One Piece: Don't Worry, I'm a Doctor

Chapter 380: I’ll Smack You Dead with One Shoulder Throw

Chapter 380: Chapter 380: I’ll Smack You Dead with One Shoulder Throw

The burly pirate with a long sword and a face full of scars finally sheathed his blade at his waist.

Without hesitation, he began unbuckling his pants, a lewd grin spreading across his face. One hand worked on his belt while the other reached out toward Shirahoshi.

A visible tent had already formed in his trousers.

“Good! Damn good! Never thought a fish could get me this hard!”

“Can’t even imagine how wild she’d be!”

Just as his fingers were about to brush against Shirahoshi’s skin, a voice suddenly spoke up from behind him.

“Fish-Man Karate…”

The voice startled him—he hadn’t sensed anyone there!

Meanwhile, Shirahoshi, who had been unconscious, seemed to stir slightly at the familiar voice, her eyelids fluttering weakly.

The man whirled around in panic, only to find a large, imposing figure standing behind him. His face paled.

Too panicked to even pull up his pants, he grabbed a knife from his belt and swung wildly at Jinbe.

But—

“Samegawara Seiken!”

A shockwave of compressed air and water erupted from Jinbe’s fist, slamming directly into the man’s chest.

From Shirahoshi’s perspective, the man—who had been standing there bare-assed—instantly burst into a cloud of blood mist.

The sheer force of the impact sent the blood splattering across her entire face in an instant.

Her dazed eyes blinked slowly, staring at Jinbe, who now looked just as shocked as she was.

Then—

“KYAAAAAA—!!!”

A deafening scream tore through the air, the sheer volume making Jinbe’s already-wide eyes bulge even further.

Staring at Shirahoshi, now covered in blood, he froze.

He glanced down at his own hands in disbelief before quickly rushing forward to comfort her.

He really hadn’t expected the guy to be that weak.

How could such a pathetic human have made it all the way into the palace’s inner chambers?

And worse—how had he gotten so close to Shirahoshi?

Jinbe had gone all out, assuming these intruders were strong.

But in the end? They shattered like glass.

Truth was, these pirates were so weak that even King Neptune’s forces hadn’t detected them.

Now, without even needing to check, Jinbe knew—little Shirahoshi was terrified.

But in the brief moment he hesitated, a massive axe came whistling past his ear—heading straight for Shirahoshi!

Instantly, cold sweat drenched Jinbe’s entire body.

Without a second thought, he lunged forward, snatching the axe out of the air at the very last second.

It stopped just inches from Shirahoshi’s nose.

The trembling princess, still sobbing, felt the rush of wind against her face.

Her teary eyes cracked open once more—only to widen in sheer horror.

The first thing she saw was Jinbe, gripping a monstrous axe that was even bigger than her entire body.

And it was right in front of her face.

The razor-sharp edge gleamed, the cold steel radiating menace.

Her eyes rolled back.

“Too scary… too scary~ I wanna go back to my bed…”

With that final whimper, she fainted again.

Jinbe slapped his own forehead.

He never imagined things would turn out like this.

Looking down at Shirahoshi—now unconscious, shivering, and clearly traumatized even in her sleep—he felt a deep pang of guilt.

Summoning a small stream of water, he quickly washed the blood off her face before gently placing her back in her bed.

Just then, another figure appeared at the door—a stocky fish-man.

This one, however, was the third prince, Manboshi.

A moonfish merman, his combat strength was no joke.

The moment he arrived, he shouted in panic, “Shirahoshi! Shirahoshi! I’m here to save you! Where are you?!”

Yes, he had rushed back to protect her.

Sending everyone away earlier had been a mistake—one King Neptune had only just realized.

Seeing the door wide open, Manboshi’s heart nearly stopped.

And the sight of blood all over the floor? That just made it worse.

But as he stepped inside, a blue-skinned fish-man walked toward him.

“Stay here and guard Shirahoshi. I’ll be back soon.”

Jinbe gave Manboshi’s shoulder a firm pat before striding out without another word.

Manboshi clearly recognized him.

But confusion still clouded his mind.

Why was Jinbe here? Wasn’t he at the Summit War?

He’d seen Jinbe on the broadcast, so how could he return so quickly?

Were these dead guys on the floor his doing?

And why was Shirahoshi unconscious?

The third prince was brimming with questions, but Jinbe had already vanished.

With no other choice, he quickly locked the door before taking a seat beside Shirahoshi, standing guard.

Meanwhile, chaos reigned in Fish-Man Island’s central plaza.

Humans and fish-men clashed in a brutal melee.

“Fall back! We’ve got three! Retreat for now!”

“Stop right there, you filthy humans! Let them go!”

“Kill them! Wipe out every last one!”

The air was thick with shouts and the sounds of battle.

The eldest prince, Fukaboshi, had long since lost himself in the bloodshed, single-handedly dismantling an entire pirate crew.

By now, only a few remained.

Two captured mermaids had already been freed.

But he couldn’t stop.

Faster. Faster. Let me save just one more! Just one more!

Even as he pushed himself to the limit, countless pirates were already escaping with bound mermaids in tow.

Every fish-man fought desperately, but the sheer number of enemies made it impossible to stop them all. For every pirate cut down, two more took their place.

King Neptune was drenched in sweat, frantic.

And the pirates who had already escaped—those who had made it outside the island’s protective bubble—only added insult to injury, jeering at the fish-men below.

“HAHAHA! I bagged five! What’re you gonna do about it, huh? Let’s move out, boys! Time to live like kings!”

A scar-faced pirate even had the gall to mock them, shaking his backside at the furious fish-men.

The guards seethed, their eyes burning with rage.

But with so many still in danger, they couldn’t afford to chase after him.

The five captured mermaids could only watch in despair as their captors prepared to sail away.

But just as the pirate barked orders to set sail—

A blue, rotund figure appeared above them, poised for an over-the-shoulder throw.

“Kairyu Ipponzeoi!”

With Jinbe’s roar, the water itself seemed to morph into a massive hand.

In an instant, it crashed down onto the pirate ship.

The coating bubble shattered first.

Well… there was no “next.”

The moment the bubble burst, the crushing depths did the rest.

The ship—and every pirate aboard—was instantly flattened into scrap.

A brief silence fell over the battlefield.

Jinbe swam forward, cutting the mermaids free.

“It’s Boss Jinbe! He’s back!”

Someone below recognized him, and the fish-men’s morale skyrocketed.

“KILL THEM ALL!”

With Jinbe now in the fight, the tide turned completely.

Pirates fell like dominoes.

A few still slipped through the cracks, but they were no longer a real threat.

For every pirate that fled, another fell.

But soon, even the arrivals began to dwindle.

Because on the surface, news had begun to spread.

The Strongest Man in the World—Edward Newgate, Captain of the Whitebeard Pirates—was alive!
