The Corrupted Huanglong cannot move its body as its physical form is sealed by the Seal of Four Directions. What it can do is invade the minds of beings in the eastern continent. The only problem for it is that the minds that it could invade are also limited in capacity as one would need the blood of the old emperor or its own blood in them.
The Corrupted Huanglong or rather the Huanglong did not have any descendants, but it did share some of its blood to the people of the eastern continent. This is how the Huanglong created champions that have a small fraction of its power. Still, the conversion happened thousands of years ago which meant that the blood that was given to the last champion might have diluted. Another possibility is that there are no descendants of the champions the Huanglong has raised.
As if the heavens have shined in its favor, the Corrupted Huanglong found an abandoned child that had a small sliver of blood of the Huanglong in her. This child is impoverished and had no backing, but she did have a special ability that is rare. This child has the capacity of a Seer and could become a very powerful one thanks to the blood of the Huanglong flowing in her veins.
The Corrupted Huanglong found two other beings that have the blood of the Huanglong in them, but they were all talentless. Still, the Corrupted Huanglong used the talentless descendants and manipulated them to become the guards of the Seer. The Corrupted Huanglong knew that it needed to plan for its ascension once more but cultivating children is not easy.
The Corrupted Huanglong made sure to scan every inch of the eastern continent to search for spiritual treasures likes herbs that could increase the power of the Seer. The Corrupted Huanglong even sacrificed some of its own divine power to give a blessing or rather one would see it as a curse to the Seer. The Corrupted Huanglong entered the dreams of the Seer and fed her prophecies but all of it were just created by the former.
The Seer was doubtful at first, but the Corrupted Huanglong pointed her to three spiritual treasures that changed her life in an instant. The first spiritual treasure made the Seer become reborn in a body perfect for Clairvoyant Cultivation. The second spiritual treasure made her able to see into the future without much backlash. The third spiritual treasure was used by her to gain massive fortune.
The sudden twist of the fate of the Seer made her believe in the words of the Corrupted Huanglong. She thought that it was her ancestral spirits that came to her for her aide in tough times. She did not know that it was an ancestral spirit, but it carried the malevolence of pure evil. It did not take long for the Kami organization to notice the talents of the Seer.
The first one to encounter her was none other than Chiyou. This made the Corrupted Huanglong immediately bounce in enthusiasm because every choice it made led to this moment. The Corrupted Huanglong knew that the Seer along could not help it be released from the seal. In fact, the Corrupted Huanglong even used that tactic before, but the Seer utterly failed.
Before the Emei Sect was founded, the Seer was led by the Corrupted Huanglong towards the area it was sealed. A powerful formation is even placed in that area where the heavenly cudgel is hidden in a powerful illusion. Such illusions are easily dispelled by Seers which is why it did not hinder her in checking the state of the Seal of Four Directions.
Unfortunately for the Corrupted Huanglong, the Seer was not powerful enough to release him. This is the reason why the Corrupted Huanglong shifted to another plan and that is to use the pawns that it had left back then. Fortunately for the Corrupted Huanglong, it learned that the gods that it had soul contracts with did not die but reincarnate into mortals as punishment.
The gods that became mortals would have had a change of heart and accepted mortals in a more equal sense had it not been for the Corrupted Huanglong. The Corrupted Huanglong used the power of the Seer to create prophetic dreams for all the soul contracted fallen gods. The Corrupted Huanglong made the Seer create a vivid prophetic dream that would make the fallen gods rise to their prime if they killed all of the Four Cardinal Divine Beasts.
The Seer actually sacrificed a quarter of her entire lifespan to manifest these prophetic dreams as she pierced through the minds of a hundred or so fallen gods. She would have doubted the Corrupted Huanglong, but her mind has long been corrupted by the latter. The sweet words that the Corrupted Huanglong whispered to her ever since her youthful days were all meant to get absolute control over her subconscious.
The subconscious of the Seer has already been replaced by the will of the Corrupted Huanglong itself. Even the visions that the Seer sees of the future are merely what the Corrupted Huanglong wants her to see. The Seer was also the one that tainted the fallen gods as her mere touch gave rise to the powerful subconscious alteration of the Corrupted Huanglong. The Corrupted Huanglong still had the soul contracts with the fallen gods but had no way of getting in touch with them as it could not invade their minds despite the latter becoming mortals.
Fortunately for the Corrupted Huanglong, the fallen gods formed factions and the one that reached out first was Kami. Once the Seer had direct contact with Chiyou, the plan of the Corrupted Huanglong came in full swing. Chiyou was the first to have his subconscious be invaded by the Corrupted Huanglong, but the latter made sure to not make it obvious.
The Corrupted Huanglong made sure to only make suggestions and not directly interfere with the decision of the fallen gods it has already made contact with. The only one that the Corrupted Huanglong truly manipulated was the Seer as she was used as a tool to guide the Kami organization. The Corrupted Huanglong made use of the visions of the Seer it has raised to have Kami formulate a plan to have the Seal of Four Directions be released.
The Corrupted Huanglong even cleverly made use of the Samadhi True Fire that Chiyou safeguarded as ’way’ to kill the former should it be released when all Four Cardinal Divine Beasts are killed. The Corrupted Huanglong made Chiyou believe this by having him use the Samadhi True Fire to burn parts of the Seal of Four Directions which the latter believed to be absolute. The Corrupted Huanglong pointed to the area that is already partially destroyed with the absence of the Vermillion Bird and Chiyou actually thought that he had a way to kill the former.
Everything fell into place for the Corrupted Huanglong as it believed that it shall be released from the seal in a decade or so. The Corrupted Huanglong guided the Kami organization and made them a powerful shadow organization. It also made sure that the Kami organization do not antagonize the Ryujin so that they would never be bothered by the police force of the eastern continent. Even though this extended its waiting time by another decade, but the Corrupted Huanglong is very patient.
The Corrupted Huanglong believed that it would be unsealed once all operations have fully started which was the killing of the Azure Dragon of the East. The Corrupted Huanglong would have given the vision to the Seer that is now weakening due to overusing her powers. She had already outlived her use in the eyes of the Corrupted Huanglong, and everything has been prepared.
What the Corrupted Huanglong did not expect is the sudden revival of the Vermillion Bird of the South. The sudden revival of the split up divine beast reinforced the Seal of Four Directions. This made the seal on the Corrupted Huanglong powerful enough to shut him up from the minds of the ones it has tainted. This was an unexpected scenario for the Corrupted Huanglong as it became a bump in its plans.
Fortunately for the Corrupted Huanglong, the Seer and the Kami organization has already believed of the possibility given by the visions. They continued onto the plan which resulted in what it is now. There were some deviations on the way like the early passing of the Seer and some of the tools that the Corrupted Huanglong prepared being destroyed. Even if all of that happened, the Corrupted Huanglong believed that it was victorious in the end as it was now unsealed.
