My Ultimate Sign-in System Made Me Invincible

Chapter 613: Revelations

Chapter 613: Revelations

The world held its breath and counted down to the exact second, every major countdown page open on billions of devices — families packed into living rooms, students abandoning lectures, office workers pulling up LucidNet beside their spreadsheets, airports full of travelers standing still beside forgotten luggage.

Everyone was waiting to find out if the person Bloomberg had named was really the man behind Nova Technologies.

At the exact moment the timer hit zero, Nova Technologies posted the link and billions of hands moved at once.

The feed opened on a familiar figure. The same sleek black exosuit, the dark visor, the same silhouette that had flown through open space, touched an asteroid and had manually done a slingshot around Saturn with his hand, and brain.

He looked directly into the camera.

"Hi, everyone. I’m the CEO of Nova Technologies," he said in the same modulated voice from before.

*SHOW YOUR FACE*

*seven months and still the mask i cant do this*

*IS THIS LIAM SCOTT*

*BLOOMBERG WAS ABOUT YOU WASN’T IT*

*I have been awake since midnight for this*

*take it off take it off take it off*

*Percocet. Molly percocet. Mask off! FUCKING MASK OFF!!!*

*THE WHOLE WORLD IS WATCHING JUST SHOW US*

*i’m literally shaking*

Liam read the flood of comments and smiled beneath the visor.

"It seems I didn’t do it properly the first time. Let me introduce myself once more," he said, as the faceplate began to dematerialize, dissolving into microscopic particles that retracted inwardly on itself, the black surface clearing from the edges inward until his face and head was fully visible.

It looked young, composed and entirely unbothered.

"My name is Liam Scott and I’m the CEO, owner, and founder of Nova Technologies."

For nearly two full seconds the comments slowed. Then it detonated.

*LIAM SCOTT*

*HE’S EIGHTEEN*

*BLOOMBERG WAS RIGHT IT WAS ALWAYS HIM*

*he looks so normal. he looks like somebody’s classmate. he owns the moon.*

*I just screamed and my roommate ran in*

*the second richest person on earth is a TEENAGER*

*no documented wealth origin. no known company. and here he is.*

*I knew it. the timeline. I knew it. But how is it possible? How was he able to do it? We need answers!*

*he said it so casually. my name is Liam Scott. like he wasn’t about to break the internet.*

*I need to lie down*

His face was fully visible. A second later, the rest of the exosuit followed, the entire surface dissolving simultaneously, drawing backward off his body and contracting inward, until it settled onto his wrist as a slim ordinary-looking digital watch, similar to a G-shock.

The camera held on it for a moment and it looked completely unremarkable. No one would believe that this ordinary watch had been one of the most advanced piece of technology humanity has ever seen.

*WHERE DID IT GO*

*THE WHOLE SUIT JUST BECAME A WATCH*

*conservation of mass has left the chat*

*I’m a materials engineer. I have a masters degree. I have no explanation for what I just watched.*

*rewind it. REWIND IT.*

*it didn’t fold. it didn’t compress. it dissolved and went into his wrist.*

*I don’t care what it costs I need that watch*

*the pentagons around the world is having a very bad morning right now*

*he’s standing there in a t-shirt like he didn’t just do that*

*the casualness. every single time. the casualness. From the announcement to everything*

"I saw that after information about my wealth went public yesterday, everyone became curious about me. Now you know who I am," Liam said, clasping his hands behind his back. "There are two reasons I called you here today. The first is to take you all on a tour of Nova Technologies’ industrial hub."

The camera panned slowly around him. The image widened and people leaned toward their screens instinctively.

The space was vast in a way that took a moment to register. Towers of infrastructure rose at heights that had no business existing indoors, massive transport drones moving in silent formation overhead, construction happening simultaneously across multiple locations driven by swarms of smaller drones working in coordination so precise it looked choreographed.

The audience’ eyes searched for a far wall and kept finding more distance. And there was no visible ceiling.

*where is this*

*IS THIS THE MOON*

*that building is taller than anything I’ve ever seen*

*how many drones are there*

*THERE IS NO CEILING*

*I can’t find the ceiling*

*they built ALL of this*

*This is bigger than my entire city*

*how many people work here*

*are those all drones?? every single one??*

"The industrial hub has three main sections — manufacturing, assembly, and research," Liam said. "Where I’m currently standing is the warehouse. This is where finished products are stored before transportation to Lunar Base Sanctuary."

He lifted off the ground, with no visible mechanism of any kind between his feet and the floor. He rose, leveled out, and crossed the warehouse in seconds.

The massive doors ahead sensed his approach and parted. He flew through and they closed behind him. He landed inside the manufacturing section.

*HE’S FLYING*

*no suit. regular clothes. FLYING.*

*okay the suit flying made sense but the suit is a watch now there is NOTHING*

*look at how smooth that is. no wobble. no effort. like breathing.*

*I keep trying to find something holding him up and there’s nothing there*

*I give up trying to understand anything about this man*

*someone call a physicist*

*every physicist is already here and none of us have anything*

"I know many of you are wondering if I can actually fly. The answer is yes," Liam said, turning to face the camera with a small smile. "As for how it’s possible — it’s a family trait."

