Chapter 2655: Against the Eastern Continent III

“All of us agree as well.” The human Ascendant Immortal stated as the combined gazes of the beasts and the Ascendant Immortals targeted the members of the Dragon Lake Palace.

“Did you really think that we will not be able to stop all of you!? Remember! We are Ryujin!” Grand Master Fu Xi shouted as he transformed into his true form.

All of the Ryujin transformed into their true forms as well and joined in the battle. The battle between the groups became chaotic as the Ryujin created spells that could destroy all elements in the area which proved powerful against their enemies. The only problem is that the number of Ryujin does not surpass the number of enemies.

The warriors of Dragon Lake Palace might be powerful, but they are not invincible. Some were stabbed or hit by a powerful attack from the enemies. Peridot was not allowed to directly participate in the battle, but she was allowed to rescue the injured. She would even intervene if the Ryujin will be dealt a severe blow.

She was there in battle with Levin Cloud at first but both of them learned that they lack healing facilities. In the end, Peridot became a member of the rescue squad while Levin Cloud used his racial skill: Treeborn Healing Paradise. It created a powerful healing forest where all beings will be tended to when they get injured.

The battle has been continuing for all the time that Adrian was asleep, and Levin Cloud has been stuck as a healing forest for two hours already. Even if he has lots of mana and faith to continue the healing process, the strain on his body should be immense. Levin Cloud cannot access his full strength as well since his real body is not near him at the moment.

“This has turned into a war of attrition. We cannot keep up with this, my beloved.” Grand Mistress Nu Wa stated as she was supporting the entire army.

“We must not falter here or else all hope for the eastern continent shall be gone in smoke.” Grand Master Fu Xi replied as his words are true.

If Dragon Lake Palace falls, the Four Cardinal Divine Beasts that were just recently revived will be killed once again. The Corrupted Yellow Emperor would win and then will have full control of the eastern continent. All beings will fall under the Corrupted Yellow Emperor, and the eastern continent will definitely be corrupted and twisted under it.

“Reinforcements from the Murim Alliance has arrived!”

Just as the beings from Dragon Lake Palace are losing hope, numerous gallant voices echoed in the area. Ascendant Immortals riding on beasts and flying swords suddenly came crashing in. They were not large in number but all of them are also powerful enough to deal with the enemy Ascendant Immortals. The already chaotic battlefield became even more intense with the appearance of the Murim Alliance.

“Mind if I join as well.” Adrian’s voice actually pierced through the entire battlefield as he no longer needed to hold back his own aura.

Anyone would have dismissed Adrian because his power level is not at the level of a demigod but that is only true when he is hiding his presence. The only reason why he does not like to use the power of his own bloodline is the fact that even his allies are affected by it. Fortunately, Adrian managed to slowly get used to using it as time passed by. This was the first time that he will unleash it with full might while also controlling it to make his allies unaffected.

“Asmodian Prowess.” Adrian stated as a throne suddenly appeared behind him.

As soon as Adrian sat on the throne, a powerful pressure suddenly enveloped the entire area. A pressure that was so intense and heavy that even those that have powerful bloodlines had to maintain balance. Those that were unlucky lost control of their bodies and were sent falling down into the waters below where the guards of the Dragon Lake Palace killed them.

“What is that? Who is that?!” The Kirin shouted as its ability to detect the presence of kings suddenly started to activate.

A Kirin is said to be a divine beast that can point to those that have qualities of a powerful ruler that can reshape a generation. This ability does not activate often as the chance of being chosen is one in a million. The fact that the Kirin’s ability activated just now meant that the demon below has qualities that can become a powerful ruler. The Kirin could not believe it as its ability should activate even if the being is hiding their strength, but the demon below is an anomaly.

“Divine Beasts! Kill the demon!” The Kirin shouted as it broke free from the effects of Adrian’s skill by using some of its divine energy.

Adrian smirked as the other divine beasts followed what the Kirin did and used their divine energy to dispel the former’s prowess. All of the divine beasts charged towards Adrian as they have now identified him as the most dangerous being. They even sidelined the Ryujin as they were already tired and strategically retreating.

“Come and be my experience points. I need all of it in order to recover from what I lost when I summoned King Yama.” Adrian stated as six magic circles appeared behind his throne.

Sirius came out in his full form and slashed through all of the enemies he came across. Kanlaon came out with his dragon breath and blasted through the ones that were in front of him. Charon stayed by his master’s side but made sure to attack spiritual chains to all enemies that dared to get near them. All of their life force and mana were absorbed while generating a barrier around Adrian.

Dodu came out with spiky tendrils that targeted smaller beasts that it came to feast on. Kimat charged through the enemies with its body covered in lightning. Wisteria came out in her full form as well and plowed through the enemies as her large frame literally blocked the sky.
