Chapter 635: A Portal to Aragar
Marrho's expression soured at the laughter that met him as he appeared.
Haresha also chuckled at the side.
"It seems that the Lost Primoridal's legacy is impressive. To think that you're new allies are strong. But I'm disappointed in you two. Here I thought you were Conquerors." Marrho gritted his teeth.
"Trying to spur us? We have accepted that we aren't Conquerors. Well, I have long ago. Haresha is still in the process. But we are Overcomers. Admittedly, it's weaker. But together, we can take on Conquerors." Porrelom sneered.
"You even use their own made-up title. How weak."
"Was the Lost Primordial weak? He could kill a thousand of you like it was nothing. Only the Primordial managed to defeat him. Say what you will. But I've found my escape from this terrifying war." Porrelmo sneered.
"Why have you called, Marrho?"
"Where are the Earthlings?"
"Why should they talk to you?"
"Because I have a proposition for them. I know Earth has its own problem. So, I propose a ceasefire. We will only fight when all the other Presiders are dead. I believe that's beneficial with you two as well."
"Why would a ceasefire be beneficial to us? Our combined military forces and that of Earth could take on several Presiders."
"Hmp. Is that really the truth? How much of your forces remain, Haresha? How much of your energy remains after the battle against Render? And Porrelom, don't you think I did not sense the energy you've been wasting? You don't make your odd decisions from nothing, do you?"
"Right. It's a gamble. I have to pour in a reasonable amount of Universe Energy. But you hit it dead in the nail. My guesses have exceeded the energy I have been creating for some time." Porrelom laughed.
"But I don't see why this benefits our Earth guests. They have a supreme power that can match us, but their stock is not as great as we are. We gather Universe Energy to create a better body. But they seem to have been developing a body without storing massive amounts of Universe Energy. It's actually an envious system. The Universe Energy that they create is within their bodies or their souls. Doesn't that sound familiar to the tales we've heard? The White Ones had great energy within them. They don't draw or create the Universe Energy but was born within them."
Marrho frowned when they heard this.
"And you're telling me vital information about their secrets because...?" Marrho asked.
"Because I want to shake the foundation of Presiders. You Conquerors think you are so strong. But here we are, with your numbers dwindling, and we, the Overcomers, have won. The battle down the Earth will be chaos. For we will be united while you remain divided. It may have worked for Mid-Tiers and Low-Tiers. But now, I see Earth as their own Presiders. Especially now that Render has died. No Presider will deal with Earth's Presiders so easily."
"Or... they might focus their attacks on Earth. Earth will be the first to fall."
"Not with Lanterk down there. And from the images we've seen, Pridgeon seems to enjoy the power he got from your incarnation."
Marrho's eyebrows raised but contained himself.
"Crostfree was a rather delicate incarnation and is a mass loss for my main body. And that's why I'm here for revenge. He will fall one way or the other..."
"Oh? That's a lie." Lowengren appeared. He smiled as he moved in full view of Marrho.
Porrelom and Haresha was shocked as they saw Lowengren.
"Hm? Didn't he...?"
But Haresha stopped Porrelom with a simple gesture.
Porrelom had seen Lowengren 'enter the matrix' and yet, he was here!
Porrelom was so confused and guessed within his thoughts.
"I guess... that's not Lowengren? Hmm...? Where's Seeker?" Porrelom was confused.
"The curious thing... is why? Are you his ally? Your words indicate that you have no plans to kill him. What do you think, Presiders?"
"What are you talking about?" Marrho frowned.
"Hmm? He doesn't want to kill Pridgeon, who has slain one of Prime Defiant's incarnations... Let me try to make a guess. But it'll cost you guys."
"One tech will be yours..."
"Fine... I want that guy's tech." Porrelom pointed in a direction that Marrho couldn't see.
Lowengren knew he was talking about Vender.
"...We don't even understand it. Honestly. It's not up to us to give it to you." Lowengren sighed.
"...I thought it would be something like that. Then Garrenjazz."
"We have a few of his basic powers. But it's not something we can harness. But he is yours to study."
"Great!" Porrelom smiled, and a strange flicker appeared.
