Chapter 2766: Ragnarok IV

With the demons now engaged in battle, they cannot give reinforcements to the army below. The gods of war and justice along with their followers are now on their own. They need to battle with the Titan of Ice and Mischief Loki by themselves but he was not the only one there. The Fomorians, the Asuras and even the revived World Serpent Jormungandr is still present.

The gods of war and justice knew that they could not be on the defensive forever but they are at least supported by the northern armies. The armies from all of the northern villages, towns, and kingdoms came together to resist the Titan of Ice and Mischief Loki. They were initially there to resist the Asgardian army and defeat the God King Odin but the essence is still the same.

“Do you think that you can defeat a titan?!” The Titan of Ice and Mischief Loki stated as he suddenly released a powerful roar that froze the entire area in front of him.

If not for the Ice Queen Elona that came to the battle, then the northern army would have been frozen to death. The Titan of Ice and Mischief Loki noticed her but he also learned that even she could not withstand the coldness of the ice that he released. For the first time in a long time, the Ice Queen Elona actually felt cold. Usually, she is the one making others feel cold but the power of the Titan of Ice and Mischief Loki transcended her body that should be immune to the cold.

“Even the famed Ice Queen Elona cannot stop me! All of you die!” The Titan of Ice and Mischief Loki shouted as he created a large club made of ice and slammed it towards the direction of the Ice Queen Elona.

Just as the ice club is about to descend, the God of War Ares burst into hot flames as his aura burned brighter when war is raging. He then released chains that also burst into flames which actually melted the ice that the Titan of Ice and Mischief Loki created. The Titan of Ice and Mischief Loki are a bit shocked that the God of War Ares managed to counter his created weapon made of divine ice but the former remembered that the God of War Ares is part of the Olympians.

The Olympians are the gods that are descendants of the Titan race or rather the Titan King Kronus. This also meant that they were born to contend with the Titans and have the power to resist them. The most powerful threat to the Titan of Ice and Mischief Loki now is the God of War Ares but if the latter dies then the former will be free to rampage as he likes.

“I always wanted killing a god of war! You lot always boasts that you are the strongest fighting force amongst the gods. I shall kill the most powerful god of war to show the world how pitifully weak you really are!” The Titan of Ice and Mischief Loki shouted as he started the battle with the Titan of Ice and Mischief Loki.

The Titan of Ice and Mischief Loki knew that his range attacks are impossible to hit the God of War Ares because the Ice Queen Elona was supporting the latter. When he is about to go near the God of War Ares, the Goddess of Justice Nemesis would cut in and then help ward off the Titan of Ice and Mischief Loki. The synergy of the two beings made it difficult for the Titan of Ice and Mischief Loki to defeat the God of War Ares.

The chains of fire would manifest around the God of War Ares and he would use that as attacks against the Titan of Ice and Mischief Loki. The damage might be minimal but the body of the Titan of Ice and Mischief Loki could be seen getting injured. Just the sight of the Titan of Ice and Mischief Loki being injured increases the morale of all the beings allied with the gods of war and justice. It means that even a powerful titan that is said to devour gods can fall.

“Did you really think that you will succeed?!” The Titan of Ice and Mischief Loki shouted as he proceeded to slam the ground.

As soon as the Titan of Ice and Mischief Loki slammed the ground, countless ice spikes were created around him. The ice spikes spread fast to the point that even the gods that excelled in defense were hit aggressively. This prompted the God of War Ares and the Goddess of Justice Nemesis to defend their armies. If the armies fall then the strength of the God of War Ares would also fall.

The Ice Queen Elona also did the same as she tried countering the ice spikes with ice of her own. She created a field where ice would actually stay in a rather higher temperature which means that it will melt. No one would think that the Ice Queen Elona has a magic that could melt ice. She managed to protect the warriors that were around her but it also opened her to danger as her focus shifted.

The Titan of Ice and Mischief Loki looked like he was just standing there but he could actually manifest from the ice that he creates. The first area that he manifested in is none other than the area where the Ice Queen Elona is located. A large frosty hand suddenly reached out towards the Titan of Ice and Mischief Loki.

“Grahh!” The Ice Queen Elona squealed as she did not expect that the Titan of Ice and Mischief Loki could manifest his own hands into the ice.

The Titan of Ice and Mischief Loki that they see at the center of the attack earlier suddenly turned into snow. The real Titan of Ice and Mischief Loki came out of the ice near the Ice Queen Elona with the latter in his hand. The God of War Ares and the Goddess of Justice Elona are stunned as they already knew that the Titan of Ice and Mischief Loki would use the Ice Queen Elona as hostage.

“If you wish to save this hag, surrender to me!” The Titan of Ice and Mischief Loki announced as with he squeezed the Ice Queen Elona with each passing second.

“There are necessary sacrifices in war! Do not bother with me and kill him!” The Ice Queen Elona screamed as she is fine with sacrificing herself as long as they win.

The resolve of the Ice Queen Elona resonated with the gods but they did not want to sacrifice such a powerful ally that can stop the attacks of the Titan of Ice and Mischief Loki. Just as the two gods were making a decision, a large blizzard suddenly came crashing towards the Titan of Ice and Mischief Loki. From the large blizzard, a large hammer that is crafted in molted rock from beneath the ground slammed the hand of the Titan of Ice and Mischief Loki.

“ARGGHHH!” The Titan of Ice and Mischief Loki exclaimed in shock as he did not feel the killing intent.

The Ice Queen Elona is suddenly released from the grip of the Titan of Ice and Mischief Loki and was caught by another being that is almost the same size of the latter. A large giant that is as cold as ice but a body that magma also flows. The Divine Blacksmith Aurgelmir has unleased his full potential to join in the fight or rather to save the Ice Queen Elona.

“A chance!” The God of War Ares and the Goddess of Justice Nemesis thought as they charged towards the Titan of Ice and Mischief Loki.

“A Jotunn actually dares to embarrass me! I am your king as well!” The Titan of Ice and Mischief Loki shouted as he did not expect a Jotunn will foil his plans.

“I am your ancestor, stinking giant!” Aurgelmir shouted as he threw his hammer towards the Titan of Ice and Mischief Loki and hit the latter in the head.

The flying hammer hitting the head of the Titan of Ice and Mischief Loki made him become dazed. The Titan of Ice and Mischief Loki could not see properly for a moment and that is what the God of War Ares needed. The God of War Ares burned in a fiery flame as his chains bound the Titan of Ice and Mischief Loki by the neck and arms. The Goddess of Justice Nemesis targeted the legs and sliced at the back of the Titan of Ice and Mischief Loki foot which made the latter fall down.

“Let us see you survive from this TITAN!” The God of War Ares shouted as he pulled on the flaming chains as it seared the flesh of the Titan of Ice and Mischief Loki. The God of War Ares plans to decapitate the Titan of Ice and Mischief Loki using his flaming chains and it is actually working.
