Chapter 641: Sheeps and Goats (1)
The horrendous scene of the massive meteor breaking up into small different parts was shown all over Australia.
Pieces of the once gigantic asteroid fighting its way through the atmosphere continued to plummet at incredible speeds.
Smaller pieces of the stones from the forceful wrenching of the giant rocks fell ahead toward Earth. They were all headed toward the targeted bases and cities.
The arrangement of the entire country had already divided the sheep and the goats.
Knowing the destinies of millions was now a simple thing for Arthur, who even invented a program that could foresee the actions of these people. It was called the Depravity Report, which ranked whether a civilian was a traitor.
This program was used by the Unlocked worldwide to assign placements and positions of people to be in places of Judgment or places of Victory. And when the time would come, a protocol for the Unlocked on how they would make their hasty exits on these lands would follow.
Protocol Eviction began as the soldiers and Unlocked started to leave along with the numerous spies within their midst. All over the world, people who pretended to be politicians, generals, soldiers, and so on suddenly revealed their real form and flew out with great speed.
A virus attacked all the military bases, rendering their defenses useless for ten seconds, enough time for the Unlocked to retreat.
Cities were being abandoned to death as the people were shocked to see many of their influential people leave.
"You deserve this, people!" One of the Inhuman spies shouted at the top of his lungs.
Other scenes played out the same thing.
"Surprise! I'm an Unlocked! But you guys deserve this! Me and Sebastian really tried to stop you from doing this. And when we couldn't anymore, we helped prepare for your deaths! This is Roselyn of Warfreakz signing out!" Roselyn laughed as he left and wore an Exoskeleton.
Stanley of Warfreakz also flew out, shocking the other politicians of the European Union.
"I've set your weapons to launch all the weapons of mass destruction towards the skies above. Now it looks like the main Unlocked army is hidden here! Though no meteor will hit you, the Presiders will massacre you! Good luck! And thank you for the fish!" Stanley waved his hands as numerous silos opened and started firing the rockets toward space.
The horrified soldiers of the army that was planning to attack the Unlocked did everything they could, but the preparations for the ammo-emptying barrage kept on shooting.
The most horrified of all belonged to the large metropolis in Australia.
Millions of people all watched as the sizeable burning ball hurled towards them. The young, the old, the soldiers, and the civilians were left to cry and shout in anger.
Many cried and pleaded to the Realm King as they saw the more vital members, the Unbecoming and Inhumans, leave the place with stellar capable jets.
The realm of the Realm King stopped the fighters as these jets left.
The asteroids were changing the direction of its fall as Lioncourt led the way.
Weapons were shot to attack the falling Asteroids, and some took aim up the fortresses and bases of the Unlock.
But the preparations for the Unlock were too precise. No weapon fired and launched could ever reach or harm the facilities.
Above the sky, where the massive fortress of the Confederate hovered and defended Australia from the alien horde, many could not help but watch the pieces of the asteroid fall towards the cities set for destruction.
Some had conflicted expressions as they knew that these stones would end up massacring thousands and thousands on their fall.
"Cheer up. It is better to let these stones fall than waste resources shooting at them. We've saved a lot of ammo and resources to kill future enemies. The Unlocked can deal with the battle ahead." The former President of Pangea and father of the renowned General, Lowengren, Albert Hoross, spoke.
The Unlocked of Pangea, SPU, and Australia all saw the horrifying price of betrayal.
Yet, no one complained or voiced any complaints about this devastating decision.
"All of you... strengthen your resolve. In the past few days, you have seen the proof that many among our numbers will betray us. Pangea was set to betray Earth. Generals Harker and Alean were also among those set to betray it. Yet through the source of the Unlocked, the One called the Truth, we have gathered many more like Harker and Alean who stand with us instead of against us."
The asteroid met rockets and beams that tried to further weaken it.
Massive blasts somehow allowed the gigantic rock to break into smaller pieces, but it was still too late.
BOOM! BOOM
A significant tremor was felt all over Australia as numerous places were bombarded with large stones that had more force than weapons of mass destruction.
Lioncourt's realm extended throughout most of Australia, seeking people to spare. But all he heard were curses mixed in the shouts.
"Is it too hard to ask for my help?" Lioncourt couldn't understand it. Even then, these people did not ask for help in their deaths.
Lioncourt kept hearing cries of anger in his rage; Lioncourt ceased to listen to the cries of his country.
"Ungrateful sons of bitches!" Lioncourt cursed.
"Now you know how God feels." Arthur sighed.
"It pains me since I love this country. But I will shut my ears from them. I'm not as merciful as God. I've done my part, and they still plot betrayal." Lioncourt sighed.
"Well, demanding loyalty despite having little chance to save the world is not a fair deal." Arthur laughed.
"You seem to have abandoned this line of thought ages ago?"
"It's not that I abandoned it. No matter what I do, it's that I can't find an ending where these traitors will not rebel. They will. No matter what. Not just me. Meng and my dad labored to save so many. This actually explains Seerk's actions. Seeker tried in his previous life and got sick after all the betrayal, hence his preference to just massacre the evil ones. Most of us never understood it."
"I envy you, Arthur. You've never had patriotic loyalty. As for me, I shall still weep and bear the guilt of allowing them all to die."
"Indeed, Lioncourt. We shall weep. We shall weep, for we do not delight in the death of the unrighteous. We weep, for we are saddened by the death of the wicked." A familiar voice was heard.
"Eagle? I didn't notice you connected with my systems." Lioncourt was surprised.
"Gravity has its uses. I remembered your base and just applied gravity to press the right buttons. Nevertheless, Lioncourt, what you feel now is what God feels! He tries His best to throw tragedy upon tragedy to make people turn to Him, and they don't. He sent His Son to die for them and tried to use grace and love. But people took advantage of this and attacked Christianity, which preached the horrendous sins of Earth. And yet, people chose their way. And when wrath was allowed, the wicked people of Earth would cry foul and ask, 'Where is the good Lord?' after piling sins enough to have killed them a million times over. Only in this case, they cry, where is the Unlocked?"
Eagle was hovering over the skies that he could see from the distance New Jerusalem and the Grecko-Roman Empire's massive fortress.
He also saw the falling meteors.
"Why don't you sound anything like you preach? If I'm not mistaken, Eagle. You're happy."
"Why wouldn't I be? I'm still human. I followed the call of a Pastor, but that was a dangerous path during the post-years of the Void Century, where religion was hated. Many of his friends with whom I shared the cup of brotherhood had died. None of my friends, or even my wife's friends in the church of my youth, survived. And those places where we've gathered the corrupt ones cover all the places where my brothers and sisters died. The blood of the martyrs taints the Earth!"
"So yours is a personal vendetta to delight in the dead of many?" Lioncourt frowned.
"Are you angry at me for my mirth in this? You think all Christians will weep when they see destruction? As John the Beloved wept since no one could unseal the seals that brought on the Apocalypse Judgment, I rejoice! The payback for my friends has finally come! I won't be the only Christian to see this and be delighted. All the suffering and pain and how they got pushed around from whatever ideology of Earth and smugness of those who think themselves intelligent is being paid up!"
The mysterious power of Eagle flowed out as he tapped on a massive amount of invisible energy over the atmosphere.
Pridgeon and Lanterk sensed the fluctuations as this invisible energy was finally shown.
The sky satellites deployed high above secretly released the last energy that the WGP created. Origin energy leaked and gathered above the atmosphere. And now, Eagle was tapping into this power.
At the command of Eagle, the gravity that pulled the asteroids began to increase.
"This is your choice, traitors. Live with it." Eagle laughed as he played the god and allowed the meteor to fall faster than it should.
