Chapter 483: Heading To Divine Academy City Again

Violet fed seventy Enhancement Stones into her Frost Rapier, pushing it all the way to level three and turning a weapon that was already frightening into something far more dangerous than it had been just moments before.

With that done, Violet’s overall strength climbed even higher than it had been before.

Though the ice-related portion of her power stayed exactly the same, since it was already being boosted to SSS-Rank by the Blood Heart’s blessing and there was simply no more room for it to grow in that particular direction.

What mattered was that everything else about her had shot upward, and that alone was worth the stones she had just spent.

This whole process left eighty-eight Enhancement Stones for the other two, though it should be said that none of them ever argued about it.

From the very beginning, they had all agreed that Violet would take the majority of the stones whenever they were split.

Simply because she needed them the most and because her fighting style demanded that her weapon stay ahead of everything else.

Emilia and Celeste both knew for a fact that their own equipment would be improved soon enough, so neither of them felt any need to waste stones on gear that was already serving them perfectly well.

Emilia simply grabbed twenty Enhancement Stones and used them to level up her [Star Robe (Ancient)] a single time.

[Star Robe +2 (Ancient): +60,000 Spirit, +35,000 Constitution, +20,000 Agility. A robe woven from the threads of starlight, it carries a faint trace of celestial power that enhances the wearer’s magical abilities and provides a passive shield against dark attacks.]

It wasn’t much on paper, but it boosted her Spirit and Constitution at the same time, and thanks to her [Spirit Saint] and [Support Saint] titles, that small bump translated into roughly three hundred thousand Combat Power appearing out of nowhere.

As for the remaining sixty-eight stones, Celeste was the one who received them, and she used them to upgrade her [Flameheart Spear (Ancient)] twice, with the first upgrade costing twenty stones and the second costing thirty.

Leon was handed the remaining eighteen Enhancement Stones, and he simply stored them away inside his Storage Space for later.

After using all of these stones, his Storage Space had been freed up quite nicely, which meant he could now hold hundreds of additional items without any trouble.

With all of that settled, Leon went through every other item he had obtained.

The only one he didn’t really know anything about was the [Monster’s Horn (Ascendant)], which sat in his inventory looking strange and important all at once.

"We also got that [Monster Lord] sub-talent from that thing too," Emilia mumbled, "but we didn’t use it."

"Hm."

[Monster Lord (S-Level): You are able to make monsters weaker than you submit to your will, turning them into a pet if the conditions are right. You will need to keep their strength and loyalty high, but they will be able to evolve, like a normal pet. There is a limit to how many you can have though.]

Both of these things had come from the [Vessel of Monsters], and yet they seemed to function in extremely weird ways that nobody fully understood just yet.

The horn was sealed, the talent was unused, and neither of them had any idea what would happen once used.

"I guess we’ll find out," Leon shrugged, not particularly worried about it, "I don’t really want another pet since I have Alphox, but for you, it could definitely be good."

Speaking of Alphox, the baby dragon had already returned to his pet space to rest after the battle with the Soul Soldier, since the fight had clearly taken a lot out of him.

After the entire Monster Tide, he had managed to level up to level nine, which meant only one more level was required before Alphox reached Tier-2.

And that also meant he would finally grow up instead of staying baby dragon.

"You should buy a [Pet Consumption Crystal] like you did with Pyra," Celeste advised, "or maybe find something even stronger, just in case it can help."

"Yeah," Leon nodded, "I thought about that."

Leon had noticed that Alphox took far more experience points to level up than pretty much any other pet he had ever seen.

Even Pyra, who was an extremely powerful pet that required perhaps dozens of times the experience points of a normal pet, was currently sitting at level eight of Tier-2, which meant she was about to reach Tier-3 soon.

And yet Alphox was still far behind despite having done more work than her.

’Oh well, you can rest for now, little buddy.’

Once that was done, Leon looked in the direction where the Hunter had pointed, knowing full well that this was where they needed to go eventually.

But before any of that, he had already made his choice, and it was a choice he had been sitting on for a while now.

"Let’s go back to the [Divine Academy] and eliminate the threats there," Leon smiled.

Violet, Celeste and Emilia nodded without hesitation.

Even though they didn’t know why Leon was so adamant about killing the chairman and the teachers, they trusted him so completely that they would agree to pretty much anything that wasn’t completely insane.

And knowing Leon the way they did, if he wanted to kill a being that badly, it meant that being had wronged him in some way, and that was more than enough reason for them.

In Leon’s head though, the reasoning was simple.

Since he knew it would take a while to complete the Hunter’s quest, he wanted to get rid of any loose ends he could potentially leave behind before he moved on to bigger things.

He wanted to be sure he could defeat the Requiem Guild, so he chose not to fight them right now, though he planned to do it soon enough.

But the one enemy he knew about in this domain that was still standing was the [Divine Academy], and leaving them alone felt like leaving a knife pointed at his back.

And so, Leon opened his [World Map], and while grabbing onto the girls, he teleported them away.

Fwoosh!

After a few seconds, they all appeared outside of Divine Academy City.

Their gaze landed on the entrance of the city first before looking up at the academy building sitting in the center like some kind of monument.

"When we enter," Leon began, spinning his staff in his hand, "don’t attack recklessly. But if you see any teacher, or any student that seems to want to challenge us... no mercy."

Hearing that, the girls nodded.
