Chapter 2820: The Fate of the First III

[You must accept the Creation Relic: Eye of Chaos in order to proceed with the quest.]

“We accept the burden that is entrusted upon us.” Adrian replied as this is the only way to proceed with the quest.

They only needed to deliver the relic to the given location where it will be protected by Asmodians and an Eden Guardian. The plan that the Asmodian High Council created is to entrust the creation relics that remained to the next most powerful beings in the world. The Eden Guardians are also heavily guarded by the Asmodians since the core dragon veins are located in their sanctuaries after all.

The place where they were told to go is a location called the Grove of Mist where the most powerful Eden Guardian is located. The Asmodian High Council wants the Daemos Creation Relic to be absolutely safe as the power contained in it is different from other creation relics. If another being is able to control the creation relic of the Daemos then they will gain the ability to control time, space, and force.

Creation Relics are tied to the race that they can create after all and that also extends to the energy that they need. The Daemos Creation Relic has origin energy inside of it in large degrees. If one is able to tame the creation relic then they are able to control the energy inside of it as well. They would be akin to a master of the magic wielded by that race hence the Asmodian High Council needs the most discreet couriers to smuggle the creation relic away.

The Asmodian High Council tasked Telos and his friends with this task as they believe that they are the best for the job. The three of them will also be inconspicuous and will not alert the other enemy gods. Telos might have been given a name but he did not really stand out when it comes to personal combat. He rarely showed off feats of power hence he is not on the high priority target list of the enemies.

Boulder might be a powerful Asmodian Diabolon on his own right but he has yet to also gain outstanding military achievements as he is young. Bloom is also more on the administrative side which is why she is not well known by the enemy. Still, the abilities of Boulder and Bloom could be equated to the elites of their generation which is why they are also perfect companions for Telos.

The enemy gods will not even think it is strange that Telos, Boulder, and Bloom are together as they have been friends for a long time. Even if there is a spy that looks at them, they will be able to easily prevent suspicion. Numerous teams have been deployed to move the four creation relics and their copies which will create confusion for a time which is why haste is the essence of this operation.

“Thank you, young heroes. May all of you return safe and that victory be on our side.” The Asmodian High Council members stated as they and the gods have not lost hope since the Gods of Victory are still alive.

“We will do or best… no… we will push ourselves to make sure that the relic is safe.” Adrian stated as he is given a bracelet that has a subspace inside of it where the Eye of Chaos is locked away.

[In order to clear the Final Instance, you must arrive at the designated location within three days.]

“Let us go.” Adrian stated as they exited the war council room and headed straight towards one of Telos’ secret bunkers.

“So, what is the plan?” Boulder asked.

“I was hoping we could use teleportation. You are with us which means teleportation is a solid option.” Adrian stated as this is the best option.

“Unfortunately, we have a big problem with that. Teleportation is not viable.” Boulder stated which made Adrian frown.

“Why? Did something happen that made it impossible?” Adrian asked.

“The death of the Gods of Time and Space has made the entire world volatile. Some of the Daemos are currently fixing it but there is too much noise as we can describe it. I can try to teleport but we might end up in a different area or directly at the enemy base. The only stable way to teleport is the gates that were created by the elders themselves. I… I am sorry.” Boulder stated as he then remembered that he might offend Telos as one of those elders was his deceased father after all.

“Sorrow is to be saved for later because the world itself is heading to ruin because of the invasion. We go the old-fashioned way then as we can reach the destination in two days with soulbounds.” Adrian stated as he summoned his soulbounds.

Adrian summoned a large bird that has feathers made of extremely durable metal. A bird monster that can only be described as being able to grow large enough to devour the sun and the moon. Adrian summoned one of the five soulbounds that Telos has and this one is Mino that is now a Minokawa. This is the griffon that Telos had earlier when he ascended and it is now a pure divine beast that is yet to ascend to a higher divinity.

“Wow! Mino has become so large that he could devour a baby Cetacea in one bite. He is still in the Lesser God state, right? If Mino become a High God state, then it might really be able to devour the sun and the moon along with other worlds.” Bloom stated as she found a way to introduce a new topic since the previous one created a gloomy atmosphere.

“I hope so. If that happens then even gods will not be able to stand in my way.” Adrian or rather Telos spoke through him as this is what the latter wants to make true.

“Fly to the designated location, Mino.” Adrian stated as he transmitted the coordinates to his four-winged divine bird.

One would think that the passengers flying on a high-speed bird would have difficulty but they never had. Mino could control the wind pressure that is affecting its body and it is basically negating all of it. The wind pressure is non-existent because the Minokawa are master of the wind where the winds itself bow down to them. If they are said to devour stars when fully grown then something like wind will never bother them.

Even if Mino did not negate the air pressure, Adrian could summon for the Wind Elemental King to prevent them from being affected. The entire flight is a bit awkward as both Boulder and Bloom could not create a conversation because they know that their friend is in grief. They did not know what he was feeling because Telos’ parents were very loving and that love also extended to them as friends.

Both Boulder and Bloom also felt grief as they were treated as if they were also a son and a daughter. In fact, for Boulder and Bloom, they would not be as in pain if their real parents died since they were shown lack of affection growing up. Arhizo and Iremia were so loving to them and treated them like family which is why they also did not know what to feel right now. If the world was not falling apart right now then all three of them would have been pouring their hearts out and crying.

“Te… Incoming!” Boulder shouted as instantly changed to his true form and destroyed the lump of distorted magic energy that homed in on them.

Boulder was able to defend against the attack but the shockwave created a rebound that slammed them downwards. Mino managed to recover quickly and take off once more which prevented them from crashing onto the ground. Adrian looked around but there was nothing around them but destroyed trees and ground. They were flying at the speed of sound which means that only those on the level of an Apostle and a god can strike them.

“Are you fine?! I can heal you!” Bloom stated as she released a calming light towards Boulder that regrouped with them.

Boulder could be seen injured but not to a great extend but it could be seen that he is not unscathed. Boulder is all bloodied up which meant that the attack he tanked is something that even made his own defenses weak. Boulder is not one to be easily affected by magical spells as he tempered his body to the highest degree which meant that only Mythical and above spells can harm him.

“Oh! It seems that the information was not wrong at all. They did have one of these routes as a path they will move in.” A female voice stated but that voice is also twisted since four voices with different octaves spoke at the same time.
