Chapter 3021: The Movement of the Titans

Adrian managed to escape from the jaws of death in under a few seconds. The rift also closed immediately and all of them were sent to the nearest island where both Altum and Renyu waited. When the monsters arrived first, Altum and Renyu thought that they would be fighting them but they soon got a message that they were enslaved monsters by evil people he randomly found.

"I got to say... the guild leader does have such colorful ways of transportation." Renyu stated as the monsters were wary of them but they did not attack since they were told that they were companions of those that save them.

It did not take long for Adrian to appear before the rift as it closed and his transformation is already undone. All of his soulbounds have returned to his soul chamber and Adrian returned to his normal form. The monsters were suddenly faced with an unknown being before them because they knew that their savior was an undead. Adrian then explained to the monsters that it was just a form he took when he is fused with his soulbound.

Adrian explained that he was a summoner and even summoned Saena to release a powerful healing wind and light to recover the bodies of the injured. The monsters finally became calm but those that were putting up a brave front have all collapsed. It seems that they could now rest their bodies as they finally know that they are safe.

"What the heck! How did that become unnoticed?! Still, there were no such boats that sail the seas before. The gods of the oceans and seas abhor sea beasts becoming bound by mortals. They would have been capsized by a wave or something." Renyu stated with fury.

"If that is the case then it must have been recent. The only explanation is that it happened when the Titan of the Ocean Oceanus has suddenly become secluded. I did encounter their boat in his ocean before it sailed towards the Sea of Monsters. The two things could not be unrelated as this is too much of a coincidence." Adrian stated.

"If that is the case then I can ask to the other merchants of the sea if they encountered them previously. The swimming speed of a sea beast sends ripples through the water which means those swimming under will notice it. Kind of like when an airplane flies over us in the real world." Renyu stated.

"Thanks, Renyu. I appreciate the help and make sure to order Altum around if you need anything." Adrian stated as he suddenly made Altum a lackey for Renyu.

"Hey! I should be the leader for the Underwater Corps of the Pantheon Guild!" Altum stated but Adrian just laughed it off.

"Anyways, the others would like to meet you. Make sure to come to the guild house after three days as everyone is dying to meet you. Some of them are even your fans and Gourmet would love to cook for you. He said that a drop of mermaid blood could actually neutralize his curse for a few hours which means his dishes would be delicious." Adrian stated as he proceeded to send the monsters back to their respective habitats.

"We have a cursed guild member?" Renyu asked Altum in shock.

"Not just ’a’. We have cursed guild members. It is actually not uncommon if you ask me." Altum replied as both of them returned to the ocean to report their findings to the underwater royalty.

Meanwhile, the Grand Mage Fanatic could be seen to have been transported to a hidden cave carved in a cliff near the sea. This was the predetermined location that he marked as a teleport point. The only problem is that his teleportation spells are not good. He shaves off a piece of his soul per each teleportation since it is not like the teleportation spell that the demons use.

"That blasted monsters! I will remember this! A large black wolf and an undead sorcerer! Then again, they surely have died with those pathetic mortals. I made sure to release the runes that prevented Charybdis from detecting the underground cavern." The Grand Mage Fanatic shouted as his body could be seen injured and blood seeped from his eyes and nose.

The strain of teleportation is not something even his enhanced body could handle. He twisted the laws of the world using runes but twisting space is of the highest arcane magic. The only ones that could truly twist space without repercussions are the demons. Even short ranged teleportation needs large amounts of mana if they are not a demon.

The Grand Mage Fanatic believes that he managed to kill those monsters and cleaned up the area. Even if the movement of Charybdis was unusual and it would summon investigation from all underwater kingdoms, the destruction of the underground cavern was priority. If the gods of the oceans and seas find it then they would definitely search for him through the ends of the earth.

"After all, the ore that we were mining was a spine of a fallen titan. Too bad we can no longer harvest it as everything should have collapsed but that would be better instead of others benefitting from it. I have already gotten some insight in creating the gate to Tartarus. The sudden teleportation here made me get inspiration but I would need souls of living beings and not just monsters." The Grand Mage Fanatic stated as he proceeded to contact the other acolytes.

In Tartarus, the Titans that were being watched made sure that they were moving as they were ever since a thousand years ago. They made sure that their act will not be exposed as they already have a link to the mortal realm. All of them just needed to think to send messages unlike the attempts that they did before. Having partnered up with the God of Mischief Loki was a great idea for them but it did make their movements limited when he died.

"As long as there are no observed violations, the Olympian Gods will never be able to use the Laws of Tartarus to hurt us. Also, it seems one of our Doulos have found a breakthrough in creating a gate to link Tartarus to the mortal realm. If his research is supported by me and the others, we might be able to break free faster." The Titan Coeus reported to the Titan King Kronus.

"I guess it is a good thing that the lady of darkness is still not in her own castle. It was a good thing that she was injured in the prior battles before the Titanomachy. If she were still here then she would have already seen our planning and would have told the Olympians that we were planning to break free from this prison." The Titan King Kronus stated.

The lady of darkness that the Titan King Kronus was talking about is none other than the Goddess of Night Nyx. The goddess that is married to the God of Death Abaddon and she was still resting in the Nether Realm. She has left her domain in order to focus on healing herself which also means that she no longer watched the Titans compared to before.

"She basically controlled Tartarus when she was here in her recuperation. Thank goodness that her injury flared up and she needed to leave to another realm." The Titan Coeus stated.

"You should not be glad that her injury flared up because that also meant that the distorted god that injured her has woken up as well. Then again, that distorted god should be in the same state as her which means it is also unable to move for now." The Titan King Kronus stated.

"What are our plans for the next phase?" The Titan King Kronus then asked the Titan Coeus as the latter is the advisor.

"Since one of our forces have found a way to create an artificial gate, we should tell them to lay low for a few months. Make sure to change the hunt for us towards the Apostles of Typhon. They are the best smokescreen to make ensure that the Olympians change their attention on us. The Olympians are not stupid which is why the God of Death Hades kept descending to Tartarus to check on us." The Titan Coeus stated.

"Go with that. In fact, we can have some of our slaves to even aid those Apostles of Typhon. If Typhon actually emerges from his seal, then he would do my job of destroying Olympus. I would not need to fight against my children. Taking down Typhon is not difficult for me after all." The Titan King Kronus stated as he knows that he could kill Typhon as only the Olympians will prove a hurdle for him because of his determined fate.

"I shall do the preparations that you have said, my lord. I also believed Typhon becoming unsealed will bring us great benefits." The Titan Coeus replied.
