A purple flash sped across the ruined landscape, moving so quickly that it appeared as a blur.

Thin streaks of purple lightning crackled in its wake, branching across the ground as they conducted through shattered glass, broken metal, and scattered debris.

Several pieces of rubble were lifted slightly from the ground by the passing electrical force, hovering for a brief moment before dropping back down.

Then another blur crossed the same stretch of land, but this one burned yellow.

The moment the yellow flames passed, everything around the path began to melt.

Stones softened under the intense heat, metal warped and liquefied, while flames erupted across the ruined ground.

The destruction spread across several thousand meters, leaving a vast stretch of the former province engulfed in heat and fire.

Agravain was now burning at roughly the same temperature as the surface of the Sun.

The only reason Ethan had apparently been able to survive the intense heat was the gravitation field he had generated around himself while moving.

Even then, maintaining it required constant attention, forcing him to repeatedly reinforce and adjust the gravity surrounding his body as the battle continued.

There was, however, one advantage to having endured Agravain’s flames throughout the battle.

Over the last few minutes, the system had been slowly sending Ethan notifications.

[You have gained +2% resistance to the heat of knight’s flames.]

[You have gained +2% resistance to the heat of knight’s flames.]

[You have gained +2% resistance to the heat of knight’s flames.]

The message had appeared more than three times already.

But this meant that Ethan’s Dragon Trait, Inverse, was actively responding to the flames during this battle .

Agravain’s heat was powerful enough to burn through Ethan’s body, but it wasn’t enough to kill him.

And because it failed to kill him, Inverse continued fortifying his body against it.

The more Ethan endured the heat, the more resistant he became to it.

As a result, his resistance to the heat of Agravain’s flames at their current level had already reached 12%.

Then, in the middle of the chase, Agravain suddenly swung his flaming sword.

A massive arc of flames erupted from the blade and slashed through the air, spreading to an enormous width as it raced toward Ethan ahead of him.

Thankfully, several skills were already active during the battle, including the Morgenstein family’s Danger Precognition, which Ethan had borrowed from his vampire-hybrid summon, Andrea Tudor.

So, the moment the danger appeared, Ethan’s senses reacted.

He instantly turned around and stretched both hands forward as his Aspect of Dominion activated, allowing him to manipulate the gravitational forces around the incoming attack.

The immense flaming arc suddenly bent away from its original trajectory, its path forcibly redirected toward another direction.

The attack passed Ethan and continued into the ruins below, until an entire area spanning roughly the size of a city was swallowed by the flames, the devastating arc carving through the landscape and leaving the entire region engulfed in fire.

In quick succession, Ethan followed up with another attack.

He thrust one finger toward Agravain and released a sudden repelling force that struck the Knight of the Sun head-on, sending him flying several hundred meters backward and knocking his sword off his hand.

Agravain quickly recovered, and immediately moved to pursue Ethan.

But then he felt a sudden change around himself. Without warning, a large boulder was ripped from the ground and hurtled toward him.

Agravain watched as it approached, only for the boulder to melt before it reached him.

A few more chunks of rocks and debris followed. Within moments, pieces of metal, fragments of buildings, sheets of zinc, and countless other materials began tearing themselves from the surrounding ruins and flying toward him.

Agravain had become the center of attraction.

Ethan had used his Aspect of Dominion to manipulate the direction of gravity around Agravain, forcing the surrounding environment to pull toward him.

Everything within the affected area was being drawn toward Agravain, turning the battlefield itself into a massive storm of debris — a chaotic disaster unlike anything seen before.

Everything was converging on Agravain.

Yet none of it actually reached him.

The closer the debris came, the more intense the heat surrounding his body became. Stone softened and turned molten before reaching him.

Metal liquefied in midair, pouring downward in streams of glowing material. Larger pieces continued forward only to evaporate as they entered the most intense region of heat.

Ethan and Agravain’s battle had already reached a level where their strength could be compared to that of Grade 10 demons.

With a thunderous roar, a massive wave of flames and heat erupted from Agravain, instantly engulfing every piece of debris suspended around him, turning them into dust.

The knight of the sun suddenly dived forward, his right fist drawn back with the intent to drive a punch toward Ethan at the right time.

But Ethan met him head-on, driving his own fist forward.

Their fists collided with enough force to send a violent shockwave through the surrounding air.

A second punch came from the left, but Ethan quickly raised his arm and parried it.

Agravain followed with another attack from the opposite side. Then the exchange became a flurry of blows.

The two figures flew across the battlefield, crossing from one end of the ruined province to another as their fists collided again and again.

Every impact reverberated through the air, sending shockwaves across the surroundings and causing the ground beneath them to quake.

Buildings that had somehow survived the earlier destruction were torn apart as the battle continued, while the surrounding landscape was steadily reduced to further ruin.

Ethan’s body had grown beyond seven feet tall after activating Titan Frame, a Guardian-class skill that increased his height and mass while greatly enhancing his physical strength at the cost of some speed.

Although the reduction in speed did little to hinder him.

His Danger Precognition remained active, warning him of incoming attacks before they arrived, while his lightning-fast reflexes allowed him to react almost immediately.

Combined with his enhanced physical abilities, it allowed Ethan to keep pace with Agravain and fight him directly.

Every punch Ethan threw carried additional force from his Aspect of Dominion, making each blow heavier than it would have been normally.
