Chapter 2661: Four Demonic General Chiyou III

If they do not have synergy like amplifying the abilities of each other, they can at least be pure violence and destroy the enemy with all of their attacks. The combined attacks of all of them hit the body of the God Chiyou directly. The powerful internal energy barrier that he created for himself shattered while his own internal energy shell started to crack again.

The God Chiyou has two layers of protection as there are an outer barrier and an outer shell. The outer barrier is the large barrier protecting him from attacks from a distance. This is made by using his internal energy and expanding it to a dome or sphere shape that is invisible to his enemies. This only appears when something strikes it.

The outer shell of the God Chiyou is different because it is a thin film of internal energy covering his skin directly. It is not as thick as the outer barrier that he can create but it is sturdy enough to tank some hits. The only problem for the God Chiyou now is the fact that even his outer shell is not able to withstand the constant attacks of all four beings at once.

The outer shell that he prided himself that none could reach, even though Adrian killed him once already, is now getting destroyed because of mortals. He admits that the beings before him are different from regular mortals as one can utilize the fiercest form of natural energy, another can use death energy to enhance bullets, one is a summoner that changes his soulbounds to weapons, and the last is a champion of a god that even he does not know about.

The God Chiyou never believed in the word defeat because there are very few beings that had him suffer from it. One of those is the Divine Beast Sun Wukong, the other is the Corrupted Yellow Emperor, and another added to his list is the strange demon that summons calamity level soulbounds. He does not want to add four more beings to the list of beings that have defeated him as that would be embarrassing for a God of War.

“Even if this body breaks down, I will make sure to kill all of you!” The God Chiyou shouted as his entire body exploded with internal energy and it turned red in color.

The God Chiyou’s hair suddenly stood up straight and burst out in interna energy. The internal energy of the God Chiyou took the form of red flames that burned like a fiery aura around his body. It also increased his presence by a lot which made any being that cannot handle gods lose their composure.

The God Chiyou also exploded in internal energy which pushed out all of those that were near him. This made even the heavy Kabrakan get sent flying backwards along with Apolaki. Arsenal lost his soulbound that could turn into a whip as it died from the explosion of internal energy. Silent Ghost’s bullets were all destroyed before it could even reach the body of the enemy.

“He looks like that vintage anime of an alien from a monkey race that I watched.” Arsenal suddenly joked as it was like the transformation of the main character from the vintage anime that he enjoyed as a kid.

“I actually agree.” Silent Ghost replied which surprised Arsenal as he did not think that the silent sniper was an avid vintage anime fan.

“Anime or not. I do not think that our enemy is playing games. His strength suddenly doubled before us. We were already having difficulty fighting against him but he suddenly became stronger.” Apolaki stated which made the God Chiyou smile.

“That is correct!” The God Chiyou stated as he suddenly appeared in front of Apolaki as if the former used instant teleportation.

The God Chiyou then enhanced his fingers with internal energy before flicking Apolaki’s forehead and sending the latter flying towards the rocks. All of them were shocked because they could not even follow the movement of their enemy just now. It was like they were fighting against their guild leader when he was serious. The only problem is that this enemy is out to kill them while their guild leader mainly trains them.

“Arsenal, watch out!” Silent Ghost warned as he vanished because he felt the killing intent of the God Chiyou.

Silent Ghost warned Arsenal because he would be the next target as the former suddenly hid himself. Just as Silent Ghost predicted, he was the real target after Apolaki as the God Chiyou appeared to his location next. The God Chiyou tried to sense Silent Ghost but there was no trace whatsoever which is why he changed his target to Arsenal in an instant.

Thanks for Silent Ghost’s warning, Arsenal managed to summon his soulbound that is a Living Armor. He turned his Living Armor soulbound into an armament and it turned into a very knight looking armor that covered his body. The soulbound covering his body was just in time because the God Chiyou did not waste time as he appeared in front of him.

The God Chiyou filled his fists with internal energy and shot it directly towards the body of Arsenal. Just like Apolaki, Arsenal got sent flying and the distance was greater compared to Apolaki. Fortunately, Arsenal survived the hit as the one that tanked the damage was his Living Armor soulbound. The only problem is that it also sent his living armor soulbound to an incredibly dangerous health level.

The concentrated attack of the God Chiyou managed to lower the health of Arsenal’s Living Armor to 20%. This damage is unprecedented even for him as his Living Armor soulbound has incredibly high physical and magical defense. Even bosses more powerful than him would need at least five hits to destroy it but the God Chiyou would only need two.

“It felt like hitting a wall. Is that your special skill, defender?” The God Chiyou stated as he now looked at Kabrakan as his new target.

The God Chiyou used attacks with incredibly power and all of his seriousness yet the enemies before him did not explode into bloody messes. The reason for that sturdy body is none other than the beast man before him. The aura around that beast man is creating a special attribute that prevents his allies from being killed in an instant or in one shot. The God Chiyou knows of this as there are beings like the beast man before him even in the ranks of the gods.

“You have the trait of a Protector. To think that someone was born with that trait when I killed all of them back when I was a fierce god that won all of his fights.” The God Chiyou stated as he reveled in his past prime.

The God Chiyou then locked his murderous gaze towards Kabrakan before appearing in front of the latter. Unlike the attacks from the other three, the God Chiyou used all four fists this time to attack Kabrakan. The God Chiyou expected his immense attack power to destroy the body of the tank before him but it was the opposite. As soon as he landed his fists on the shields, Kabrakan shifted his own center of gravity to actually absorb the impact of the attack.

The God Chiyou was astounded to see that the beast man before him was not squished by the might of his attack. He could see that the beast man before him is now severely injured because of him but the latter was still standing proudly while blocking the strike. Unbeknownst to the God Chiyou, Kabrakan was already giving his all and is even using the teachings that he learned from the Gurus.

“Feel the energy of Wilde coursing through you. You are the chosen one. Use it and will it to be yours.” Guru Polliwog’s voice echoed in Kabrakan’s ears as he did just that.

It is not just Kabrakan’s own ferocity being collected in his body but also the Wilde Energy of the eastern continent. The God Chiyou suddenly felt a chill on his spine because the beast man that he mocked as cowardly for using shields is now emitting a powerful force that could oppose him. The God Chiyou will not retreat though because retreating is admitting defeat.

“Fists of the God of War!” The God Chiyou shouted as he burned more internal energy and divine energy to create a powerful attack that is aimed directly at Kabrakan.

The fists of the God Chiyou burned in a crimson aura and released a powerful wave of aftershock. The shockwave became so powerful that it destroyed all of the trees in front of him. The earth itself was carved by the attack as well but the God Chiyou felt something amiss. His attack was split into two separate lines while the middle area was left untouched.

“Mountain King Armor: Behemoth!” Kabrakan stated as his armor and shields fused with his hulking body to create an appearance to the great Primordial Beast that rules the land… Behemoth!
