"We defeated about ten of them already but the hidden achievement is yet to appear. Is reducing the coldness of the area really the case?" Adrian pondered.

"Is it my time to shine once again?" Apolaki asked.

"Kanlaon, increase the temperature of the entire floor. Just make it at least above zero." Adrian commanded as they were just testing anyways.

"As the master wishes." Kanlaon replied.

Kanlaon then proceeded to go in the air and all six of his dragon orbs slowly fused with the Flame Dragon Orb. Instead of becoming six different elements combined, the other five elements actually increased the power of the Flame Dragon Orb. It became a hot ball of fire instead of a sun as what was needed is a way to increase the temperature.

The freezing temperature in the dungeon floor started to rise and the things hidden in the icy terrain appeared. Three more Frigid Deep Scaled Worm that were definitely hiding popped out. It seems that these Frigid Deep Scaled Worm will never appear as they were definitely in a state of hibernation.

"There seems to be more. We already went to that area earlier and nothing came out but it seems the sudden shift in temperature have forced them to come out. Let us deal with them then." Adrian stated as all of them faced the three Frigid Deep Scaled Worm that came out.

Since they have already gotten the hang on dealing with the Frigid Deep Scaled Worm, they instantly knew what needed to be done as soon as one appears. Since there were three Frigid Deep Scaled Worm, Apolaki, Tala, and Maya were the ones that moved to disable the monsters from using a screech. They do not want to fall into a daze after all and one would surely die if someone cannot defend themselves when three Frigid Deep Scaled Worm are present.

Apolaki threw his blade into the mouth of one of the Frigid Deep Scaled Worm to make it choke. The Frigid Deep Scaled Worm became unable to screech and could only cough up blood. This made it easy for Adrian and his soulbounds to bind the one that Apolaki has dealt with.

Maya changed her bows form to a larger variety and filled the mouth of the Frigid Deep Scaled Worm as soon as she could see an opening. She actually filled it with arrows that exploded with moonlight that the Frigid Deep Scaled Worm thrashed about in pain. It took some time to bind the Frigid Deep Scaled Worm that she dealt with as it wriggled in pain all over the place.

Tala has a different approach as she and Bunn Bunn created a perfect synergy. When the Frigid Deep Scaled Worm was about to release a screech, Bunn Bunn held his shield tightly and Tala used that as footing to be launched upwards. With a flying kick that hit the lower jaw of the Frigid Deep Scaled Worm, the screech was interrupted and Bunn Bunn jumped high to ram the shield on the upper jaw of the enemy to seal it shut.

[Your party has cleared all of the Frigid Deep Scaled Worm.]

[You have successfully cleared the fourth floor of this dungeon.]

[A hidden achievement has been completed. You will be rewarded by a Dungeon Buff.]

[There are existing Dungeon Buffs that have been detected but they are also from the same dungeon. The new buff can be stacked with the existing dungeon buffs.]

[Dungeon Buff: Strike with Patience has been given to all members of the party.]

[Strike with Patience: Increases damage by 10% for the duration of the dungeon raid. All beings that have this buff will gain a counter called Patience that stacks up to ten stacks. Each stack can be gained when the holder does not deal damage for a second. When stacks reach ten, gain 20% critical damage and a guaranteed critical strike.]

"A buff that could literally turn the tide of battle as it is a guaranteed critical strike. Although the ten second no damage timer is present, it should be doable for monsters that do not attack recklessly. The fact that a guaranteed critical strike buff has been given has raised my confidence but also made it clear that the boss monster is nothing to scoff at." Adrian stated.

"We will cross that bridge when we get there. Let us just go to the next floor." Apolaki stated as there was no use speculating now.

"I need to recover some of my energy first. I used a lot when dealing with the multiple enemies." Adrian stated as they rested for a few minutes before heading deeper.

All of them were now heading to the fifth floor but they noticed something different compared to the others. The fifth-floor entrance is not a cavern but a sealed gate which means either of two things. Either there would be a dungeon transition or this would be the boss monster that they would be facing. There were no traps near the door which means they need to push it open in order to see what is inside.

"Are all of you ready?" Adrian asked.

"Ready." The other three nodded even though they are now feeling excited and pressured at the same time.

Adrian pushed the door and all of them got swallowed by darkness without any chance to resist. Even Adrian felt his body go stiff which means that this might be some sort of a predetermined condition. All of them only regained their vision after five seconds as they were transported to another location which does not resemble a cavern at all.

They were transported to a place that looks like a floating stone platform where an altar is placed at the middle of it. They were transported to the far side of the stone platform which is a distance away from the center where the altar is located. The four of them could not move or control their bodies as if the system was moving them on their own.

All four of them finally stood up and the stone platform suddenly ignited on the edges. The entire stone platform that was dark suddenly became slightly visible. The altar at the center of the stone platform also lit up as it revealed a head of some sort. The head seems to be that of a monster with four horns protruding from the sides while also having numerous rows of sharp teeth.

The head that could be seen like an inanimate object suddenly burned in flames but it was not actually turning into ash at all. Instead, the head actually opened its eyes that were hollow sockets of nothingness. When the head opened its eyes, the flames that were burning it were all sucked inside the sockets.

The flames then slowly formed into eyes for the head while also maintaining the aesthetic that it is still flames. When the flames became the eyes, the head that was just there on the altar suddenly started to float. The head then proceeded to look around its surroundings and only stopped when Adrian and his party was spotted.

When the head looked directly at them, the force that was hindering their bodies suddenly vanished. The head then released a powerful screech that reverberated throughout the entire stone platform. The screech was so loud that it can actually deal damage to Adrian and the others.

[You have the Clear Mind Buff. You have not been affected by the mental effects of the Disastrous Shriek.]

The head did not stop releasing its horrifying scream but Adrian and the others were not going to just let it keep going. Adrian immediately commanded Sirius to make the head stop releasing such ear deafening attack. Sirius moved through the shadows and released a trail of shadow spikes that traversed its way towards the head.

The head did not move away despite the attack being seen because it has a powerful barrier that actually repelled the shadow spikes. The attack did not even reach the head monster at all and it even released more screaming instead. Even if the head monster did not get damaged by Sirius, Adrian managed to get something out of that exchange.

"The torches! They are connected to the barrier that is protecting that head monster!" Adrian shouted as he pointed at the torches that burned at the corners of the stone platform.

Upon hearing what Adrians said, the rest of them moved into action. Sirius took care of two torches and Kanlaon also took care of another two. Charon destroyed three at the same time while Apolaki, Tala and Maya destroyed one each. When the torches were all destroyed, Adrian summoned his bow armament and released powerful arrows to pierce the head monster.

Seeing that it was no longer protected by the barrier, the head monster could only try to dodge but it was sluggish. The arrows that Adrian used were all coated with chaos energy as well which made other debuffs flare up. Only when Adrian hit the head monster did he know what they were up against.
