Chapter 653: The Grand Finale (Part 2)
“Blasphemer!”
The Light God spoke, his voice deafening. It was like a thunderclap that shattered the sea of clouds for ten thousand miles.
The entire world trembled violently under the force of his voice. The earth threatened to crack, and massive waves surged through the rivers.
“You ants…”
The disdain and arrogance in his tone brought a deep sense of humiliation to everyone present.
In this desperate, critical moment, Chu He arrived, treading upon the waves of the Yellow River.
He streaked across the sky like a brilliant meteor tearing through the darkness.
The waves of the Yellow River churned beneath his feet as if cheering him on.
The Human Emperor Seal floated above his head, emanating a mysterious and powerful aura as it slowly transformed into a phantasmal image of the Great Wall.
This phantasmal Great Wall was majestic and imposing.
Every brick and stone contained boundless power, guarding the dignity of the Great Xia Empire.
Chu He declared, “How dare a hairy Western god like you run rampant in the lands of the Great Xia Empire!”
His voice rang out with exceptional clarity in the oppressive atmosphere between heaven and earth.
As Chu He cried out, the Nine Ding resonated in unison. Their sound was deep and magnificent, like an echo of history itself.
Three Divine Artifacts flew out from the Ding:
Yu the Great’s Mountain-Cracking Axe, its blade incomparably sharp, glinted with a cold light, capable of splitting any obstacle in the world.
The Emperor’s Seal of the Realm, which exuded an ancient and mystical aura. Its very existence suppressed and stabilized the destiny of the Great Xia Empire, ensuring its continuation.
The Martial Saint Cyan Dragon Saber, with its long, slender blade shimmering with a biting chill, able to sever all evil in the world with a single swing.
Yu the Great’s Mountain-Cracking Axe was the first to attack, cleaving toward the Light God’s divine radiance with indomitable momentum.
The light of the axe and the divine radiance collided violently, erupting in a dazzling flash.
For a moment, the world was as bright as day, nearly impossible to look at directly.
The Emperor’s Seal of the Realm released its immense power, attempting to suppress the Light God’s might. The mystical fluctuations of energy caused the surrounding space to twist and distort.
Not to be outdone, the Martial Saint Cyan Dragon Saber swung with a sharp, cutting light, striking directly at the Light God in an attempt to sever the chains He used to control the people’s faith.
But the Light God’s power was simply too immense.
Facing the assault of the three Divine Artifacts, He simply flicked a finger, sending them all flying.
The Divine Artifacts flew backward and landed heavily in the distance with a dull thud.
The Light God’s holy light swiftly coalesced into a massive Cross and shot toward Chu He with the speed of a thunderbolt.
In the blink of an eye, the Cross had nailed Chu He’s four limbs.
The Light God looked down on Chu He, a cold, disdainful sneer on his face.
His smile seemed to mock Chu He’s overconfidence. “The Human Emperor? Nothing more than a Pseudo-God!”
At this sight, the hope in the hearts of those who had pinned everything on Chu He instantly shattered like a bubble,
plunging them into endless despair and collapse.
On the city walls, a flicker of panic crossed the once-resolute eyes of the Defense Team members.
Their hands unconsciously tightened around their weapons, knuckles turning white from the force, but they knew deep down that the gap in power between them and the Light God was immense. This might be a battle with no chance of victory.
“Lord Chu He…”
a young Defense Team member murmured, his voice filled with despair and indignation. Tears welled in his eyes, as if he were watching his faith crumble before him.
“Is there really no hope for us?”
another member said in a low voice, his face etched with pain and confusion.
His vacant gaze was fixed on Chu He, nailed in the void, his heart a silent wasteland.
Outside the Border City, the crowds of refugees were a sea of wailing.
The slender man watched as Chu He was nailed in the void, and the last glimmer of hope in his eyes died out.
His legs gave out, and he collapsed to the ground, endlessly murmuring, “It’s over… It’s all over…”
His voice was filled with a despair that sounded as if the end of the world had come.
Chu He was nailed in the void, blood dripping continuously from his limbs.
But miraculously, wherever his blood fell, crimson lotus flowers bloomed.
These lotuses were dazzlingly vibrant, emitting a mystical aura, as if attesting to Chu He’s unyielding will.
However, the Light God was not finished. He began to exert his immense power to extract the Dragon Vein of the Great Xia Empire, attempting to refine it into a Divine Crown.
As the Dragon Vein was extracted, the lands of the Great Xia Empire began to violently collapse. Mountains trembled, rivers ran dry, and countless homes were instantly destroyed as the cries of the people rose and fell in waves.
Chu He’s Life Force was also being tyrannically drained by the Light God. His hair rapidly turned gray, the marks of age appeared on his face, and his skin grew coarse and cracked.
But his eyes remained resolute, without a trace of fear.
The Light God gazed down upon Chu He, his eyes filled with arrogance and contempt, and asked coldly, “Are you afraid? Do you have any regrets? I gave you a choice before, but you wouldn’t listen. The gap between Deities and men is simply too vast. No matter how high it flies, an insect is still an insect. It can never become a true dragon.”
Chu He raised his head. Though his body was weak, his gaze was as firm as iron as he stared directly at the Light God. “The wheat has ripened five thousand times, and the cry of ‘Long live the Human Race’ will soon be heard a second time.
The Human Race will never yield!
Many years ago, a great man once said, ‘Long live the Human Race. After endless wandering, a sudden turn back, forever in the Mortal World.’
Who would dare forget?
Today, I will follow the example of our predecessors and remake the Mortal World!
With this three-foot blade, I’ll follow my will, break through the Celestial Palace, and slay the tyrannical dragon!”
His voice was firm and powerful, filled with an unbending will to fight.
Every word was like a heavy hammer, smashing against the Light God’s arrogance.
