One Piece: White Ghost of the Seas
Chapter 357: Borsalino Doesn’t Play Fair
By the time Mjosgard and Kalbar arrived at the port, the domineering Dragon Emperor was slowly sailing into view from the edge of the horizon.
Kizaru stood quietly in a corner, watching everything unfold.
He did not approach.
The mission he had received was only to monitor White Ghost and his people.
That guy was lawless and daring. To avoid unnecessary trouble, Sengoku had sent Kizaru over. Although he could not stop White Ghost, he could at least be somewhat useful.
Mjosgard smiled.
"I wonder if I'll end up on a wanted poster one day."
Butler Kalbar shook his head slightly.
"Young Lord, I do not think so. Although you no longer hold that identity, some influence still remains."
The corner of Mjosgard's mouth lifted.
"Kalbar, don't forget Doflamingo, who was also once a Celestial Dragon from our line, and Shanks of the Figarland family."
Kalbar shook his head.
"That is different, Young Lord. They left the Holy Land when they were children. You, however, grew up there."
Mjosgard stopped Kalbar, who still wanted to say more.
"I am no longer a Celestial Dragon. They will not care about my identity anymore."
Kalbar said nothing.
After all, that was the truth.
Mjosgard had already seen the man standing at the dragon head. His mouth curved.
"Don't think about those useless things. If we follow him, our future lives won't be worse than before."
Kalbar looked up and instinctively swept over with Observation Haki.
The next second, Kalbar's expression changed drastically.
"How exactly did this man train? His aura isn't any weaker than those five!"
Mjosgard smiled calmly.
"Who knows how that guy trains? Once people reach their level, even the smallest breakthrough becomes terrifying."
Kalbar said nothing more.
The man before him was different from before.
He had truly become a major figure.
White Ghost's ship docked. He was the first to jump down, opening his arms and giving Mjosgard a big hug.
"I didn't expect you to really make the decision. I thought you wouldn't be able to part with a life countless people envy."
Mjosgard laughed loudly.
"Hahahaha! Don't tease me, you bastard. Whoever likes that kind of life can have it. I don't want it anymore."
The two separated, and White Ghost sized him up.
"Not bad. Your foundation has come up. Your aura is about the same as a Vice Admiral's."
"Of course. I've trained for so many years. If I hadn't even reached Vice Admiral level, I might as well have jumped off the Red Line."
Mjosgard placed his hands on his waist, looking very pleased with himself.
White Ghost waved.
"Let's go, let's go. Get on the ship. This is the World Government's territory. A vicious criminal like me shouldn't wander around too much."
"Hahaha!"
Mjosgard and his butler boarded the ship.
Once White Ghost returned to the deck, he turned and looked in Kizaru's direction with a faint smile.
In the shadows, Kizaru flattened his lips.
"What a monster. His aura is who knows how many times more frightening than last time."
Borsalino frowned.
"Why don't I see that island ship? Did it fly into the New World from the sky?"
Kizaru had guessed correctly.
Dragon Island was too large and troublesome, so White Ghost had directly asked Van Augur to float it away. Issho went with him as well. That way, it was safer.
Once they were on the ship, White Ghost nodded to Stella.
They could not stay here any longer.
Aside from Kizaru, there were other auras nearby.
Stella spread her pale hands.
Buzz.
A transparent bubble began expanding. Before long, it wrapped around the entire ship.
"The Bubble-Bubble Fruit?"
Borsalino rubbed his chin.
The Navy knew about this ability, but he had not expected it to be developed in such a unique way.
Seeing White Ghost's ship begin to sink, the people hidden around them started taking out Den Den Mushi to report.
Borsalino also took out a Den Den Mushi and reported to Sengoku.
"Sengoku-san, that guy didn't do anything excessive. After picking up the person, he directly submerged toward Fish-Man Island."
Sengoku's voice came from the Den Den Mushi.
"Understood. Come back. We need to prepare. Once that guy enters the New World, he will absolutely cause major trouble."
Borsalino hung up the Den Den Mushi and looked toward a nearby corner.
"Hmm. The famous Dark King Rayleigh also secretly monitors people?"
Rayleigh, whose hair had already turned white, walked out from the side and glanced at the sinking ship.
"You Marines just watch a criminal slip away right in front of you?"
Borsalino raised his hands, his face full of fear.
"Spare me. It isn't as if you didn't sense that guy's aura. He's terrifying."
Rayleigh stopped mocking Kizaru.
He had sensed White Ghost's aura just now.
Strong.
Extremely strong.
So strong that even he found it frightening.
That man had already reached the same level as Roger and Whitebeard in their prime.
At that moment, Rayleigh tilted his head.
Whoosh!
A beam of laser light shot past his cheek.
Rayleigh turned his head with an ugly expression.
"What? Is a Marine Admiral planning to attack an old man like me?"
Borsalino drew his Ama no Murakumo sword, his face still looking terrified.
"Hmm. Didn't you just say we Marines let a criminal escape?
"So there's still one criminal here to make up for it."
Rayleigh drew his sword and looked at him seriously.
"Kizaru-kun, I haven't caused any trouble."
"That's not up to you."
Borsalino raised his light sword and attacked.
Clang!
Rayleigh caught the blow, and the two began clashing.
The corner of Borsalino's mouth crooked.
"So scary. As expected of the Pirate King's vice captain."
Rayleigh narrowed his eyes, knocked away his sword with a counter, and quickly pulled back.
Borsalino frowned.
He could tell this guy had no intention of acting along with him.
He scratched his head in distress.
If this continued and the World Government held him responsible, things would become troublesome.
Rayleigh also saw through his purpose. His eyes narrowed, and his sword rapidly turned black as red arcs of lightning began jumping over it.
"Divine Departure!"
Whoosh!
Borsalino dodged in a flash.
He did not dare use elementalization to avoid a slash coated with Conqueror's Haki.
That thing was terrifying.
Last time, White Ghost had cut him several times with it.
The slash flew across the ground, carving a long trench through it.
When Borsalino steadied himself and looked over, Rayleigh had already run away, his aura completely gone.
Borsalino curled his lips.
"How heartless. What's wrong with sparring with me for a while? It's not like you'd get hurt."
As he spoke, he looked around.
"If I can't catch the big one, I can still bring back some small ones.
"If I return empty-handed, Sengoku-san will definitely dock my bonus."
Before long, the pirates on the island became unlucky.
"Have you ever been kicked at the speed of light?"
Before they could even react, they were kicked unconscious.
If White Ghost saw this, he would definitely complain about how much Kizaru had held back against those Supernovas in the original path.
Now, he was taking down one person with each kick, practically turning into a football star.
Against those people in the original path, one kick only made them cough up a little blood.
Especially that guy Luffy, the king of getting carried.
That was not holding back.
That was letting the whole sea in.
