Chapter 152: 152: Incoming News!

THE SILVERMOON TRIBE.

On that day, the bustling tribe of Silvermoon was busy with people going about their different activities of the day.

The beast women worked domestically in their homes with the kids running around the tribe. Some men returned from their hunts while some trained with their weapons.

At the headquarters, the Tiger tribe leader and his host, Kul, had hosted a drinking ceremony for the downfall of the Netherwild tribe.

They sat around outside on the bright day, sitting down on logs around the burning fire while eating meat and drinking wine.

They had invited elders of the land and some other important people. The messengers and then Miya and her four beast husbands.

They all sat around, laughing, chatting and drinking while enjoying themselves.

"Now that the tribe has probably gone extinct, what next?" One of the goat elders asked. "I mean, I kind of miss them. They were the ones who worked for us and made our workload less. We always ran to them for food and all, now that they’re probably all reduced, what now?"

Another elder laughed as he said, "True indeed. I agree with this. Too bad they were too stubborn to know the good thing we were doing for them.. ungrateful bastards always get that ending."

They laughed while nodding.

"It’s truly their fault. They lost what they should have cherished. And now they’ve probably lost themselves too," Miya’s dog beast husband said with a smile.

The tribe leader cleared his throat as he said, "We shouldn’t worry too much about that. We’ll find other people to do our hard work after all. Nothing much. Those jinxed wild beastmen were bound to get eliminated sooner or later."

"They should have listened when they were told so.. now look at them," Kul, the tribe leader’s son, said with a smile. "So instead of worrying, we should now work towards finding other alternatives."

"Yes yes indeed," an elder said as they clicked their wines. "To the downfall of the Netherwild and great success to the Silvermoon!"

The tribe leader smiled as he stared at Miya. "And how is our top elite female doing?"

"I’m doing fine."

"How’s the journey across tribes to gather herb energy and all?" He asked.

"All going well," Miya smiled gently like an angel.

Everyone shook their heads with a smile. "Such an angel indeed. Yesterday, three tribes came singing your praises for helping their people. More men are even asking to get married to you! Great warriors and tribe chiefs are in line already!"

Everyone laughed.

"Too bad you’ve already settled," One of the elders smiled as they praised her further. "Truly the pride of our tribe. Not that useless F-rank sister of hers that brings only shame."

They shook their heads at the mention of the name. "It’s a good thing she’s gone for sure. Wouldn’t want to hear about that jinx at all! Utterly useless!"

They shook their heads as they stared at Miya again. "So how’s the birth coming up? The whole tribe is anticipating the day you shower us with some great cubs!"

Miya smiled with her husbands. Miya said, "Don’t worry, it’ll be soon! We need to take our time to make perfect cubs that are as perfect as us."

Everyone laughed while nodding.

"Smart. Really smart."

"We can’t wait for that to happen indeed."

While they smiled in anticipation of Miya’s future cubs, someone had rushed into the scene.

A zebra beastman panted while he rushed into the scene and went down on his knees. His face was filled with panic like one who had just seen a ghost or something.

Immediately, everyone sitting in the meeting turned to his direction, confused as they stared at him panting on his knees while staring up at them.

"What’s wrong?" The tribe leader questioned while staring down at the zebra.

"What’s with the look and all? Did you see a ghost or something? Why do you look like that?" They questioned, waiting for the shocked zebra to speak up.

And after a while, the zebra finally spoke.

"I... The... I," he shuddered first before he finally said, "The wild beastmen are still alive! And they’re living happily in their tribes!"

As he announced this, everyone’s face went pale in shock.

"What do you mean by that? What rubbish are you even talking about? We killed them off and made sure of that, so how is it possible?" Kul demanded as he got up to his feet.

The zebra bowed as he explained. "I was also shocked..."

He explained how he was doing some routine checks around the place and decided to pay the wild tribe a visit last night.

And on his arrival, he was more than shocked to see the tribe men all there. Happily celebrating something he didn’t understand.

He didn’t care to know what they were celebrating, what shocked him most was the fact that they were still alive and healthy!

Everyone was speechless. They didn’t believe their ears at all. "I hope you’re not lying to us! We’ll kill you if you are!" Kul threatened.

"I swear I’m saying the truth! You can go and confirm if you wish!" The zebra assured them, swearing on his life and his family’s life.

Confusion filled their faces as these beastmen stared at each other and then at the zebra.

"How’s this possible? We made sure we eliminated them.. how are they still alive and healthy as if nothing happened?" The tribe leader demanded.

They didn’t know what to say at all.

And just as though that wasn’t enough, the zebra went ahead to spill more which he had seen.

"And..." The zebra shuddered as they stared at him.

"Speak, what again!" The tribe leader demanded as he finally spoke.

"I also saw the F-rank female there.. Miya’s sister that was supposed to be dead. I saw her there! She was celebrating with the wild beastmen there happily. It didn’t seem as though they were hostile to her at all. Rather it was as though they were all worshiping and pampering the female!"

The zebra spilled as all their faces fell in instant shock.
