Chapter 1377: Unexpected Accident (Part 3)

“Let’s go, Ashley,” Evan said after confirming that he hadn’t left anything behind and had cleaned the battlefield perfectly.

Ashley nodded and was about to teleport them away when, suddenly, she felt something and looked into the distance.

In fact, it wasn’t just Ashley, Evan and Sylavn also noticed the anomaly in the distance and turned their heads with frowns.

“The space in that area has suddenly become very unstable,” Ashley said as she stared at the trembling region about one hundred kilometers away from them.

“Do you think a natural treasure is about to be born there?” Sylavn asked aloud.

Evan didn’t answer Sylavn’s question because as he looked at the trembling space, he felt that something was wrong.

Trusting his intuition, he used his Void Law energy and peered through space, directly observing the void space in the trembling area.

Inside that region’s void space, Evan saw a giant void rift that resembled the jaws of a massive beast.

At first, he was confused as to why a void rift had suddenly opened within the void space. But then, he thought of something, and his expression changed abruptly.

“Not good.” He immediately looked at Ashley and spoke in an urgent voice.

“Quickly, we need to leave.”

Sylavn and Ashley were taken aback when they saw the urgency on Evan’s face.

But knowing there weren’t many things that could make him anxious, Ashley didn’t waste any time.

A silver light enveloped all of them, including Natasha and in the next instant, they all disappeared from the battlefield and reappeared far away from it.

Ashley did not stop after the first teleportation. She once again used her Law energy, continuing to widen the distance between them and the battlefield.

In just a few seconds, they were already millions of miles away.

“What’s wrong? Is there something wrong there?” Sylavn couldn’t help but ask as Ashley continued using her Space Law to move toward the teleportation formation that would allow them to return to the closed world of the Dryads.

Evan was about to answer when, suddenly, all four of them felt two violent auras appear in the direction they had just escaped from.

Both auras were extremely powerful, giving Evan and the others the feeling that the very world was crushing down on them.

Even though they were millions of miles away from the battlefield—the center of those two violent auras, it still made Ashley and the others’ hearts tremble with fear.

Both auras were filled with intense anger that could drive people mad.

“Those two bastards have finally escaped from the collapsed space of the Tomb of the Ancients,” Evan muttered in a heavy voice, his gaze serious.

When Sylavn and Ashley heard his words, realization struck them, and they immediately understood to whom those two violent auras belonged.

“Eldrakar and Baphomet,” Sylavn said, taking a deep breath and feeling fortunate that they had escaped in time.

If they had lingered on the battlefield for even one more minute, they would have definitely been captured by those two mad beings.

’Although they have returned, both dragons and demons, especially the demons have suffered immense losses during the time they were trapped. I can’t even imagine how angry they will be once they find out their homes were destroyed while they were away.’

“Ashley, can you go even faster?” Evan suddenly asked in a serious voice.

“I am already using my maximum power,” Ashley replied as she once again teleported them away.

“Is there a problem?” Sylavn asked upon hearing Evan’s question.

Evan remained silent for a moment before speaking seriously.

“After seeing Baphomet and Eldrakar, even if Turoon doesn’t say anything, other dragons will definitely tell them everything that just happened. Once those two bastards find out that I was there just a moment ago, they will definitely chase after us.” He paused briefly before continuing.

“Although Ashley is powerful and it would be impossible for any other Rank Six Core Evolver to catch us easily, Eldrakar is a Void Dragon, so it wouldn’t be difficult for him to track and catch us. Unless we leave this area using a teleportation formation and return to the closed world of the Dryads, there is a high possibility that they will catch up to us.”

Ashley and Sylavn fell silent upon hearing Evan’s words, as they both realized that what he said was true.

“If they really come after us, you two go ahead, I will stop them,” Sylavn suddenly said in a serious voice.

“Even if I can’t defeat them, I should be able to hold them off for some time and retreat safely.”

Ashley was about to deny Sylavn’s words, as she knew it was impossible for him to face both Eldrakar and Baphomet at the same time.

But before she could speak, Evan beat her to it.

“You really wish to sleep a hundred feet underground, don’t you, old man?” Evan said, rolling his eyes.

“Not to mention whether you can actually stop them, the part about retreating safely is absolute nonsense.”

Sylavn’s face turned ugly upon hearing Evan’s words, and he retorted angrily.

“This isn’t the time for you to act like an a*shole. If things go wrong, all of us will die here.”

Evan was about to retort when Ashley’s expression suddenly turned grim, and she spoke in an urgent voice.

“Someone is chasing us and they are fast, very fast. They will catch up to us in less than a minute.”

Evan and Sylavn’s expressions changed instantly upon hearing her words. Without saying anything further, Evan stepped away from Ashley and the others.

“You guys go ahead. I will return after greeting those two.”

“You—” Sylavn’s face turned red with anger when he saw Evan’s actions.

But Evan didn’t give him a chance to speak and simply waved his hand.

“Leave already, old man. You will just hold me back,” He said, smiling faintly before his expression turned confident.

“Believe me, once I fully let loose, even I am afraid of myself… much less those two losers.”

Evan looked at Ashley and nodded.

“Go. They will be here soon.”

Ashley hesitated for a moment upon hearing his words, but sensing that Baphomet and Eldrakar were rapidly closing in, she gritted her teeth.

“Just hold on for some time. I will go back and quickly bring Anastasia with me,” She said, knowing she couldn’t help in any other way under the current circumstances.

A flash of silver light enveloped Sylavn and the others, and their bodies began to fade away.

“You’d better not die. You still haven’t fulfilled your promise of allowing the Dryads to roam freely in this world.”

Sylavn’s voice reached Evan’s ears just before all three of them disappeared.

Evan chuckled and shook his head before looking into the distance with his Void Eyes, where he could already see two figures rapidly approaching his location.

“It’s going to be tough.”
