Chapter 633 - 872 – I Have to Tease Her Back

"They've left."

Raki watched Blueno and the other two depart with an intrigued smile. With her enhanced eyesight, she could easily make out Rob Lucci and the others disappearing into the distance even though it was already late at night.

"That's good, that's good. I was worried they might try something."

Kalifa patted her chest in relief.

"If they're smart enough, they won't even think about trying anything."

Raki smiled as she spoke. If Blueno and the others really did try something, then although she would feel a little bad for Kalifa, Raki still intended to teach them a proper lesson. As long as they were made to understand the gap in strength between them, they probably wouldn't cause any more trouble afterward.

"Hearing you say that actually makes me a little worried about them. I guess I really should give them a proper warning."

Kalifa had already made up her mind. Tomorrow, she would have a serious talk with Rob Lucci and Kaku and tell them that once they finished work, they should simply go home instead of coming to look for her.

Although Kalifa believed that people as levelheaded as Rob Lucci and the others probably wouldn't do anything too extreme, she was still afraid they might suddenly lose their heads and impulsively do something stupid.

"Then go ahead and remind them. If there's nothing else, we should find somewhere to rest too."

Raki stretched lazily.

"Sounds good."

Kalifa nodded. Since there was no longer any problem with Blueno, Rob Lucci, and Kaku, she could finally get some proper rest.

The day had thoroughly exhausted her. It wasn't supervising the shipwrights that had worn her out, though—it was her battle with Arton.

As enjoyable as it had been, it was still extremely physically draining. At this point, Kalifa genuinely couldn't keep going any longer.

Once they had prepared a place to sleep, Kalifa promptly lay down and fell asleep.

Raki smiled at the sight and was just about to get some rest herself when a familiar voice suddenly sounded beside her ear.

"She's asleep?"

"Captain?"

Raki turned around at the voice, pleasantly surprised.

"Shh."

Arton raised a finger to his lips.

Seeing his gesture, Raki hurriedly covered her mouth, afraid she might accidentally ruin whatever Arton was planning.

"Captain, what are you doing here at this hour?" she asked quietly after taking a deep breath.

"Conis is exhausted, so I came to have some fun with you two."

Arton made no attempt to hide his intentions.

"That sounds great."

Raki immediately hurried over to him. They had already put up a makeshift shelter around the area, so there was no need to worry about anyone else seeing what happened inside.

"Wait a second. Let me give Kalifa a little surprise in her sleep first."

Arton grinned.

"Captain, you aren't planning to get even with her, are you?"

The moment Raki saw his mischievous smile, the words slipped out.

"Heh. She took advantage of me while I was drunk and teased me before, so of course I have to tease her back, don't I?"

"Then she's in for a rough time."

Raki cast Kalifa a sympathetic glance.

Before long, however, that sympathy turned into envy.

There was no helping it. What Arton was doing to Kalifa was simply far too exciting to watch.

…

"Haah… You're way too sneaky, Captain."

Kalifa looked at Arton lying against her chest, speaking between ragged breaths.

"You're the one who took advantage of me while I was drunk before. Of course I had to get you back."

Arton shrugged.

"So the man I've set my sights on is actually quite the grudge holder."

Kalifa sighed.

"Do you dislike that about me?"

Arton asked.

"If it's you, Captain, then no, I don't."

Kalifa gently caressed Arton's cheek.

"I'm glad to hear you say that."

Arton likewise reached up and stroked Kalifa's cheek.

"I hate to interrupt you two, but shouldn't it be my turn now?"

Raki spoke up from nearby.

"All right."

Arton still hadn't had nearly enough, so he simply lay back down.

Seeing that, Raki naturally took the initiative and launched her own offensive. Arton, meanwhile, casually chatted with Kalifa, who was lying beside him, while Raki kept herself busy.

"Speaking of which, they've already finished the foundation of the ship this quickly. Doesn't that mean the whole thing will be finished pretty soon?"

"Exactly," Kalifa replied with a nod. "Iceburg is putting everything he has into building this ship. At this rate, it might only take a few days to finish."

"They can build the entire ship in just a few days?"

Arton rubbed his chin, then looked up at Raki.

"Can you go a little faster, Raki?"

"Of course."

Raki smiled.

"Do you think they're building the ship too slowly, Captain?"

Kalifa cast an envious glance at Raki, who still had enough stamina to continue battling Arton, before turning to ask him.

"Not at all. As far as I'm concerned, the faster they build it, the better."

Arton shook his head. He was still eager to set sail again. The sooner the ship was completed, the sooner he could head for his next destination.

"I'm just impressed. Iceburg's speed really is no joke."

And this was with Iceburg not even having called Franky over to help.

If Iceburg brought Franky into the job as well, it was difficult to imagine just how terrifyingly fast their construction speed would become.

"I see. I thought you were worried that building the ship too quickly might attract Zephyr's attention."

Kalifa nodded.

"Zephyr would notice us just because our ship is being built too quickly?"

Arton rested his hand beneath Kalifa's head as he asked.

"I'm only saying it's possible. After all, this construction speed really is much faster than usual, so it wouldn't be strange for Zephyr and the Marines with him to notice. Besides, Zephyr ran into us before and told us that if anyone came looking for trouble, we should ask him for help."

Kalifa couldn't help laughing as she spoke.

If Zephyr ever learned that the people he had offered to help were actually crewmates of the very Arton he was searching for, she had no idea what kind of expression he would make.

"That guy… To tell you the truth, I really don't want to become enemies with him. I'll have Ain give him a heads-up one of these days."

Arton shook his head with a sigh.

"Speaking of Ain, how is she doing right now?"

Raki asked while continuing what she was doing.

"Ain? She's just like Conis right now—completely exhausted from overdoing it."

The corners of Arton's mouth curled upward with unmistakable confidence.

"As expected of Captain, I suppose."

Raki sighed in admiration.
