Chapter 264: Decisive Battle for Uzu VI

The Third Raikage was currently leering at the transformed Shiki in his massive werewolf form like a pervert would leer if the world’s number one beauty started a striptease show in front of him.

‘A being nearly as powerful as a Tailed Beast, capable of creating a tenth JInchuriki. This could alter the world’s balance of power. If Kumo can recover the Two Tails and obtain this creature, with three Jinchuriki under our command . . .

As soon as that old woman from Konoha dies and the Nine Tails passes onto a youngling that will remain incapable of harnessing its power for years, we can make a play to unseat Konoha as the most powerful Hidden Village.’ The burly Kage was already filled with delusions.

He was not entirely foolishCapturing Shiki right now would be great for negotiations but keeping him would be nearly impossible if they wanted to see their own Tailed Beasts back.

But they knew the boy was a shinobi of Konoha.

Even if they could not keep him right now, they would undoubtedly clash with him as the war continues.

‘Considering the brat’s grudge with our people, he might even operate within our zone of the battlefield.’ The Third Raikage’s head was already filling up with unrealistic plans Shiki could dismiss as retarded delusions of grandeur.

That said, being a bit delusional did not diminish the current physical threat posed by Kumo’s Kage, widely considered the strongest among his peers all the way to the end of the original series.

‘He does not seem interested in chatting.’ Shiki evaluated after the Raikage paused upon taking his arm off.

The brief period of inaction was sufficient to regenerate his entire lost arm despite his new size making regeneration considerably slower as there was a whole lot more to recover.

The boy of course noticed the greed and ambition in the man’s eyes.

Worse, the man represented a horrible match up.

Shiki was confident he could pressure and perhaps even force a retreat out of the Mizukage and Kazekage with his Howling Wolf Possession.

The boy already had an infinite chakra battery in the Nirvana Seal, he was only limited by his body’s output and after transforming into his massive werewolf form, this output was massively amplified.

He even had the confidence to stalemate the Third Hokage, at least temporarily.

Although after getting schooled on the battlefield, Shiki started to believe he might have seriously underestimated Hiruzen, letting the Naruto Series color his views on the matter too much.

All this to say, he had the confidence to temporarily face the Hokage who was currently widely considered the strongest of the Five Kage but the Raikage was just too much of a bad match up.

A shinobi excelling at single combat with extremely high speed, stamina, durability and attack power.

Compared to other Kage, his ability to cause large scale damage was actually significantly inferior but he was tough enough to ignore scattered area of effect attacks, fast enough to dodge focused strikes and powerful enough to rip through any defense using his own focused attacks.

Shiki wanted to plan an escape but the Raikage had already gone through the considerations that gave him pause.

And so, with a flash of black lightning.

Before the boy could even react, a massive hole was torn through his chest and the Third Raikage used his entire body as a piercing projectile.

‘I can see him move but my body is not fast enough to react.’ Shiki thought as the hole in his chest closed until no trace of damage could be seen.

That was enough to raise the Raikage’s brow and invoke some caution, not nearly enough to make the man stop attacking though.

The boy raised his chakra output to the limit and covered himself completely in a swirling storm of chakra so dense that his actual form could no longer be accurately perceived.

Swiping with both his claws in a wide circle, he unleashed a massive area of effect attack.

No matter how fast he was, there was simply nowhere to dodge.

The Third Raikage was blasted away with earth shattering force, carving a trench in the rocky terrain using his own body.

However . . .

The Kumo shinobi rose from the crater Shiki put him in, a savage grin on his face and not a scratch on his body.

‘Fuck! If not for the fact my werewolf body is so big he cannot damage me enough to kill in a single blow . . .’ The boy could feel it, if not for his current form, he would have no way to survive if the other party wanted him dead.

‘I’m just as fast as my normal form, if not more since even a small movement can cover a wide range but that’s still not enough.’ His thoughts rapidly turned.

Shiki could not maintain the chakra storm for long.

He had the energy for it but even his transformed body would be quickly worn down by that kind of output in a way a life energy infusion from the Nirvana Seal could not instantly fix.

But the Raikage had no plans to give the boy time to think.

He leapt into action once more with a Four Fingered Hell Stab and Shiki could only flare the chakra storm wildly.

And much to the Kumo Kage’s shock, his momentum was actually slowed.

In that instant, a large shadow covered the man’s body.

As he turned to look, he managed to catch sight of a colossal, furry, clawed hand bearing down on him.

*SMASH*

With shattering might, Shiki slammed the enemy into the ground, the chakra storm violently grinding away at the Black Lightning Armor protecting them.

But it was to no avail.

With a heaven shaking blast of thunder and a flash of pitch black lightning, the werewolf’s massive clawed hand was torn to shreds as the figure once pinned by it leapt at the creature.

The Raikage’s Four Fingered Hell Stab had now become a Three Fingered one.

‘He’s coming at my head!’ Shiki perceived with alarm.

This was an attack that could actually kill him if it connected and he was not fast enough to dodge.

With a savage roar, the massive werewolf opened its mouth and the swirling chakra storm surrounding its entire body began coalescing into a violently unstable sphere in between the beast’s jaws.

‘Taikyoku Rasenhou’

Not the melee Rasengan, not the long ranged projectile Rasendan but a mid range option.

One where the Rasengan was compressed to its utter limit and then unleashed in a directional blast, much like how the Eight Tails transformed Killer Bee used his Tailed Beast Bomb on Suigetsu’s Tate Eboshi giant water monster.

Not to mention, this was the much more powerful and violent Taikyoku Rasengan, a supersized one to match his current form at that.

The rushing flash of black lightning vanished, swallowed by the world shaking blast as bluish black light blinded every spectator of the fight, close by and far way.

The Taikyoku Rasenhou tore through the earth, erasing rock and tree, reducing them to nothing with irresistible might.

By the time Shiki finally stopped, a brand new enormous smoking ravine had been carved into the Land of Uzu.
