Chapter 2556: Pricolici

The floating baby is really cute from Adrian’s standards as it seems that his face is a mix of his sister’s and Lycan. If he was asked on who the parents of the Baby Erebus are then he would actually point to the two. This was an expected situation though as he learned that the soul that was pulled up other than Vlad Tepes was the fragmented soul of the Pricolici.

The Pricolici is none other than the species name of the original ancestor of the vampires and werewolves. Their race is still considered Asmodian, but the Pricolici is an Asmodian Erebian. He is also the original Asmodian Erebian that has descendants which were the Asmodian Vampire Vlad Tepes and the Asmodian Werewolf Lycaon Arcadia. He is the original ancestor of the two Erebian Species.

One could tell that he is also Asmodian as his hair is almost completely white, but tinges of black could be seen which meant that he is not pure Asmodian like Adrian. In terms of purity, Adrian is still more of a pure blood than the current baby Erebus. This might be the result of having a vampire give birth to him using forbidden magic.

“Impossible! How can you say that he is our ancestor when he is not a pure vampire?!” One of the vampire council members stated in shock as he expected that their ancestor would be purely a vampire.

“It is not like we also expected that we came from a bloodsucker.” One of the werewolf elders rebutted.

“What did you say furball!?” Another vampire council member stated as the two sides suddenly got heated.

“Is this really how my descendants act? It is such a disgrace to those that beings of the night!” The Baby Erebus stated as he suddenly released a powerful pressure that made all the vampires and werewolves bow down.

The Baby Erebus asserted his dominance just as soon as he was born. Still, the pressure that can be emitted by a baby is not enough to last for a few seconds. The small baby had to float towards Adrian to be carried as he exerted himself too much to teach his descendants a lesson. Adrian carried him with care as he knows that the Goddess Nox would definitely punish him if something does happen.

“You guys are a very lively bunch when a goddess just visited. Then again, most of you could not even lift your head from the pressure earlier. Just as the goddess said, this is your ancestor reborn because of the forbidden magic used by that crazy woman. Greet him as I think all of you know the name of Erebus.” Adrian stated as he presented the Baby Erebus just like that movie with a lion.

“We greet, the great ancestor!” The Vampires and Werewolves stated as they bowed.

As soon as they bowed and showed respect to the Baby Erebus, the vampires and werewolves suddenly felt a force hidden inside them open. A power that they never had before has been unlocked as the darkness literally wrapped around them. The power to manipulate the darkness that has been long lost when their ancestor died has been revived.

[The Erebian race has been unlocked for all players to choose. The two species that could be chosen are Vampire and Werewolf.]

[Players can change their race for free for a month, but their levels will reset to 100 (Only applicable to players above level 100).]

The world message suddenly announced that the Erebian Race which is known to be Descendants of Asmodians have now been unlocked. This announcement as the biggest thing that happened in Pandemonium. A lot of players already know of the vampires and werewolves as there are two players famous that are them respectively. What most players did not know is the fact that the vampires and werewolves come from one race and they are only divided by species.

“The forums are exploding.” Creepysoo commented as he checked on the forums as soon as the world message was given.

“We can deal with the forums later. So, tell me, Vampires and werewolves of old, what are your plans now?” Adrian asked them.

“The council will convene and think of steps moving forward. We will leave some guards for the ancestor as he is still vulnerable.” Duchess Edelblud stated.

“The pack will also do that as well.” Duke Lycaon added as it seems the two of them have an understanding.

“I will give you three days to talk it out with all of your species. Representatives will then gather in Avalon as that is where Erebus will live starting today.” Adrian stated.

“Still, we would like to know how this was possible. We would like to know to make sure that something like this will never happen again.” Duchess Edelblud stated as a lot of lives were sacrificed to bring back one being.

“Oh! You do not need to worry about that because the birth of Erebus here was merely due to luck and coincidence. He was only born correctly because he had the blood of vampires, werewolves, and even some special blood as well.” Adrian stated as he looked at his sister because she had Asmodian blood in her when her blood was used to use the forbidden spell.

“Will the gods of life and death not be offended by what one of our kind has done?” Duchess Edelblud asked.

“You do not have to worry about them as well because Fate has decreed its stance.” Adrian stated as he could not hear the grumble of the gods which means that the Fates must have acted to scare them off.

“If that is all then I guess I already got what I came here for.” Adrian stated as the New Moon relic entered his inventory, but he made sure to look at the werewolves.

“This is the Full Moon Relic. I hope that the Mediator will put it to good use, but I am afraid to say that it is no longer working as expected.” Duke Lycaon stated as he also gave the creation relic of the werewolves.
