One Piece: I Upgraded the Strongest Man in the World

Chapter 105: Two Hundred Thousand! The Limit!

  • Next Chapter

Ron stared at the gigantic mushroom cloud in the distance attack.

Although there was still no hard data to support it, making it impossible to determine whether the attack merely resembled a nuclear weapon or had truly reached nuclear-level destructive power—

One thing was certain:

The threat it posed was real.

And immense.

However...

What was happening now was even more shocking.

Jozu’s arms radiated blinding light.

They looked like two miniature suns suspended in the air.

Based on everything Ron had seen so far, he was convinced that the power of this attack had already surpassed that of a nuclear bomb.

Even Whitebeard appeared somewhat shaken.

His gaze remained fixed on Jozu as he silently wondered:

If I had to face that attack head-on... could I stop it?

The aura emanating from Jozu’s arms was enough to make even the World’s Strongest Man feel uneasy.

Ace and Marco stood silently nearby.

Neither of them took their eyes off Jozu.

They understood exactly how terrifying his current state was.

No one dared make a sound that might distract him.

The entire area had fallen into an eerie silence.

Everyone was waiting for the terrifying explosion that seemed inevitable.

Enel, meanwhile, was already dumbfounded.

As a Logia User of the Rumble-Rumble Fruit, he could clearly sense the frightening amount of energy condensed within Jozu’s arms.

At that moment, he couldn’t help feeling grateful that he had joined this crew.

Otherwise, facing monsters like these as enemies would probably leave him unable to sleep at night.

And if Jozu lost control and detonated that thing here—

Forget him.

The entire Sky Island might explode along with it.

These people are monsters.

Absolutely terrifying.

"One hundred... ten thousand..."

Jozu gritted his teeth.

Veins bulged across his forehead as he pushed the power of the Glint-Glint Fruit to its limits.

His body had become a vortex of energy.

Countless beams continued converging under his control.

The heat generated by the compressed energy had already turned his arms crimson red.

Parts of his skin were beginning to blacken from the strain.

Even his legs trembled as they struggled to support the overwhelming power.

"My limit?"

"Not even close!"

Jozu roared.

His eyes burned with madness and determination.

If he was going to test his limits—

Then he would do it properly.

Blenheim and the other Division Commanders were already completely stunned.

They stared at Jozu in disbelief.

Has he lost his mind?

Who deliberately pushed themselves this far?

What if something went wrong?

Yet everyone knew there was no point trying to stop him now.

All they could do was watch his madness continue.

Ron himself was beginning to feel nervous.

Tiny beads of sweat appeared on his forehead.

He knew that if Jozu lost control and triggered an explosion, the consequences would be unimaginable.

His physique had been greatly enhanced.

Combined with Armament Haki covering his entire body, he should theoretically be able to withstand a considerable amount of heat and shockwave damage.

But against something of this magnitude...

Even that might not be enough.

To prepare for the worst, Ron was already considering using the Heaven-Severing Draw Sword Technique.

The technique required incredible speed and precision.

All of one’s power had to be concentrated into a single strike.

If he could accurately split the explosion in half at the moment of detonation, he might be able to create enough time to escape.

But the difficulty was enormous.

One mistake and everything would be over.

More importantly—

There were many others nearby.

Unlike him, they lacked special methods for dealing with disasters of this scale.

If an accident occurred, many of them might not survive.

" Jozu..."

Ron finally spoke.

"I think that’s probably enough."

A trace of concern slipped into his voice.

He knew how difficult it was for Jozu to stop once he entered this state.

Unexpectedly, Jozu became even more serious.

His eyes shone with unwavering determination.

"Ron!"

"Didn’t you say we were testing my limits?"

"I haven’t reached them yet!"

His booming voice echoed across the White-White Sea.

"One hundred thirty thousand!"

The moment he shouted the number, an even more terrifying wave of energy swept outward.

Everyone’s hearts trembled.

Cold sweat covered their foreheads.

If Whitebeard weren’t standing nearby, providing an invisible sense of security, many of them would have already fled.

A few moments later—

"One hundred fifty thousand!"

The pressure intensified again.

Jozu’s clothes were completely soaked with sweat.

Even the surrounding air felt unbearably heavy.

Nobody dared breathe too loudly.

Then—

"One hundred eighty thousand!"

The entire space seemed to shudder.

Ace unconsciously turned toward Marco.

His eyes were filled with unease.

Are we really sure this is okay?

Marco immediately noticed.

He smiled reassuringly.

"You’re a Logia User."

"What are you worried about?"

Then he pointed toward Ron.

"Look at the Vice Captain."

"Even Ron doesn’t seem afraid."

"What are you panicking for?"

Ace opened his mouth.

Then closed it again.

He had no response.

Yet at that exact moment—

Jozu let out an even louder roar.

"Two..."

"Two hundred thousand!!!"

His voice thundered through the sky.

His face had turned bright red.

The veins bulging across his forehead resembled twisting snakes.

His breathing was ragged and violent.

Each breath seemed to suck in all the surrounding air.

Each exhale felt like an explosion.

At this point, Jozu wasn’t merely controlling the unimaginably complex network of light pathways.

He also had to constantly maintain the delicate balance between the compressed energy and the focal point in his palms.

The burden was unbelievable.

For anyone else, managing even one of those tasks would have been impossible.

Yet Jozu was doing both simultaneously.

Under extreme output.

Second after second passed.

His mental processing capacity and Devil Fruit control were rapidly approaching their limits.

Sweat poured down his face.

Droplets splashed onto the ground below.

His hands trembled uncontrollably.

But he didn’t dare relax his concentration for even an instant.

Then finally—

His expression changed.

"P-Probably..."

"No..."

"I can’t hold it anymore!"

"I can’t hold it anymore!"
