Chapter 636: Daniel 8
The meteors were soon detected as the Orbital was within visible range.
Numerous large meteors were falling, but all of Earth's mightiest champions focused on a large one that could create cataclysmic destruction.
Because of the threat, the Presiders and the Earthlings didn't fight against each other. Still, they were carefully preparing for the coming attacks. Both groups were uncertain where the asteroids would land and were making ample preparations for the coming battle.
In the chaos, the leaders of the world had once more gathered. The team of Seeker had caused great trouble in the Orbital that the means to spy and listen on them was lost.
Lanterk and Pridgeon's kingdom was ever at war and did not have the luxury to spy.
At that time, Arthur predicted it was the safest time to meet again.
And so, the Overcomers of Earth did once more and brought great, powerful men.
Even when Presiders could see an immense gathering of powerful beings on Earth, there was little to be done to spy over them.
And so, within the moon, there gathered the greatest of Earth.
Overcomers, the Ranked Heroes, and many of those held to have the potential to become Heroes also waited.
There was a large prepared, and every important military leader who was allied to the Unlocked sat and waited.
At the center of the room was the Paragon of Preachers, held by many as the strongest Overcomer.
The Overcomers were all present, and all had their bibles with them. Even Quera Sapphire was not one to anger Eagle anymore. She wore a modest dress and numerous veils to hide her beauty. And as everyone in the room had strong will, they were only mildly affected by the presence and voice of the woman.
The Overcomers and all Ranked Heroes were present as Eagle began to speak of what was to come.
"We have made the connection in our attempts to redo biblical history. The Word has been preached, and it will not return void. The connections have been made... Egypt has been conquered, and now we move to the era of the Judges and towards the era of the 1 and 2 Kings. The World has heard the message but will choose not to repent. To my Calvinist brothers who hold on to the TULIP, I would first apologize. Because while we cannot force the salvation towards them unless they were called beforehand, we can force them to join our team through other means." Eagle began.
"Seeker has told us how we call those with power to be 'believers.' Lynd and many others have somehow gained power through faith in the typology of Christ, which we have in Seeker, and here, we have an opportunity to create another branch or kind of believers. False believers. Our plan has worked. Conspiracy theorists full of pride have taken great lengths to become famous because of the possibility that history is repeating itself. And we shall force it to come true!"
Several vlogs and podcasts were shown where the people had already made the connection and found fame. This was the new age of superstars and divided the world as those who were not Christians. Those who hated Christianity were starting to act out against each other.
"The chaos and division that the world has brought tampered with these False Believers. In this coming world, many will choose to ally with us not because of their sincerity in the spirit but because of their preference. They will share the morality of our spirituality but not share with us in the inheritance of the saints in light. False believers who will fade away. Those who cry out to the Lord will do many things, to which they will be told, 'Depart from me, I never knew you." Eagle explained.
"So basically, we have an army of professing Christians?" Richie asked.
"Exactly. But now, we have to look ahead. With many Presiders here and a Principal, we won't have the luxury of having these meetings. But the information that Seeker provided has greatly aided us!"
"You want to use Lanterk and the coming Presiders... They will somehow fit the biblical narrative?" Quera guessed.
"Yes, my dear lady. It is precisely that! We do have quite a work to follow. Many kingdoms shall rise first before Alexander's power surpasses all. We must let Babylon rise and fall to let the Medes and the Persians appear in this world. One of the most convincing prophecies within the Christian faith is Daniel 8. The story of the Ram and the Goat. The Ram with two horns was a mighty beast. It stood stronger than all the beasts, and none could fight it. But then, we see in that chapter that a nake giant appears. Verse, that a goat rose up and with unstoppable might! The Bible depicts this goat so fast that it flies and does not touch the ground. It challenged the Ram and broke its horns. And at the height of this goat power, a strange thing occurs. Its horn breaks, and four smaller horns appear. The verse then details which of the horns were great and how they conquered the regions around it. Now I ask, who here can tell me the history of this mysterious verse?" Eagle asked.
Many among the groups raised their hands, but Meng spoke first.
"Isn't it explained within the text? The latter parts of Daniel 8 tell us that the Ram is Medo-Persia and that the goat is the king of Greece." Meng asked back.
"Exactly. Alexander. The very name that Lanter took. The book of Daniel is said to have been written sometime in 500 B.C. And chapter 8 speaks of the defeat of the Medes and the Persians... And a prophecy that speaks of the fall of a mighty empire is farfetched, so to speak. Think of every era. Would the people who saw the growth of the United States of America believe that they would fall way back in the Post-Modern era? Not only does this prophecy speak of the downfall of a great nation, but it has very specific clauses. The great empire of Persia fell a hundred and fifty years later. At around 336 BC, Alexander the Great became the king of Greece. And boy, did they conquer." Eagle spoke as holograms regarding the timelines of Alexander were displayed.
"Who would have thought that the entire land mass spanned nearly five thousand kilometers would fall in thirteen short years. Thirteen years... Wars that would have taken decades between two equally strong power was nothing when Alexander rose and charged through the lands. But as was predicted in the vision of Daniel 8, at the height of Alexander's power, he died. And as four horns appeared, four kingdoms surfaced. Their lands were also as the Bible indicated. People say it was a coincidence, but how did the exact number of kingdoms appear? The unbelieving will always find reasons to refute it and even late date this prophecy. But to us, it is the power of life. And now, we shall help fulfill the last part of the prophecy."
"You are referring to... Daniel 8 verses twenty-three to twenty-six? ' And at the latter end of their kingdom, when the transgressors have reached their limit, a king of bold face, one who understands riddles, shall arise. His power shall be great—but not by his own power; and he shall cause fearful destruction and shall succeed in what he does, and destroy mighty men and the people who are the saints. By his cunning he shall make deceit prosper under his hand, and in his own mind he shall become great. Without warning he shall destroy many. And he shall even rise up against the Prince of princes, and he shall be broken—but by no human hand. The vision of the evenings and the mornings that has been told is true, but seal up the vision, for it refers to many days from now.'"
"Yes. One of the Presiders from Lanterk's allies of Presiders must arise, and we shall help them arise! The battle of Arthur and Alean draws near. But we all should learn how to turn Fate and Destiny, these forces that we do not see, and take advantage of the prodding of prophecy. The Bible often uses a trick where a prophecy is partially fulfilled but lacks many aspects. God promised a great priest, and he gave the Israelites Samuel. But Samuel was only partially fulfilled, for the prophecy in 1 Samuel speaks of a priest that will minister to the Israelites forever. God promised a King and gave them David, and later reveals that David was just a typology, a sign for a future king. And when that King came, the fulfilled prophecies about him were the hardest to refute based on its evidence and truth. But they were never brought to fruition. Jesus died, and the promised Kingdom has yet to come. Do you see?"
"The rise of Greece in Daniel 8... was a partial fulfillment, and we are to fulfill all of it? Apart from the other kingdoms, it has to end with Greece?"
"That will be difficult... That means we have to weaken Alexander to a great degree. Allow Pridgeon to be strong, or someone else, and then cause Alexander to make a grand comeback?" Lioncourt thought.
"And that is what we are here to discuss. We decide now. Which nations of the Earth will we abandon, use, or manipulate? The death toll will be by the billions. But all should happen for Scripture to be fulfilled!" Eagle's eyes flashed with great passion. But some saw it as insanity.