*FAMILY TRAIT*

*FAMILY TRAIT???????*

*his family can FLY*

*THERE ARE MORE OF THEM*

*bro said it’s hereditary like it’s a widow’s peak*

*I need those genes immediately*

*where is this family*

*HIS WHOLE FAMILY CAN FLY AND HE SAID IT LIKE THAT AND KEPT WALKING*

*I need him to elaborate but I know he is not going to elaborate. I know he’s not going to elaborate*

*family trait. I will be thinking about family trait for the rest of my life. Makes me feel even more that I was born into the wrong family.*

Liam naturally didn’t elaborate. He knew exactly what "family trait" implied and he wasn’t bothered by it. There was nothing anyone could confirm, and by the time this livestream was over, anyone with the idea of investigating his background was going to need considerably more than curiosity to act on it.

He walked deeper into the manufacturing section and stopped before a large structure near the center of the floor.

"This is the Molecular Assembler. It handles all primary fabrication for Nova Technologies — every Lucid device you own was built with this machine," Liam said, then looked at the camera hovering in front of his face. "Speaking of Lucid, I’m doing this entire livestream through one right now. One camera is in front of me, tidally locked to my face. The second is behind me, locked to the environment. That function will be available to users in around six months." He turned back to the machine. "The Assembler works by separating matter at the atomic and molecular level and reconstructing it into a different arrangement. Elements can be broken down and recombined into other elements." He paused. "In simpler terms, it can turn dust into gold."

The comments went quiet for one second. Then they came apart completely.

*DUST INTO GOLD*

*he said it like he was reading off a spec sheet*

*the entire mining industry just died*

*fort knox is a storage unit now*

*every central bank on earth is having a medical emergency*

*the philosopher’s stone was just a machine the whole time*

*I genuinely cannot tell if this is the best or worst day for humanity*

*material scarcity is dead. it died just now. on a tuesday.*

*he smiled when he said it. HE SMILED.*

*the audacity of this man is not of this world*

*can it make diamonds too because I have a proposal coming up and*

Liam knew exactly what announcing a machine that could rearrange matter at the atomic level would do to the world’s financial markets, mining industries, and every economist currently awake. He didn’t care.

He read the comments flooding in and smiled, then decided an announcement wasn’t enough. He would do a live demonstration.

"Lucy, could you please bring me a small ordinary rock and a short branch of a tree?" he said, addressing the air beside him.

The audience filled the comment section with confusion immediately — *who is Lucy, is someone else there, is he talking to a device* — and then the second camera tilted upward.

A figure was descending from somewhere above the manufacturing floor, a young woman in a flowing white gown dropping through the air with the same total absence of visible mechanism as Liam, unhurried, landing beside him without sound. She held out a small rock in one hand and a short branch in the other.

"Here you go, Master," Lucy said.

Liam took both items and turned to the camera. "Everyone — meet Lucy, my personal assistant and the AGI who handles the operational side of Nova Technologies, alongside Daniel Conley, the Managing Director of my family office who handles the financial side."

Lucy smiled at the camera — warm, genuine, fully human in its quality — and gave a small wave.

*AGI*

*ACTUAL AGI*

*she looks completely human*

*she called him MASTER*

*she flew down. THE AGI ALSO FLIES.*

*that smile was real. that was a real smile. from an AGI.*

*AI labs all over the world are in a corner somewhere crying. Now, they will have to defend the chip shortage*

*his whole team is one AGI and one human and they run an operation on the moon*

*she said here you go Master and handed him a rock like it was nothing*

*I need someone to check on Daniel Conley*

*imagine being the one normal person in this entire operation*

*DANIEL CONLEY WAKES UP EVERY MORNING AND GOES TO WORK FOR THIS MAN*

*Liam Scott. I was not familiar with your game*

"I’ll be in the research section if you need me, Master," Lucy said.

"Thanks, Lucy," Liam said. She nodded once, rose from the floor, and moved away into the upper section of the manufacturing hub until the camera lost her.

*she just flew away*

*Thanks Lucy he said. Thanks Lucy.*

*like she handed him a coffee*

*the most casual interaction with an AGI in human history*

*the livestream has been running for fifteen minutes and my entire understanding of reality is gone*

The livestream had indeed been running for fifteen minutes. In that time, Liam Scott had confirmed his identity as the owner of Nova Technologies, dissolved a full exosuit into a watch, flown through a warehouse without propulsion, described human flight as a family trait, introduced a functioning AGI, and announced a machine capable of rearranging matter at the atomic level.

He looked back into the hovering camera, holding the rock in one hand and the branch in the other.

"Now — I’m going to turn this ordinary rock into gold at ninety-five percent purity, and this piece of wood into a diamond with no structural difference from one formed naturally. Let’s begin," he said.
