“You used this cudgel to seal me, and I will admit that I was defeated that time. The Heavenly Cudgel got blasted with pure miasmic lightning that could destroy divine artifacts, but it also showed how powerful the weapon still is. Despite being blasted with continuous miasmic lightning, the Heavenly Cudgel actually shrunk itself back to three meters as it laid planted on the ground.
“In the end, even you shall submit to me!” The Corrupted Huanglong stated as it reached out for the Heavenly Cudgel once more.
The Corrupted Huanglong thought that the Heavenly Cudgel actually became weak and submitted to it, but the latter repelled the former once more. Out of sheer desperation of the divine artifact, the Heavenly Cudgel actually absorbed some of the power of the ley lines and activate the divine barrier attached to it as a skill. A golden yin and yang barrier exploded from the Heavenly Cudgel and repelled the miasmic lightning that the Corrupted Huanglong casted.
The miasmic lightning finally stopped but the Heavenly Cudgel could be seen only slightly deteriorated as it protected itself. As if the Heavenly Cudgel has a vendetta, it suddenly made the golden yin and yang barrier glow and released the absorbed damage into a piercing beam. This piercing beam headed towards the Corrupted Huanglong.
“Do you think that I will be harmed by an attack of a mere tool!” The Corrupted Huanglong shouted as it created a barrier made of miasma around it that took the form of miasmic lightning.
The piercing beam directly hit the barrier of the Corrupted Huanglong. The barrier created by the Corrupted Huanglong was strong, but the beam carried the power of the miasmic lightning attack earlier. The Corrupted Huanglong never thought that its own power would be used against it as the barrier shattered. The Corrupted Huanglong had to conjure up another barrier immediately using its right hand but even that was not enough for the piercing beam to dissipate.
In the end, the Corrupted Huanglong was injured by the tool that it has mocked. Acidic blood could be seen dripping down the injured arm of the Corrupted Huanglong. The Corrupted Huanglong could not stand this mockery, but it has to admit that its strength has yet to stabilize. It might have the power of a High God, but it has yet to fully incorporate all of it. The best that the Corrupted Huanglong could use is the strength of a Greater God.
“I will melt you myself!” The Corrupted Huanglong stated as it was supposed to transform into its larger form to truly destroy the divine artifact, but it sensed numerous life signals approaching its way.
The Corrupted Huanglong sensed thousands of Immortals coming its way and knew that it cannot contend with them now. Even if the Corrupted Huanglong wanted to destroy the Heavenly Cudgel, it must leave it alone for now.
