Online Game: I Have A 100% Drop Rate

Chapter 364: Level 90, Exponential Experience Points

[Since you have reached level 90, the experience points you need to level up will greatly vary.]

[Level: 90 (16,400/3,000,000)]

The experience points required right now were actually not bad, but for example, it would likely take an additional 200,000 experience points for level 91 instead of only 100,000 with Leon’s curse active.

Then for level 92, it might be 400,000 experience points, and so on, the requirements growing exponentially with each level.

Leon didn’t care much though, because he had other ways to grow stronger besides just leveling up, and his focus was on overall power rather than just numbers.

His experience points gains were slowing down drastically, but if he kept going, he could still manage to reach higher levels eventually with enough time and effort.

And leveling up quickly wasn’t his main goal to begin with, he simply needed to be stronger overall to face the challenges ahead.

"I gained fifty times as much attribute points in a few hours with Leon than in an entire month..." Emilia mumbled, her hands shaking with the new power she had just received, "Amazing."

Each essence granted around 200 attribute points per level 95 monster, making it an amazing way to farm points and grow stronger quickly, something most players could only dream of.

Grinding them out in the [Hollow Plains] for a few days were the reason Leon grew so much stronger than before, his power increasing dramatically.

In fact, as Leon looked at his combat power, he was genuinely impressed by his progress.

[Combat Power: 907,683 (+5,146,785)]

Leon had surpassed 6 million combat power total, allowing him to fight even level 100 monsters if he had to, or close to it at least.

The [Crescent Blade Wolf], the one that Violet had fought, was considered a strong boss monster, and it had 8.5 million combat power, making it a formidable opponent.

The difference between the two of them was only getting smaller, and in fact, due to all his blessings and sub-talents, Leon felt like he could still defeat it if he had to, despite the gap.

He was slowly but surely getting to the point where he could overwhelm level 100 opponents without too much trouble.

’Good,’ Leon smiled to himself, feeling satisfied with his progress, ’And soon enough, I’ll be able to smash all these natives too.’

Dominik, the divine academy’s teachers, the guardians and the awakener lord were still stronger than these level 100 bosses, but not by much in the grand scheme of things, and Leon was closing the gap.

If Leon had to guess, if he could defeat an opponent with 10 million combat power... he’d be able to get rid of them all without too much trouble.

’Only a few more...’ he thought, his eyes gleaming with determination, ’Just a bit more and I’ll be ready to get rid of them.’

Leon was getting so close to his goal that it felt like his soul was burning with anticipation and excitement for what was to come.

As the hours passed, the horde of monsters visibly calmed down and thinned out, and the calm returned to the place as the guards finally got a chance to rest and recover.

Many players and guards instantly approached Leon to shake his hand and thank him for his help in defending the wall and saving their lives.

"You should be able to go to the front lines with such power, human," one of the commanders of the imperial army bowed respectfully, his voice filled with admiration, "Though I need to warn you, only our strongest troops are sent there because the monsters are far more dangerous."

"One day," Leon replied calmly, not in any rush to push himself too far.

He actually felt happy enough grinding for items in here for a few days to build up his strength and wealth before moving on.

’But the level 100 monsters will grant me much more interesting items than these ones,’ Leon thought, already planning his next moves, ’And eventually my progress will get slower either way with the exponential requirements.’

Plus, more than anything, Leon wanted to train Alphox and see what the dragon could do when properly leveled and evolved.

He had summoned him once, but the small pet stayed asleep, no matter how much Leon tried to wake him up from his deep slumber, exhausted from the hatching process.

Not wanting to disturb the hatchling unnecessarily, Leon decided to let him sleep for now and wait until he was ready to interact with the world.

The trio said goodbye to all those who thanked them, and after Leon placed all the items he didn’t need on sale in the [Trading House], he used the world map to teleport back to the inn for some rest.

"I swear, I don’t understand how people grind without Leon’s talent," Celeste stretched herself, her voice filled with disbelief, "It seems completely useless to even try without it honestly..."

"Hah, you say that while you’re able to gain stats from killing enemies," Emilia scoffed sarcastically, "Look at me, gaining almost nothing in a whole month of fighting!"

"Well... your magic grew much stronger today thanks to Leon giving you all those essences... so its a win-win, right?"

"Right..." Emilia admitted with a small smile, feeling satisfied with her progress.

They took up the same room as before with the two beds, with Leon paying for it since it was very cheap, and just like that, the two girls fell asleep almost instantly, exhausted from the day’s fighting.

It had been a long day, so it was rather normal they were tired and needed to recover their energy for the next day.

Of course though, Leon wasn’t tired at all, and he remained awake, his mind sharp and alert as he considered his next moves.

In fact, he was thinking about something specific, something that Violet had told him a few hours ago when they had spoken:

’My popularity started to grow at the [Imperial Arena] when I first came here, maybe you should check it out, I’ll be there tonight.’

Violet said she’d be in the arena tonight, and since Leon hadn’t been there yet... he was actually pretty curious to see what it was all about and what kind of fights happened there.

He summoned 25 undead skeletons, surrounding the bed where the two girls slept to protect them from any potential threats, though he was quite sure nothing would happen since they had been alone for a month without any issues, and Leon teleported out of the inn, eager to check the [Imperial Arena] for himself.
