Chapter 2367 - 2367: Divine Priest Mode
[Levin Cloud POV]
It is incredibly dark and unsettling. A place that is shrouded in darkness and negative energy. It is not like the calming darkness that death gives you, but it is the unsettling to think that all of these were made by the grudges. I focused on what must be done because that is my mission.
The darkness tried to swallow me whole, but my divine energy keeps repelling them away. The only thing that this darkness could do is cover up my light. The light that I have cultivated ever since I have started this game. It is time to sacrifice that light as the grudges that are born from darkness will never see the light if one does not bring it.
[Do you wish to use all the good will that you have accumulated?]
“Yes.”
I replied with no hesitation because all of it will be needed for all of these negative things to be cleansed. I could feel something inside of me release a powerful wave of divine light. This is something that I only felt a few times when I use the good that I have collected to cleanse the evil.
I felt heavier before, but my body now feels lighter than ever. I always thought that carrying the good will of others was a burden as all that expectation and goodness cannot be carried by one person. I now know that I should always be using it in order to help others who are less fortunate than me.
[The people are praying for your safety. All requirements have been fulfilled.]
[You have gained the title, Eternal Saint.]
(End of POV)
The people imprisoned in the depths of the cavern watched as the dark tar like monster swallow the only hope that they have of escaping. Some of the warriors even noticed Levin Cloud from his silhouette and thought that they would be rescued but the monster took him. The warriors wanted to help Levin Cloud, but they are currently being held by prison bars made of permafrost.
It is ice so cold that even warriors that have trained in the northern continent would feel its freezing temperatures. The light of hope in the eyes of the warriors dimmed down as they finally accepted their demise. Still, a child that was with them called upon the being that was swallowed up by the darkness. One does not know why even a child is trapped in the depths of the prison, but she was the most treasured one in it.
“Help, please.” The little child stated as her fervent wish to help all those suffering inside the prison resonated with the wave of good energy that suddenly came out of the darkness.
All of the prisoners suddenly felt this warm and comforting energy that came out of the monster that devoured their only hope. The hope that was lost has suddenly sparked even more as all of them prayed. They prayed to the gods that they believed in to help the person that was trapped inside the darkness.
The people that have been trapped and almost forgotten are praying for someone that is not in a state more pitiful than them. They used their prayers for the safety of someone that they barely even know. They used it on someone that they did not even know if they would be helped by this person. All their desperate cries of faith that will definitely reach their god was used not for themselves butt for the life of another.
“We hear your cries, our children. To the Eternal Saint, we give our guidance.” The voices of the gods reached the ears of their followers as a powerful divine energy came to the being that was trapped by the darkness.
The darkness suddenly swelled as holes started to be created by them as well. The holes burst out in golden light as the darkness suddenly parted. The image of the Levin Cloud in his Divine Priest Mode could be seen praying for the grudges to be cleansed. The divine energy that Levin Cloud radiates started to cleanse the grudges as the dark tar like substance suddenly started to turn into flowers.
The people of the northern continent do not know what a divine being is but all of them gave reverence to the Eternal Saint that was born this day. Levin Cloud did not mind the people in the prison bowing to him, but he knows that he must help them escape. The only problem for him is that he cannot melt the ice or destroy it.
Levin Cloud’s struggles soon turned to overthinking as the transformation of the grudges were not in its final state. The flowers that suddenly bloomed in the entire cavern suddenly started to sprout butterflies. Butterflies that looked like they were made using pristine clear ice, but Levin Cloud knew what they were.
These butterflies were the fervent wishes for freedom of those that have died here. The ice butterflies took flight and with their flight the magic of the permafrost. The bars made of ice were suddenly flooded with the ice butterflies and it vanished in just a few seconds. The permafrost ice bars that prevented the imprisoned from escaping were all gone in just mere seconds.
“We are free!” The people that were imprisoned screamed in joy while some cried as they felt the hopelessness cling to their bodies and destroyed whatever hope they have left.
This was not the end as the ice butterflies flew upwards and even created the stairs for them to get out. Soon, the ice butterflies reached the permafrost ice floor and destroyed all of it by absorbing the magic was infused in it. The ice butterflies did not stop there as they flew higher and higher until they reached the entrance where the sun shines again. It was only then these ice butterflies melted in the warmth of the sun and the sounds of laughter echoed in the area.
“Let us go out now.” Levin Cloud stated as he released a powerful healing wave that recovered all those that were sick.

“Kill me!” The Frost High Elf Mage stated or at least what was left of her.
The Irregular of Freezing Frost’s body has already been destroyed which only left the chest part where the frozen consciousness of the Frost High Elf Mage was embedded. When most of the Irregular of the Freezing Frost have been destroyed by Adrian, Frey, and Vayu, the Frost High Elf Mage returned to her senses or at least her head did. She was now in a state where she no longer has a functioning body. The only thing that is keeping her alive is the remaining energy of the Irregular of Freezing Frost.
“Why did you have to do it? All of it would have been for naught as gods that have twisted sense of morality will never honor their deal in the end.” Adrian stated.
“You know nothing, demon!” The Frost High Elf Mage shouted as she never thought that she did wrong even in her dying state.
“Your life will be as pathetic as your attempt in plunging the world in chaos. Dodu, make sure that nothing remains.” Adrian commanded as Dodu suddenly enlarged itself and plunged down to the remaining parts of the Irregular of Freezing Frost.
[You have killed the Irregular of Freezing Frost.]
[You have gained experience points.]
[Dodu has destroyed all traces of the last living Frost Elf.]
[Dodu has gained the title, Speciocider.]
[You have gained the title, Master of a Speciocider.]
“Now what I had quite expected but let me just bury that title down.” Adrian thought as he quickly assorted his titles.
Adrian, Frey and Vayu were about to follow Peridot and Soleil inside of the cavern when an explosion of ice butterflies happened. The beautiful scene of these clear ice butterflies flying out was spectacular, but such scenes did not last. The ice butterflies melted as soon as they got touched by the sun. When the ice butterflies melted, a cheerful and joyous laughter will fill the air which actually made Adrian cry.
Adrian did not really want to cry but the Champion of the Twin Gods instinctively knew what those ice butterflies were. Tears ran down his face as the pure joy of those that have been trapped in captivity affected him. In the end, Adrian prayed for their safe reincarnation as they should live happy lives in their next one.
“Did you miss me?” Levin Cloud’s voice could suddenly be heard from the cavern that is still expelling ice butterflies.
“I knew that you were safe.” Adrian stated with a smile.
“I did not know that you were so sad for me that you cried.” Levin Cloud teased as he came out of the cavern with Peridot and Soleil that she met on the way and all the others trapped in it.
“These tears are not for you but for them.” Adrian replied and the two nodded in agreement as they understood while looking at the sky.
