Chapter 265: Decisive Battle for Uzu VII

The Taikyoku Rasenhou tore through the earth, erasing rock and tree, reducing them to nothing with irresistible might.

By the time Shiki finally stopped, a brand new enormous smoking ravine had been carved into the Land of Uzu. 

‘You’ve got be be fucking kidding me . . .’ The boy trailed off in his thoughts.

At the bottom of the ravine, one knee driven into the ground, the Raikage still had his right arm raised in Shiki’s direction.

Most importantly, all of his fingers but the index were curled.

The Third Raikage’s “Strongest Spear”, the One Fingered Hell Stab, the man had switched to it at the last moment.

His momentum had already been killed but he was still pushed backwards but his focused spear of black lightning still pierced through the Taikyoku Rasenhou, diverting enough of its power that his signature Lightning Armor managed to block the rest.

‘Not all of it though.’ Shiki observed.

With the powers of insight granted by his Ryugan: Zenchi, which surpassed even the Byakugan in that regard, the boy could see things clearly.

Although the Raikage seemed to have suffered only a couple of superficial wounds as the Taikyoku Rasenhou stripped his Lightning Cloak, the internal damage was far worse.

However . . .

The savage grin on the Kumo shinobi’s face only got wider.

Even as blood leaked from the corners of his mouth and stained his teeth red, it all only made him look more powerful and intimidating.

Once again, resolve settled in Shiki’s mind.

‘I’ll wear myself out before I can put him down, I have to escape’

While the Third Raikage and Shiki glared at each other in anticipation for their next clash, a pair of interloopers, the men originally fighting the boy, suddenly struck from the side.

The Third Mizukage spat out another massive volume of water that Hozuki Shingetsu promptly added his chakra to and shaped into a massive, super powered version of the standard Water Prison jutsu.

However briefly they could hold the boy’s giant werewolf form, it was enough for the Raikage to strike him down.

Under normal circumstances, Ay Senior would have been pissed at such interference but this was war.

The man did not hesitate to re-activate his Black Lightning Chakra Mode and launch himself at the immobilized Shiki.

And this time, the “Strongest Spear”, the One Fingered Hell Stab, was loaded up from the get go.

‘Do you idiots really think I couldn’t perceive and dodge such a slow water jutsu in my current empowered state?’ The boy internally mocked.

He could not fight back, nor could he create an opening to run. The rest of the Kumo forces were about to get in range, he had to break out immediately!

So he let himself get trapped and used the enemy’s jutsu as cover for his next move.

From the outside, it only looked like the massive werewolf was trying to emit yet another swirling storm of chakra from his boy.

‘You won’t get away in time brat!’ X2

Was probably what his foolish opponents were thinking.

The water prison easily gave way to the Raikage as Shingetsu, who was fused with the water, suffered from electrocution just to keep it going.

The Hozuki Hydrification Jutsu always was weak to Lightning Release.

Meanwhile, Shiki had just finished covering the werewolf’s massive body into a hyperdense storm of chakra.

That’s right.

Emitting a chakra storm would have taken too long but if the boy literally burned away the entirety of his transformation body, not only would the build up of energy be skipped entirely, the intensity of the storm would be far greater.

But even then, if he simply let the storm blast out, he would certainly escape from his enemies’ coordinated attack but he would still be stuck in battle with them, only without his transformation to even the odds.

No, he needed an exit right then and there.

Under the widened gaze of his three foes, the great chakra storm conversed and condensed.

Swirling, violent currents of solid chakra spiraled around Shiki, now human form, obscuring his features.

The blueish black chakra of Roen made the boy’s silhouette feel demonic.

It was not an actual voice, it was the sound of the rampaging energy tearing through the water of the prison and carving out a bubble of empty space around the boy.

But then, the roar grew more and more beastly as the chakra began assuming a more coherent shape.

It was not the howling roar of a wolf, fitting for Shiki’s previous form.

No, it was far more regal and majestic but also fearsome.

A solid construct formed from the violently swirling currents of hyperdense bluish black chakra.

‘Flash of The Soaring Heavenly Dragon’

That’s right, the mightiest of Shiki’s nintaijutsu, inspired by the peerless Night Guy that almost killed Six Paths Madara, greatly refined since the last time the boy had used it on Ay Junior.

Now it was time for Ay Senior to taste the improvements.

With just the propelling form of his own chakra, Shiki rocketed towards the approaching Raikage.

The boy’s mighty kick drove the chakra dragon towards the honed “Strongest Spear” that was the One Fingered Hell Stab.

Ever confident in his offensive and defensive power, the Third Raikage did not hesitate to go for the direct clash.

The lance of black lightning clashed with the fangs of the flying dragon.

And much to the surprise of Ay Senior, both sides stalled.

The dragon failed to overcome the momentum of the Raikage’s mighty charge while the man’s spear failed to pierce through the construct, creating a brief stalemate.

“Raaaaahhhh!” Shiki let out an uncharacteristic roar, pushing his chakra output beyond the limit.

The boy’s feeble mortal body began to break down from the sheer amount of energy being formed through it but the empowered dragon began pushing the Third Raikage.

Naturally, Ay Senior was not going to let himself be shown up by a child in a frontal clash of power and will.

Letting out a violent roar of his own, the One Fingered Hell Stab was refined with more and more chakra, growing stronger and sharper., so much so that it began chipping the chakra construct of swirling chakra surrounding Shiki.

The Great Water Prison had already collapsed.

The Third Raikage’s rising lightning output had knocked Shingetsu out and the clash was too violent and dangerous for the Mizukage to risk interfering.

Even the approaching Kumo forces slowed down.

At that precise moment, it was a pure one on one clash that mesmerized all those watching.

It seemed like it would go on forever.

But in reality, it was but a fleeting moment, one about to reach its inevitable conclusion.

The “Strongest Spear” of black lightning broke through.

It tore a hole into the dragon of swirling chakra currents and eviscerated the boy’s leg.

However, it was not strong enough to disperse the whole construct.

The Soaring Heavenly Dragon smashed into the Third Raikage’s body and violently shattered the man’s Lightning Armor.

As the propelling force of his chakra carried him forward, Shiki was blasting his way through Ay Senior but as a result the Kumo Shinobi’s Hell Stab had ran up the boy’s leg and was now tearing into his torso . . .