"There are three guesses. First, you read his declaration wrong. He isn't lying, and he IS really intent on killing Pridgeon. The second is that Pridgeon is also an incarnation of Prime Defiant. The third is that when Pridgeon devoured Crostfree, he gained the power of Crostfree. If that makes sense. Those are the three guesses." Porrelom revealed.
"I'm guessing the second one," Porrelom added.
"I'd guess the third. Interesting. Does that mean... if we devour him... we become part of Prime Defiant?" Lowengren smiled.
"Of course not. That's preposterous."
"Hahaha!" Lowengren laughed.
"Talk all you want. But do you know my power? I can tell when a person is lying!" Lowengren sneered.
Marrho tried to remain calm, but his expression was clearly troubled and contained his anger.
"Devouring the Nefilus Suit will indeed pass on a trait... But I never thought about that... Eat, and you become part of Prime Defiant? That's interesting..." Haresha smiled.
"It fits. The Bible often talks about how we are all 'one' as a church and referred to as a body. I think you misunderstood Prime Defiant's intention. He isn't creating incarnations... He is creating body parts!" Lowengren revealed.
"Body parts? Wow. That's a very interesting theory!" Porrelom praised.
"Such tales are wild and insane. Body part divided as different people?" Haresha was doubtful.
"It would have sounded insane if the Lost Primordial had not done something similar. The Lost Primordial took inspiration from that. You see, we think from a limited perspective and points in time. But it could be that one being is many in different times and many forms. The very being that the Primordial wants to challenge is such a being. A Trinity!"
"Trinity? That's possible?" Porrelom was confused.
"Three persons of one being. That could be another way to explain. The Lost Primordial took this idea. He created seeds and left us on Earth. But in his perspective, though he was gone, he was very present. And that is the code that we Overcomers stand by. Alone, we weren't that strong. But all of us needed each of us. So we don't have one throne but a shared one. And the victory we've had in the past and the ones that we will continue to claim is because of this body that the Lost Primordial created."
"I am not here to listen to your tall tales. Take whatever you think of this. But my deal remains. And now, since you are so keen to reject me, I will tell you a secret. Lanterk is clearly the most threatening one. And while many are preventing him from sending his main bodies here, many Presiders, who are the sons and daughters of the true body of Lanterk, are headed here with an attempt to claim his body."
Porrelom and Haresha frowned and turned to Lowengren.
"...He isn't lying." Lowengren sighed.
"If you want proof... Ask your little lightning friend to scan the energy within this place. Whatever you guys are doing has forced the Principal's hand. I admire that in you. The energy confused me at first, but then I detected a warp link being created. Two points in space are being created, and the distance between Earth and Aragar will be open. Although no being that has started in Dimensional Purging can slip through. The gate will be open for a few seconds, but who knows what will come out of it!"
"And the Presiders will focus on us before killing Lanterk?"
"They are sons of the Principal. They will kill everyone else before they will fight. This will also be Lanterk's chance to prove his worth as an incarnation. But Earth will face a great battle."
Seeker and the rest were listening on the side and were all frowning.
"No wonder Arthur's prediction didn't seem any better. The Principal opening a portal must have been within in his predictions..."
"A ceasefire doesn't look all that bad now..." Lynd sighed.
"Right."
Lowengren glanced at his allies and nodded at their signals.
"Alright. A ceasefire will do. Apart from that, we will also tell you our plans. On Earth, a book that crosses time, space, and the very dimensions of things has been written and is the source of power that the Lost Primordial took. Our own interpretation of the prophecies that have come true proves that Earth will soon have several powers that should rise and be a threat to the world. The region that Lanterk and Pridgeon are one of the areas that are bound to rise. Israel and Babylon. But a few more will rise in prominence. We planned to have the Presiders take these lands. Because the lands that claim it are bound to rise."
Marrho was quiet. But he has felt the call of Fate rising in different areas on Earth. Lowengren's words only proved his sensation.
"Egypt. Persia. Assyria. These are the kingdoms that will have their chance. But a fair warning... your words about the coming Presiders make us worry. For it will fulfill another of the prophecies in the Bible."
"What prophecy?"
"...The Four Kingdoms after Alexander. It seems... that Fate and Destiny are bound to repeat the events written in the Bible!"
