Ayra blinked at the system before her. "Oh, is that so...?" She nodded, figuring it wasn’t something overly difficult to achieve.

"But what if their cooking is terrible...? Does that also count?"

[Anything counts as long as they do it themselves and voluntarily, putting their whole hearts into it.]

Ayra slowly nodded. Then she thought of a potential problem.

"What if one of them doesn’t want to cook? I mean, not all of them are good cooks..." she explained.

[Then the task will fail, and Host won’t get improved energy, nor will Host return to her human form for now.]

"..."

"Are you being for real now...?"

[Yes. The task involves getting all five of them to be actively involved in it. Only then can Host complete the task and receive the reward.]

Ayra sighed and shook her head. "Okay then... I’ll work on that. Now shoo, off you go to your hiding place."

As she said that, the system puffed away into blue dust after saying,

[Good luck, Host. Cheering for your recovery.]

[And the System voluntarily hands Host some energy so she can hold up.]

Ayra smiled as she watched the system disappear. She guessed this system had improved and wasn’t as evil as it used to be.

The system had actually given her some energy to sustain her until then. Ayra now felt somewhat stronger than before and much fresher.

"Not bad." She smiled while checking herself.

Now that the system was gone, she would have to find a way to get all her mates to voluntarily do it for her without telling them directly.

And she also had to make sure they were all involved!

Commander Lynn was the first to wake up, followed by Nyx after they heard some talking. Looking up, they saw Ayra awake and sitting on the bed in her beast form.

Nyx rubbed a hand over his eyes as he asked, "Beast form again? What are you doing in that? Or do you enjoy it so much?"

"How are you feeling?" Commander Lynn asked as he came to sit beside the fox, running a hand through her fur. He really did enjoy caressing the pretty fox.

Ayra shook her body gently. "Fine..."

Soon, her other mates arrived. The three tribe lords made their way into the room and found her still in her beast form.

"In beast form? Have you finally recovered, or are you having fun?" Lord Vale inquired as they came in.

They had brought a basket of fruits for her from their journey, and Lord Vale handed it to Ayra.

"Have these fruits," Lord Vale said. "They’re rich and medicinal. We went to a faraway tribe and asked them for them."

Lord Ash added, "They’re known to help one recover, so you should have them."

Ayra stared at the rich-looking fruits with a smile.

"Thanks. But don’t go around asking those rude tribes for things. I’m sure they don’t like us... They’ll just want to humiliate you. I don’t want that."

"Anything for you." Lord Vale smiled. "So don’t worry about it and enjoy them. We’ll get more if they work well for you."

"And we’ll keep looking for more if they don’t," Lord Ash added with a firm nod.

Ayra sighed, feeling bad. They were so good to her, working extremely hard to take care of her. She guessed she needed to recover quickly so she could repay them all.

"Thanks a lot." She stared at the fruits for a moment before adding, "Oh well... I wish I had the strength to make my way to the kitchen."

Her mates hesitated before looking at her.

"And why is that? Do you want to make something?" Commander Lynn asked.

Ayra gently nodded. "Yes. I wish to, but I don’t have the strength to get it done..."

"Tell me the details of what you wish to prepare." Lord Vale instantly stepped forward without hesitation. "I’ll make it for you, so don’t worry at all. Just tell me."

"..."

Ayra smiled as she stared at Lord Vale. She guessed that wouldn’t be too hard, then. Now she only had to move on to the second phase of her plan.

"Okay, that’s so sweet of you." Ayra smiled warmly. "I’m so happy that you’re so considerate. That’s why I love you so much."

As soon as she said that, everyone turned and stared at Lord Vale, who was smiling like a fool.

And immediately, jealousy stepped in.

Just as Ayra had wanted.

"I’ll also go and prepare it," Lord Ash stated firmly. "Anything for you."

"I think I can make it too. So I’ll certainly go and make it for you however you want. Just give me your list and instructions, and I’ll get it done."

Commander Lynn turned to Ayra with a smile. "I’ll do anything so you don’t have to work hard."

"..."

Ayra smiled.

She guessed it had worked even more easily than she thought.

"Oh, is that so...? You all would help make the meal for me? But... wouldn’t I be disturbing you?"

She added innocently, "Cooking isn’t your strength... So that would mean stressing you all. You can leave it, and I’ll get someone else to do it."

But they figured Ayra would praise whoever did it. Besides, they wanted to help her as much as possible, so they instantly reassured her.

"Don’t worry at all. I can do anything to help. This isn’t much at all." Lord Ash smiled. "Besides, I have some knowledge of cooking too."

"Me too. So I can help with preparing whatever you want. Just tell me," Lord Vale happily expressed.

"Me too... I’ll help as much as I can," Commander Lynn nodded.

"Just say it," Lord Zark stated firmly.

Ayra smiled.

She had gotten through the second phase successfully.

And just as she predicted, Nyx was the problem.

Nyx stood there with both arms folded, without volunteering at all.

He was terrible at cooking, so naturally, he wouldn’t want to jump in. Especially since they weren’t officially mates.

But Ayra needed him, or else she wouldn’t succeed in this task.

And so, she had no choice but to bring the third phase into this.
