Omega Summoner

Chapter 3020: They Actually Fled

  • Next Chapter

The Grand Mage Fanatic suddenly called Adrian a monster when he clearly is not. If the others actually heard what the Grand Mage Fanatic said then all of his friends would have nodded their head in agreement. If that happened then maybe some mental damage would hit Adrian but it was a good thing that they were not there.

The Grand Mage Fanatic could be seen injured by Adrian’s attack but it was not to the point that he could not move anymore. The Grand Mage Fanatic still looked sturdy when the attack pierced through the barriers he applied to himself. What Adrian found strange is that the blood that the Grand Mage Fanatic coughed up was not red but black. This meant that they were no longer human entirely but a different race that only looks human.

Adrian did not let the Grand Mage Fanatic catch a breath as him and Sirius charged without catching their breath. They knew that they needed to deal with the Grand Mage Fanatic while his barriers were down. The Grand Mage Fanatic had other things in mind though as he already felt the killing intent from the two of them.

"Damn, monsters! I shall bury all of you here!" The Grand Mage Fanatic shouted as runes exploded everywhere.

Adrian felt that the entire area suddenly started to detonate with magic power because of the runes and all of it was due to the Grand Mage Fanatic. The one using the spell even sacrificed all of his mana and health which meant that he was preparing to make everything explode. Even the acolytes and pirates that were his allies were panicking as they were running towards the docks where the sea beast boats were.

"Runes of Ruin!" The Grand Mage Fanatic shouted fanatically as a powerful blinding light exploded in the entire area that was marked as his territory.

The Grand Mage Fanatic clearly lost it and Adrian did not want to try the theory if he can block this attack by himself. Adrian released chains to try and block the impact but it was too slow. Sirius knew that the only way for the other monsters to be safe is for them to be stuck in his shadow which is why he no longer attacked the Grand Mage Fanatic.

Adrian instructed Sirius to save all of the monsters that were present. All of the monsters suddenly got absorbed in his shadow while Adrian also did his share and took some into a pocket dimension inside his fused body with Charon. The Grand Mage Fanatic suddenly exploded with a powerful blast of mana and also released a powerful burst of light.

Sirius vanished into his shadow while Adrian sucked his body inside the special pocket dimension that Charon has. The entire cave suddenly exploded in a pure burst of light that felt like it was not harmful but it was very deadly. The runes basically got overcharged and exploded with full power which made all of the acolytes and pirates caught in it to turn into smoke.

The ones that were lucky enough to survive were in the other parts of the cavern but the Grand Mage Fanatic did not let them off as well. All of the pirates that were still alive had all of their heads explode into mush. The Grand Mage Fanatic activated the failsafe that he had installed inside of the pirates should they rebel or he no longer needs them.

When Adrian and Sirius emerged back to the cavern with the other monsters, all of the acolytes and the pirates were already dead. There were no signs of life at all except for those they have saved. The most important thing is that the Grand Mage Fanatic actually fled instead of dying. The enemy that was incredibly proud is now gone while all of his accomplices are now dead.

Even the ones that escaped towards the Sea Beast Boats were dead. The Sea Beasts boats in particular looked like the deck exploded and took the life of the sea beasts that carried it. Everything inside the cavern that has a life were either dead or self-destructed.

"Check on the room!" Adrian thought as Sirius immediately blitzed away on command as he was faster than Adrian.

Sirius reached the room where the cursed totem was and told Adrian the truth. The Grand Mage Fanatic’s notes were all destroyed and the entire room is now burning. Adrian did not burn the room when he left there but there were signs of an explosion but not enough to create a fire. This meant that the Grand Mage Fanatic has destroyed all of the papers there.

"It is fine. Put out the fire because I can just reverse time to recover them." Adrian commanded when a ringing suddenly erupted from the walls of the cavern. All of the monsters could not endure the loud ringing sound and covered their ears as they dropped to their knees.

In the deep abyss near the underground cavern, a large being that was supposed to be sleeping suddenly became alert. It was supposed to be peacefully sleeping but a sudden ringing or hum has awoken it and amplified its rage. The monster that should have not been woken has come to the source of that unbearable sound.

Adrian then looked at the walls covered in runes that activated after a few minutes since the Grand Mage Fanatic left. He promptly destroyed the runes with a swing of his scythe but he suddenly felt something dangerous is homing in. A loud and powerful scream that reached the caverns erupted from the waters beside them.

"That fanatic!" Adrian shouted as he exercised all of his energy into his scythe and cleaved space directly.

"Everyone! Leave through here now! Enter it if you want to live!" Adrian commanded as all of the monsters that were kneeling looked at each other before they all agreed.

The monsters all felt a powerful pressure from the being before them as he stinks of death but they also knew that this was the one that saved them from the Grand Mage Fanatic. If a powerful monster says that they needed to leave and they were not killed while being warned then they should comply. Monsters know to always bow down to those stronger than them after all.

"Leave now! Charybdis is coming! Carry all of the weakened ones and escape through the rift!" Adrian commanded with the fill charisma of a summoner.

All of the monsters that were hesitant suddenly became compelled by some force and did what Adrian has commanded them of. All of the ones that were passed out or severely injured were all taken through the rift. The only problem that Adrian thinks right now is how long will this underground cavern last against the might of a primordial beast of the sea.

"Sirius! Forget the room! We need to run away!" Adrian commanded as he made sure that all of the monsters here were all accounted before he also enters the rift.

Adrian wanted to think of happy thought that the monster that should not have been aware of them is still unaware but that was only wishful thinking. A piercing shriek of numerous horrors reverberated all throughout the underground cavern. The entire cavern then proceeded to shake as if an earthquake was hitting it but it was actually the Primordial Sea Beast Charybdis.

"That gigantic sea loach actually came here! That Grand Mage Fanatic really planned to destroy this place once it was no longer usable. He no longer plans to have this place be salvaged anymore despite having those ores still present!" Adrian stated as the water that did not breach the underground cavern started to spill in because of the cracks.

"We have no time for this! Sirius!" Adrian shouted as he gave a command to Sirius via the soul link.

Chains exploded from Adrian’s body as he picked up the monsters that were slow and decided to toss them towards the rift. Sirius also did the same as what his master was doing but using shadows. Thankfully, only those that were still healthy were the last ones as they were the ones that helped carry the fainted and weak ones.

Just as Adrian and Sirius were about to enter the rift, a large monster with sharp rows of teeth and numerous tentacled whiskers broke through the cavern. The Primordial Sea Beast Charybdis devoured half of the cavern with one swing of its body since it could not be bothered to crack it. It seems that the Grand Mage Fanatic also placed runes outside the cavern which made the Primordial Sea Beast Charybdis attack it.

"This is why I really hate meticulous people! Temporal Freeze!" Adrian muttered as he shouted the last sentence.

Time suddenly stopped for Adrian as he then grabbed Sirius using the chains and stuffed him inside of the special pocket dimension. He then proceeded to resume time and enter the rift. The Primordial Sea Beast Charybdis actually attempted to eat Adrian but the rift closed before it did.
