origin, it would mark the end of the peace the universe had enjoyed over the ages. The era that followed would bring endless deaths, chaos, suffering, and countless other calamities that would spread across the universe.
They couldn’t allow that to happen.
Even if the enemy standing before them was someone they could barely contend with, they would still fight.
Rikan was the first to release his aura, unleashing a terrifying red radiance that resembled the combined brilliance of countless stars. The moment it erupted from his body, the surrounding space groaned beneath its pressure, as though the very fabric of reality were struggling to endure such overwhelming power.
At the same time, the second being’s star-made clothing began to tremble.
The fabric had been keeping the frost within his body at bay, preventing the cold emanating from him from spreading uncontrollably into the surrounding universe. However, as his aura surged, even that extraordinary clothing could no longer withstand the pressure.
Crack!
The star-made garment shattered, sending fragments scattering through the surrounding space. They froze in the blink of an eye before disintegrating into nothingness.
Beneath the broken clothing was pale blue skin covering a muscular body with a sharp, imposing physique. His appearance made him even more intimidating as he stood tall, radiating a cold that began to freeze the space around him.
But that was only the beginning.
The frozen space continued freezing over itself, layer upon layer of absolute cold spreading through reality. It was as though the very concept of freezing had been pushed beyond its limits, creating a phenomenon that ordinary beings could never hope to comprehend.
This was Absolute Frost.
Terazax looked at the three beings who had decided to stand against him before scoffing.
"You should all know that you are not enough. You can’t stop me, so stop dreaming about doing just that."
As he spoke, the red radiance surrounding him rose violently, blanketing the space around them. It was no longer merely an aura but a force that seemed capable of overwhelming everything in its path, threatening to burn through the very foundations of reality.
The fear in Rikan’s heart and that of the blue-skinned primordial being grew even stronger. Their instincts screamed at them to retreat, warning them that remaining here could cost them their lives.
Yet Petra’s gaze remained unchanged.
He slowly raised his hand, and following that simple movement, two pairs of blades formed in his grasp. Their surfaces appeared to be crafted from a rainbow-like material, shimmering with countless colors that shifted and flowed across the blades as though they contained an entire spectrum of mysterious power.
Petra took a step forward, allowing his aura to surge as a faint smile appeared on his face.
"I might only have a fragment of my power left, but if you think you can easily deal with me because of that, then you are truly the biggest joke, Terazax."
Terazax’s magma-like eyes burned with fury. He was just about to attack when he suddenly paused, turning his gaze toward another direction as his expression darkened further.
"How dare those pests show up? Are they tired of living?"
Across the surrounding region, powerhouses who stood beyond the realm of ordinary beings began appearing one after another. Their figures emerged from different directions, each carrying an aura powerful enough to dominate entire realms. Some arrived through distorted space, while others appeared with movements that ordinary beings could never perceive.
They had all sensed the disturbance.
The Origin’s aura, the shredded void, and the chaotic void energy ravaging the region had attracted their attention, drawing them toward this place like countless moths drawn to a flame.
They wanted to move forward, discover the source of the disturbance, and lay their hands on the treasure responsible for it.
However, after sensing the torn-apart void and the chaotic void energy raging through the area, none of them dared to act rashly. They could tell that something extraordinary was happening ahead, something dangerous enough that even they needed to exercise caution.
More and more powerhouses continued to arrive.
One group appeared, followed by another and then another, until the number of beings gathered in the surrounding region had grown to millions, perhaps even more.
Their gazes locked onto the distant figures. None of them knew who the four beings were, but they could tell from the subtle auras reaching them that those figures were at least on the same level as themselves.
That realization alone was enough to make many of them hesitate.
After all, even among beings who had reached their level, there were still differences in strength. If four unknown figures could produce such a disturbance, then whatever was happening ahead was clearly far beyond an ordinary confrontation.
Suddenly, a figure with short red hair appeared.
The moment he arrived, many of the surrounding beings quickly moved aside to make room for him. His arrival carried the impression of a mighty god descending from the heavens into the realm of mortals.
The red-haired being paid no attention to those around him. His gaze immediately locked onto the shredded void in the distance, and he frowned slightly.
"Petty trick..."
He muttered the words dismissively.
Those four beings were trying to get their hands on the treasure, and because of that, they had deliberately shut everyone else out of the situation.
Did they really think such a trick would work?
Too bad.
He, the prince of the Red Primordial Race, was here.
On top of that, he was a True God.
To quote him, there was no way something like this could stop him.
The red-haired being stretched out his hand and began using his overwhelming Red Primordial Flame, a flame capable of burning all things, to melt the space before him.
It was a crazy endeavor.
Most beings wouldn’t even dare to attempt something like that, fearing they would die a horrible death in the process. After all, space in a region like this wasn’t something that could be casually manipulated, especially when it had already been torn apart by the clash of beings whose power stood at the highest levels of existence.
But the red-haired being was different.
As a member of the Nine Primordial Seeds, he possessed abilities that allowed him to accomplish truly astonishing feats.
The space before him began melting beneath the overwhelming heat of his primordial flame. Slowly, the distorted space broke down before beginning to reform, and after a while, the process was finally completed.
The Red Seed Primordial flickered and disappeared, only to reappear a few miles away from Terazax.
A look of disgust spread across his face as he stared at the being before him.
"Relying on such underhanded methods... you are truly pathetic." ℯℯ𝘭.
Several other True Gods advanced as well, their gazes sharp as they searched the surrounding region for the treasure. Their senses spread far and wide, probing the surrounding space as they attempted to locate the source of the disturbance.
However, Terazax’s expression remained cold. His teeth gritted slightly before he released a faint sigh.
"To think that foolish creatures like yourselves still exist... daring to appear before me, Terazax. You deserve only one thing."
His gaze swept over them before he delivered his final word.
"Death."
The Red Seed Primordial True God snorted.
He wanted to say something in response, perhaps to mock Terazax’s arrogance or challenge the threat he had just made. However, before a single word could escape his mouth, something inside him was suddenly decimated.
Then it was destroyed in an instant.
His eyes widened in pure horror as he opened his mouth to speak, but what escaped from it was a pained scream that tore through space and shook the void.
His body trembled violently as his mind, soul, and primordial seed... everything that constituted his existence began burning to ashes.
There was no resistance, no opportunity to retaliate, and no chance to escape.
In the span of a single instant, the True God who had confidently stepped forward, believing himself capable of overcoming the spatial barrier and claiming the treasure, was reduced to nothing.
He was dead.
Just like that.
