Chapter 2555: An Ancestor Reborn II

As Adrian unsummoned Vlad Tepes, the vampires could be seen to be slightly saddened. They thought that they could converse with their ancestor, but it seems that he did not know any of them. Even the oldest ones that lived during his time were all ignored as he was more focused on the command that was given to him instead. Still, the fact that the Mediator of Death could summon their ancestor is something they ingrained.

“Is it safe?” Solstice asked as she came close to Adrian while looking at the shrinking blood cradle.

“You are asking as if it is a monster being born.” Adrian replied.

“Well, is it not?” Solstice asked as she could feel the pressure coming off from the blood cradle that even she cannot take.

“Do not worry because your ancestor is about to be reborn.” Adrian stated.

“Ancestor? You already sent him back to the afterlife though.” Solstice added as she already seen their ancestor Vlad Tepes.

Some of the vampires were eavesdropping on the conversation of Adrian and Solstice. They could not feign ignorance about not hearing it when Adrian told them that the child being born is their ancestor. What the vampires know is that they only had one ancestor and that is Vlad Tepes. They should not have a being that is higher than him, but the Mediator of Death says that there is one.

“I guess I was too vague with what I said. The missing soul in the afterlife that got reincarnated in the real world is none other than the ancestor of all Erebian. Be ready to greet the Asmodian Erebian, Erebus.” Adrian stated as the blood cradle finally got absorbed fully and what appeared is a baby about one feet tall.

“Burp!”

All of the vampires and werewolves suddenly felt the powerful pressure emitted by the being that came out of the blood cradle. Even the other beings that were not vampires or werewolves felt the pressure being emitted by a child. All of them could not help but kneel down in reverence as the being that was created by the Crazed Blood Queen Akasha was the ancestor of their ancestor.

[The Erebian Asmodian Ancestor Erebus has been reborn in this world.]

[Erebus is the only living Pricolici in the entire world.]

[The True Ruler of the Night has been reborn. All beings that worship the night shall be blessed if they follow him.]

Adrian was about to say something when a candle suddenly flew out of his inventory. This candle was the item given to him by a goddess that symbolized the night itself. The candle flew above the baby Erebus and a veiled woman in a beautiful night gown materialized next to him. Adrian was in shock of what is happening, but he needed to greet this goddess as she was the wife of his patron god after all.

“I greet the Eternal Night, the Goddess Nox.” Adrian stated as he bowed.

“Hello, my cute child. You have become stronger since the last time that saw you. You have not been visiting me as much and it gets quite lonely. I guess I should invite you to my Mansion of Night since it has been restored. Anyways, I did not descend for idle chat. It seems my grandchild has been safely born into this world once again.” The Goddess Nox stated as she looked at the baby Erebus.

“Hello, grandmother.” The baby Erebus suddenly spoke which actually shocked all of them as a baby that is just born suddenly started to speak.

“Now, be good my sweet child. Your uncle here will keep an eye on you.” The Goddess Nox stated as she suddenly looked at Adrian.

Adrian wanted to protest but how can you do that against a goddess that is literally the night itself. If she gets furious with you then night will never come to your realm or kingdom. Adrian could only laugh and happily acknowledge the sudden responsibility given to him. The Goddess Nox pressed the cheeks of the Baby Erebus and gave him some sort of blessing before looking at the sky above.

“It seems that my child is complaining that I am taking too long. It is still daylight after all which means she should be the one in charge. Take care of my grandchild, my cute Equinox.” The Goddess Nox stated as she vanished in an explosion of starlight.

“I guess I am now an uncle. Hello Erebus.” Adrian stated as he touched the body of the Asmodian before him as he is no longer alone in this world.

“Greetings, uncle. Please take care of me as instructed by grandmother.” The Baby Erebus stated as he touched Adrian’s finger.

As soon as Adrian and the Baby Erebus made contact, Adrian made sure to scan the entire body of the being before him. He made sure that there is no problem with the body of the baby because he was created by forbidden magic after all. He was checking if there are any spells embedded in his soul like a curse or a hex, but it seems there was none.

“So, you are a Pricolici. The original form of the beings of the Night. A hybrid of vampire and werewolf together.” Adrian stated as the term hybrid really fits.

The Baby Erebus have combined features of a vampire and a werewolf. His eyes were crimson red, and his fangs were the first teeth he has. The features resembling that of a werewolf is his wolf ears and wolf tail that is not hidden since he is still a child after all. Still, the Baby Erebus could float in the air.
