Ayra smiled as she turned in bed and fell into Commander Lynn’s arm.

He was still asleep in bed, his body bare naked under the sheets while he spread his arm, holding onto Ayra.

Ayra paused staring into his face, blinking. She ran her finger to trace his morning sleepy face. She couldn’t help but smile while thinking about the different version of Commander Lynn from last night.

She sighed as she turned to get down from bed and prepare heading to take a bath when she suddenly heard knocks on the door.

"The wild cat is out! He escaped strangely!" One of them announced in panic.

"What? How did that happen?" Commander Lynn demanded.

"We don’t know, but rather than that we know that he’s heading to South of the jurisdiction and is wrecking havoc and harming people! There’s danger!" One explained.

Commander Lynn gasped as he nodded at them. "And where are the rest?"

"The tribe lords and other warriors are also there trying to hold the wild cat down! I was asked to inform you."

"Okay, don’t worry. I’ll be there right now," Commander Lynn assured them as they left.

Commander Lynn turned and went back in to meet Ayra who had heard everything.

"This is bad..." Ayra said as she got down from bed, already dressed. She guessed that went her plan to take a nice long refreshing bath before going to soothe the wild cat.

There was no time now. So she had to get ready to leave.

"What are you doing?" Commander Lynn inquired.

Ayra stared at him. "I have to be there if we want to make the kitty sleep," she explained.

"..." Commander Lynn blinked.

"I have to be there to soothe Nyx," she explained further.

"Oh..." Commander Lynn sighed as he said, "But it’s dangerous.. don’t you think you should stay back and let us do the work? What if the wild cat is more dangerous now.. you might be hurt."

The wolf was now openly worried about Ayra. And Ayra couldn’t help but smile while staring at him. She stood on her toe as she ran a hand through his hair and ears.

"Don’t worry, I can handle this. I’ve done it before and I’ll do it again. And if I don’t soothe the cat back to sanity, none of you can. He’ll only become more dangerous. So I have to be there," she explained.

Commander Lynn was quiet as he looked down, his ears also leaning down. He sighed as he said, "That’s true..."

Commander Lynn stared at her as he added, "Then let’s go. But I’ll protect you from anything. I’ll make sure nothing harms you at all," he assured.

Ayra smiled with a nod as she said, "Sure. You do that."
