Chapter 143: Pretty Flower
Chapter 143: 143: Pretty Flower
Commander Lynn’s eyes lingered through Ayra’s face while his heart fluttered at how close their faces were.
Ayra didn’t bother. She smiled as she placed the flower in place, staring at it with a smile. "That looks pretty sitting there, what do you think...?" She turned to stare into his eyes as their eyes locked.
Their faces close, their eyes locked while they stared at each other. They felt everything paused while they could only see each other, their hearts racing while the tension between them grew.

Ayra soon smiled as she stared at him. "You look good in this," she complimented as Commander Lynn immediately pulled back.
"Oh.." he cleared his throat while looking around awkwardly.
"Pretty wolf," Little Ally called out while she reached out her little hand to grab the flower at the corner of his hair. "Give! Flower!"
She struggled to grab it but Commander Lynn didn’t give it to her. He didn’t share the flower the female gave him with the little one.
"Flower..." While Ally got persistent, he rather reached out and got another flower and handed it to her.
The cub pouted while staring at the flower. The one she wanted was the one he had in his hair but he had given her another.
Ayra smiled seeing what he did. She simply shook her head with a smile as they continued strolling through the garden.
Ayra’s mission was simply to stall and distract Commander Lynn while the others made preparations for his birthday celebration. So Ayra was putting all the efforts possible to distract him.
They strolled through the garden scenery, taking a look at every possible flowers available while little Ally kept running around the scenery with her little legs.
"No, you can’t pull that flower off!" Ayra instructed but Little Ally wasn’t listening. The curious little cub wanted to take out all pretty flowers she’d seen.
And Commander Lynn ended up chasing her up and down to stop her from pulling all the flowers.
They’d stayed there for long enough before Little Ally sat down there on the floor, playing with the flowers she had managed to gather while Ayra and Commander Lynn sat down on the rock behind, watching her.
"What was the happiest memory you recall in life?" Ayra casually asked with a smile.
"Me?" Commander Lynn stared at her, the flower tucked at the corner of his hair.
She nodded. "Yes. What memory always makes you smile when you think about it?"
Commander Lynn was quiet, staring into the distance without saying anything.
"Nothing?" She inquired.
Commander Lynn sighed as he said, "I don’t know... I don’t think much about it..."
There was silence. "Really? Nothing at all? Everyone has many happy memories that always makes them happy when they think about them.. you should have one at least."
Commander Lynn looked down as he said, "I don’t know.. maybe I forgot..."
Ayra shook her head. "What a pity." She smiled as she stared at the cub playing. "Then I guess we’ll have to make some happy memories for you then."
He stared at her. "Make one?"
She nodded while he stared at her. Ayra smiled as she stared up through the evening sky. The birds flying through a direction in a cluster.
It was a sign that she had agreed on with the other beastmen. A sign to signal her that everything was ready.
"Yes, make one," she got up to her feet as she turned to Commander Lynn. She leaned closer and gently tapped on the flower he had left on his hair. "We’ve stayed here long enough, we should go and spend some time back at the tribe."
Commander Lynn hesitated, sitting down and staring at her as though disappointed. "Go back? Already?" He inquired.
She smiled as she said, "Yes, go back already. I have a surprise for you back at home."
He raised his eyebrows. "Surprise? What is it?" He asked in his calm tone.
Ayra smiled. "That’s why it’s a surprise, I can’t tell you till we get there," she smiled as she pulled him by the hand, pulling him to his feet. "Let’s get going."
Ayra turned to little Ally who was still playing with the flowers before her without care of whatever happening around her.
"Hey, Ally, let’s go. Time to go," Ayra called as Ally turned and stared at them. She turned and continued playing again.
Ayra smiled as she shook her head. "What a hot head," she sighed as she approached the cub. "If you don’t leave now you get a big meat to eat."
Immediately Ally left everything she was doing as she got up and approached Ayra. "I want big one!" She said.
Ayra smiled with a nod. "Yes sure. Let’s go. You’ll get it."
"Yay!" Ally smiled as she turned and led the way, walking with her little legs while Ayra and Commander Lynn followed behind.
Commander Lynn was skeptical to leave. But he had no choice. The female was bent on leaving, so he guessed he had to follow them back.
Evening had arrived and it was past his duty. So it was about time he headed back as well.
---
Ayra carried Little Ally in her arms while they made their way into the tribe. She led the way, leading Commander Lynn to the destination while the wolf followed behind.
"Where are we going? This isn’t the way to my place or your place either..." Commander Lynn pointed out as if it wasn’t obvious.
Ayra smiled as she said, "Well, I guess that’s pretty obvious. Follow a bit, we’ll get there soon."
Commander Lynn blinked. "Get where?" He was curious.
Ayra smiled as she said, "You’ll see pretty soon," she expressed as they continued moving.
They moved through the atmosphere and soon went into a darker area. It was hard for Commander Lynn to see anything happening, neither of them could properly see anything.
Commander Lynn had instantly pulled out his sword as he said, "Are you sure it’s safe here?" He asked as Ayra smiled.
"Trust me, it is..." Immediately a light sparked at the distance.
