One Piece: White Ghost of the Seas

Chapter 356: Mjosgard Makes His Move

  • Next Chapter

Mjosgard and his old butler Kalbar walked along the streets of the Sabaody Archipelago.

Because he was no longer wearing the Celestial Dragons' special clothes or bubble helmet, and because Mjosgard looked very different from before, very few people on the street recognized him as a Celestial Dragon.

The people on the street saw that the two had extraordinary bearing and simply assumed they were nobles from some country.

Mjosgard bought some snacks from a street stall, then walked while eating with his butler.

For some reason, after coming down from that place, his whole body felt strangely relaxed.

It was as if something had left him.

Mjosgard did not want to think too much about it.

He only needed to carefully consider what kind of life he wanted to live from now on.

Kalbar looked at his young master relaxing and felt happy as well.

Just as the two headed toward the port, a large group of people with ill intent began quietly following behind them.

The main reason was that their clothes clearly looked expensive.

On top of that, the butler-looking man beside him was carrying two large cases.

Needless to say, this was a noble with some strength who had gone out to play alone.

This kind of person was the easiest target.

Rob him, kill him, throw the corpse into the sea to feed the fish, and who would know who did it?

They were very good at this sort of thing.

Kalbar frowned.

"Young Master?"

Mjosgard waved his hand.

"No need to worry. They're only trash. I'll clean them up in a moment. I'm no longer who I used to be."

Kalbar nodded.

"I understand, Young Master. I will clean them up shortly."

Mjosgard shook his head, the corner of his mouth lifting slightly.

"Relax. Am I that useless? Also, don't call me Young Master anymore. Just call me Young Lord."

Kalbar froze.

The next second, his eyes grew moist.

Although only one word had changed, the meaning was worlds apart.

Mjosgard smiled at him and continued walking toward the port.

Mjosgard had originally wanted him to call him by name from now on, but after thinking about it, that was almost impossible.

This family had protected his line for generations. In their bones, they believed themselves to be his servants.

For now, letting him call him Young Lord was enough.

It meant Mjosgard treated him like family.

That way, Kalbar could feel more at ease too.

Slowly, the two moved farther and farther from the residential district.

The people behind them, full of ill intent, began quickening their steps with ferocious expressions.

Tap, tap.

Mjosgard and Kalbar stopped.

Because they had already been surrounded.

Mjosgard calmly looked around.

There were about fifty people.

At that moment, the crowd at the back automatically opened a path, and a large man with a terrifying scar across his face walked out, grinning wickedly at the two of them.

If White Ghost saw this man, he would immediately draw his beloved blade and slash him, then hang him up and whip him until he was half dead, heal him, and whip him again.

Mjosgard looked calmly at the man.

"Blood Scarface. Bounty, fifty million."

"Hahahaha!"

Scarface laughed proudly.

"Well, well, well. Didn't expect my name to already be this famous. Even a random person like you can call out my name."

"Hahaha! Captain is the strongest! Captain is number one under heaven!"

Scarface's subordinates immediately began cheering along with him.

Scarface frowned.

Because he did not see even a trace of panic on those two faces.

There were only two possibilities for people like this.

First, they had absolute confidence in their own strength. Just like the two in front of him, calm and composed, their eyes flat and indifferent.

Second, they were fools. The kind of arrogant fools who thought having a little strength meant they could disregard everything.

Scarface looked at their calm gazes, and his heart thumped.

It was obvious these two were the first kind.

Ever since watching Pirate King Roger's execution, Scarface did not know why, but his heart had often jumped with fear, as if some great terror had locked onto him.

Because of that, he had acted very carefully over the years. The moment he sensed something was wrong, he immediately ran.

He saw that these two were not easy to provoke and was just about to flee when the green-haired man suddenly disappeared from the crowd.

Whoosh.

Mjosgard appeared in front of Scarface, his finger touching the center of the man's brow. His expression held neither sorrow nor joy.

"Looks like you're afraid."

Mjosgard's movement frightened the surrounding crowd so much that those small fries did not react for a while.

Gulp.

Scarface swallowed.

The aura of death enveloped him.

"Big Brother, I was blind. I didn't know who I was dealing with. Please spare me."

Scarface had surrendered, but after his underlings reacted, they refused to accept it. One after another, they lifted their weapons and shouted.

"Bastard, release our captain, or we'll beat you to death!"

Scarface's face turned pale.

In his heart, he cursed these fools.

Could they not shut their mouths?

Did they not see that he was in someone else's hands?

Sweat broke out on Scarface's forehead.

"Big Brother, spare me. I won't do this again!"

Mockery appeared in Mjosgard's eyes.

"I have a friend who once said a dog that eats filth never changes."

Scarface's face turned white.

He knew he would not escape this time.

His heart hardened.

A dagger appeared in his hand, and he stabbed it fiercely at Mjosgard.

Bang!

After a single sound, everyone present saw their captain collapse to the ground with a bloody hole in his forehead.

The surroundings fell silent.

Mjosgard turned to look at them.

"There is no need for scum like you to live either."

"Kill him! Avenge the captain!"

The vice captain roared.

The subordinates rushed toward Mjosgard with red eyes.

"Kill him!"

Mjosgard looked at the crowd.

There was no panic on his face.

He merely extended his hand and slowly clenched it.

Buzz.

An invisible force spread out, and the bodies of the small fries around him began twisting and deforming.

"What's going on?!"

The underlings, forced to stop, felt their uncontrollable bodies with utter terror.

Mjosgard spoke calmly.

"Twist Space."

Bang, bang, bang!

One by one, the pirates' bodies twisted more and more. They could not even make a sound. They could only watch as their own bodies changed, then finally burst apart.

Splat, splat, splat.

Piles of minced flesh scattered across the ground.

Ignoring the shredded flesh around them, Mjosgard continued walking toward the port with Butler Kalbar.

Only after he left did the people hidden in the dark look in horror at the piles of flesh ahead.

Some could not help vomiting on the spot.

They were very glad they had not acted.

Otherwise, they would have become shredded flesh like those people.

How terrifying.

Not far away, a sleazy-looking man rubbed his chin.

"So scary. As expected of a Celestial Dragon. Paramecia Twist-Twist Fruit? How terrifying."

After saying that, Kizaru turned into particles of light and vanished.
