My Weekly Refreshing Mentor Spirit
Chapter 827 - 464: If It Were Xue Dili, He Would Definitely Do This (Part 2)
It’s been three thousand years since these Greek Old Dengs were shocked.
Or maybe in this era, there are too many temptations and desires, so the CCB thing isn’t much of an allure to those Old Dengs who have nothing to do but CCB back in Ancient Greece.
The Moon God continued to lead Xue Dili to their new home.
Along the way, Xue Dili saw many bizarre creatures.
There were dinosaurs like strange-teethed dragons, amphibious salamanders as large as cows, and two-headed flying dragons, as well as creatures like turtles without shells.
Xue Dili sensed that some were magic creatures, while others were ordinary.
"What are these?" Xue Dili asked.
"Some are native creatures, and others are offspring of our folks and these natives..." the Moon God pointed to what seemed like a 30-meter-long turtle without a shell.
"That guy is the offspring of a Giant Dragon and a native creature. Who knows why even the Giant Dragons didn’t spare these local beings."
Xue Dili: "..."
He thought that if Zeus and Poseidon were still around, they probably wouldn’t spare the local creatures either.
After all, for them, reproduction is in their bones, and they can’t live without CCB.
The two crossed a sea of flowers to reach a city.
He suddenly felt like he had walked into a big mishmash of a city.
One street was in the familiar marble style of Ancient Greece, across the other side were rustic paths of tiled houses and bricks, and behind those paths were a bunch of wooden houses mixed with earthen ones.
It was like a medley of countless Earth cultures, with a street that even had Ancient Greek, Egyptian, Persian, and Ancient Dongda architecture.
Xue Dili even saw a torii gate and a dojo not far away.
What kind of cultural fusion is this?
Xue Dili silently complained to himself. He hadn’t seen such wonders on Earth but found them here, 4.5 light-years away on Proxima Centauri.
It’s not just cultural fusion; along the way, Xue Dili saw all sorts of spectacles.
Girls with fox ears, Dragon-men with horns, and Sub-humans that seemed to have matured into something other than native species. As he walked by, Xue Dili even saw a human with a dog’s head wearing armor and wielding an axe.
"Wow, a desert kobold!" Xue Dili exclaimed.
It was mainly because its outfit was so kobold-like, Xue Dili couldn’t help but exclaim.
Little did he know, the Kobold seemed to understand his words and sneered, "I am a guard of Osma City, a wolf-headed Ascender. Who dares to use the derogatory term ’dog head’ to refer to us!"
Xue Dili: "..."
Oops, caught talking behind their back by the person in question.
They apparently really could hear Xue Dili’s words and even understood the derogatory meaning behind them.
"Alright, I am one of the Twelve Gods of Greece, the Moon Goddess Artemis, and now with a distinguished guest present, I must report to the Divine King and the other gods!" the Moon God immediately provided a way out for Xue Dili.
She had no idea how the battle was going while she was away for this half a day. If the battle had collapsed, then Xue Dili would need to rush to the battlefield instead of lingering here with this kobold guard.
Upon learning the Moon God’s identity, the guard seemed terribly nervous and bowed.
Despite how strange this scene was before Xue Dili, because the Kobold looked more Egyptian but was bowing to a Greek God.
Xue Dili even saw, not far away, a man resembling an Eastern Fox People holding the hand of a dark-skinned, coolly-dressed Egyptian beauty.
This place is truly a hodgepodge...
No time to deal with this dog head... oh, jackal-headed guard, the Moon God quickly took Xue Dili to the center of this city named Osma, which was where the gods met.
Xue Dili was very curious about the layout of Proxima Centauri.
This place really seemed like a hodgepodge where Egyptian Kobolds could acknowledge Eastern Fox People as kin, and Eastern people could openly marry outsiders.
So, Xue Dili casually asked the Moon God about the layout on the way.
It wasn’t quite as optimistic as Xue Dili imagined. The Divine Era creatures did indeed settle on this planet, and because most had drifted through the cosmos or lived under others on different planets, the mutual slaughter and rigid conservatism they had on Earth had mostly disappeared when they got here.
After all, compared to aliens, they truly were fellows, so many things became less conservative.
No more like intermarriage among races, and much more frequent cultural exchange between each other.
Now all the Greek gods drink tea, and those Eastern gods play Ancient Greek flutes.
As for the current layout, Proxima Centauri is now divided into several regions, including Xumi East, Olympia, Katerina, and Asgard, among others.
The one Xue Dili was most concerned about was Xumi East; it’s said that the ones primarily living there are Divine Era creatures from Tokyo University, like the Fox People he saw, Dragon-men, and some other races called "Celestial People." They’re said to all come from Xumi East.
Xue Dili suddenly felt curious about that place.
Who are these Eastern Divine Era creatures here? Would he get to meet those names familiar to him?
Yellow Emperor? Flame Emperor? Shennong? Yao, Shun, and Yu? Would these people be here?
No, no, by the end of the Divine Era, these pioneers were already gone; by then, it should have been the middle of the Zhou Dynasty, close to the Spring and Autumn period. By then, those Tokyo University magical creatures should have long changed generations.
And the mid-Zhou Dynasty Divine Era creatures, to be honest, Xue Dili really couldn’t recall any.
This era was a knowledge gap for Xue Dili. He only knew that starting from early Zhou Dynasty, the Divine Era slowly faded away, while the end of the Shang was the most prosperous period for Tokyo University’s Divine Era.
Just don’t know if he could see Jiang Ziya.
Curious, Xue Dili continued to inquire.
But upon hearing about the high-level of Xumi East, Xue Dili was instead filled with question marks.
"As I know, Xumi East itself is quite chaotic now, with an eight-headed monster snake called Xiangliu, and a group of leaders headed by Buddha ’Uparuddha,’ the Fox People’s leader is from the Tushan family, and the Dragon Race leader is from the Ao family. As for the Celestial People’s side, I’m not sure, but it seems like the Tushan family is also managing them."
This sentence left Xue Dili stunned.
What’s Uparuddha? What’s the Tushan family and Ao family?
Why are these completely unfamiliar to Xue Dili?
What about Jiang Ziya? And those familiar faces from the Zhou Dynasty?
Xue Dili asked this question.
"Jiang Ziya? The Ji family? These I don’t know. Maybe they’re not in Eden, or they could be living on other planets, or perhaps they were gone before the end of the Divine Era." the Moon God explained.
Xue Dili suddenly turned from curious to dejected.
Unexpectedly, none of the Eastern deities in Eden were familiar faces.
Xue Dili had never heard of Uparuddha, but he was a bit interested in the Tushan and Ao families and whatever "Celestial People" there were.
Xue Dili continued to ask.
And the Moon God didn’t hold back, saying directly: "The Celestial People are said to be descendants of a union between the Tushan family and former leaders of the Human Race. After arriving here, in order to distinguish themselves, they were called Celestial People."
"Right, the Tushan family often says there are descendants of theirs on Earth, only they lost their Spiritual Power and became merely the descendants of mortals..." the Moon God seemed to recall something.
"Descendants of Tushan and the Yellow Emperor?" Xue Dili asked back.
"Yeah, seems to be the case. I don’t know more details, but regarding Osma City, it is situated at the intersection of various regions, used for communication and blending. If you’re curious about Xumi East, after solving the Swarm issue, I can take you to Xumi East. I know its leader, Tushan Xue." the Moon God said, finally bringing Xue Dili to a magnificent Divine Era.
