Chapter 1028: Chapter 1028: Zeus, the Busy Field Medic and Battlefield Firefighter

"Did you find it? Did you find it?"

"Nothing yet!"

"Keep looking!"

"..."

A group of people were frantically searching the Mirror World for a specific mirror. Even as some were blown away by raging hurricanes or crushed by sudden, falling debris, they disregarded their own lives in their desperate search.

Br?lée carefully hugged the wall, casting nervous glances back at the world-destroying scene behind her. Noble Croc guarded her back, acting as her escort; after all, if this lady were to collapse, there would be no coming back from it.

"Br?lée-sama, we found it!"

Suddenly, a cry of surprise from nearby brightened Br?lée’s face. She rushed over, dodging several large, flying chunks of rubble along the way.

A group of people had gathered around a square mirror about half a meter high, buzzing with incoherent chatter.

"Br?lée-sama is here!"

Someone shouted, and the group hurriedly turned, looking at Br?lée with concern.

"Which location does this mirror lead to?" Br?lée asked, stepping forward and pushing aside those standing in front of the glass.

"It’s a mirror from inside one of the Germa ships. It looks like the vanity mirror in Reiju-sama’s room! But..."

"Yes, it’s Reiju’s room. But what?"

Br?lée’s witch-like face revealed a hint of surprise. She looked at the hesitant man, then turned her gaze toward the mirror. The glass reflected the other side: a massive pink room, though it was currently in total chaos. Cabinets were toppled, the large bed was displaced, and the floor was littered with shattered brick and stone. A wall had been blown open, leaving a hole over two meters in diameter that offered a view of the sea outside.

Br?lée stared, dumbfounded. Through that hole in the wall, she could see a fierce naval battle raging in the waters outside Unzan Port. The surface of the sea was cluttered with ship debris and wreckage.

She even witnessed a crumbling Germa 66 snail-ship, pummeled by a barrage of heavy shells, its hull riddled with holes and engulfed in raging, sky-high flames before it began to sink slowly into the abyss.

Gulp.

Br?lée swallowed hard. It was the first time she had witnessed such a tragic sea battle.

"Quick! You lot, get out there! Report what you’ve seen and find out the status of the battle outside!" Br?lée immediately signaled a few of them to leave and gather intelligence.

Meanwhile, the clash between Aeridar and Big Mom raged on. Without the aid of Prometheus and Zeus, Big Mom stood no chance against an Aeridar capable of Future Sight; she was forced into a purely defensive position.

It must be said: unless the gap in power is insurmountable, Future Sight is truly a "God-tier" technique.

"Airquake!!!"

Aeridar roared as he threw a punch. Dozens of cracks instantly spiderwebbed across the air. The terrifying power of the vibration erupted, shattering the ground before him and sending a wave of dust rapidly surging forward.

Rumble—!

Charlotte Linlin was struck by the overwhelming vibration, her internal organs trembling violently. She nearly vomited blood as the ground beneath her disintegrated, spawning long, spiderweb-like fissures.

"Tough as nails, isn’t she?"

Aeridar frowned, looking at his opponent. While his mastery over vibration didn’t quite match Whitebeard’s, the durability of this old hag’s "Iron Body" truly exceeded human limits.

Back on Whole Cake Island, he had used his Float-Float Fruit to simulate a "Planetary Devastation," wrapping Big Mom in tons of earth and stone to form a massive meteorite, launching it thousands of meters into the sky before letting it plummet. That was the only way he had managed to severely wound her.

But not long after, this woman had come chasing after him, full of murderous intent, as if those injuries were nothing at all. She was a monster among monsters.

"Dammit! You bastard! I’ll kill you—!"

Charlotte Linlin roared, eyes bloodshot. She couldn’t believe she was being driven into such a pathetic state by this brat. She knew that even against Kaido, Red-Haired Shanks, or Whitebeard himself, she had never been pushed this far.

In an instant, she swung her blade in a fury. A terrifying sword-wind tore through the air. Aeridar had no intention of tanking it and soared directly into the air to evade.

Swoosh!

Rumble—!

Over a dozen massive pillars and several snake-like staircases were severed mid-section. The top halves crashed down, kicking up clouds of dust that reached the sky.

Boom, boom, boom, boom...

Suddenly, dozens of lightning bolts descended from the heavens, chasing Aeridar through the air in a wild, frantic barrage. Thunder roared incessantly as debris flew; the ground below was blasted into a scorched, crater-filled wasteland.

"That troublesome Zeus!"

Aeridar’s brow furrowed, and with a soft pop, he vanished into thin air.

Seeing the target disappear, the massive black cloud in the sky slowly descended.

"Zeus!"

Charlotte Linlin cried out in surprise, then snarled, "Find that bastard and blast him to hell!"

"Yes, Mama!"

Zeus replied, glancing around nervously, terrified of being punched into the distance again.

"Ah—!"

Suddenly, a shrill, miserable scream tore through the sky, drawing the attention of both Linlin and Zeus.

They saw the giant, sun-like fireball in the high altitude being slashed by a massive flame giant, its body shrinking visibly from the impact.

"Damn it! Zeus, go help Prometheus!"

Charlotte Linlin’s face darkened. Their opponent, the Fire God Zhurong, was a construct created by a Devil Fruit ability similar to her own Homies. Normally, it should have been on par with Prometheus, but after Zhurong consumed the Flame-Flame Fruit (Logia), its power had surpassed Prometheus’s.

It was clear now that Prometheus couldn’t hold out alone; Zeus and Prometheus had to join forces.

Otherwise, if Zhurong finished off Prometheus, she would have to send Zeus to block him anyway. Even if she won in the end, losing a high-level Homie wasn’t worth it. Better to send Zeus to support now; he might even turn the tide.

However, with only Napoleon left at her side, it would be difficult to force a breakthrough.

"Understood, Mama!"

Knowing the gravity of the situation, Zeus flew toward the high altitude.

Simultaneously, Zeus’s body crackled with intense electricity. With a thunderous crack-boom, he unleashed several bolts of lightning, shattering the Fire God Zhurong’s flaming body in a single exchange.

"Another one, eh? Thundercloud Zeus!"

A deep, rumbling voice echoed in the sky. Great swathes of raging flame converged, reconstructing the body of the fire giant. It brandished its sword of flame and hacked down fiercely.

"Sword of the Fire God!!!"

"THUNDER!!!"

Zeus’s body erupted in blinding, dazzling electric light. A thick pillar of lightning surged straight into the heavens, illuminating half of the Mirror World.
