Not long after, everyone asked for had gathered in the throne room, the children and the other wives were all there.

They stood or sat around the large chamber with confused and uneasy expressions, having no idea why they had been summoned so suddenly.

One of the wives then asked "Lilinlea, why did you call us all here? ... Are you trying to make our Lord displeased again?"

Lilinlea said quietly, "That is not our lord."

The room fell silent and every face turned toward her with a look of surprise.

Lilinlea looked around at all of them before continuing. "Listen to me, every one of you. I know what I’m about to say isn’t going to sound true."

"But every single one of you is under the influence of that man’s magic."

Confusion spread through the room.

"The man we believe is our husband, your father, Lord Krygon..." Lilinlea paused. "He isn’t who he claims to be."

"He is Izzgur Azazel. An imposter."

Several of them stared at her in complete disbelief, while others exchanged confused glances.

"Izzgur Azazel?"

The name itself was familiar.

The Azazel family had once been one of the most renowned clans on the Demon Continent.

Although, they had been extinct for years, but their name had never been forgotten. And Izzgur was a name many of them knew precisely because of the events that had taken place two years ago.

Two years ago, when they had gathered together to confront the person they believed to be an imposter, the original Lord Krygon; he had made the exact same accusation.

He had warned them that the real imposter was the one they were all fighting behind and had stated his name as Izzgur Azazel.

Now Lilinlea was standing before them and telling them the same thing.

One of Lord Krygon’s sons was unable to contain his anger.

He stepped forward, pointing directly at Lilinlea. "Did something come over you all of a sudden? What is this nonsense you’re spouting?"

Another wife immediately spoke up, her expression still filled with disbelief. "You’re sounding just like that lunatic from last time."

Lilinlea’s eyes moved toward her. "That’s precisely why none of you are going to believe me....Not until I do this, at least."

She lifted a small box in her hand and opened it.

She waved her hand over it and right then, several talismans rose from inside the box, each one covered in strange inscriptions and surrounded by a faint greenish glow.

They floated through the room, one after another, until a talisman stopped in front of every person gathered there.

They all stared at them in confusion.

Lilinlea then explained. "This is something I received directly from our ruler."

The moment she mentioned the Demon King, several eyes widened.

"Place it over your forehead. The spell contained within the talisman will undo the magic that has been placed on your memories. Once it does, you will remember all of it."

No one moved to immediate action at first. Despite Lilinlea’s claim that the talismans had come from the Demon King himself, they were still hesitant.

What she was asking them to do was difficult to accept. Some had doubts and were skeptical of her true intentions.

Jaenera stared at her mother for several seconds.

Lilinlea met her daughter’s eyes and gave her a nod.

Jaenera then decided to make the first move; slowly reaching forward and taking the talisman floating before her.

She hesitated for another moment before placing it over her forehead head.

The inscriptions on the talisman began to glow as the greenish aura intensified.

The spell took effect as her eyes suddenly widened.

Everyone watched her for a few seconds, noting her reaction.

Then the glow disappeared.

The talisman slipped from Jaenera’s head and fell to the floor like an ordinary piece of paper.

The inscriptions had gone dark and whatever magic had been contained within it had been completely consumed.

Jaenera’s eyes were wide with horror as she slowly raised a hand to cover her mouth.

Lilinlea then said, "Do you see now, my child?"

But Jaenera was too stunned to speak.

Her mother then turned back toward the others. "The one we fought two years ago. The one we were told was the imposter. How is it that none of us ever questioned his existence afterward?"

"How he even suddenly came to be in the palace?"

"We just fought against him, and afterward, simply went on with our lives."

She gestured toward them. "Why?"

No one answered, so she did for them. "Because our minds were continuously being controlled."

No one was sure of what to tell her at this time, they only just listened.

"You may think I have suddenly lost my mind... But tell me this. Do you really believe it is a coincidence that I would come to you after all this time and say these things?"

One of the wives then asked, precisely Kimora’s mother. "If this is true... how then did you find out?"

She had this look of worry on her face; especially because of all the wives here, only she had gotten involved in a sexual relationship with Nathan; one that led to the result of their daughter.

Although now, even she wasn’t sure if that were true or not.

Lilinlea then turned and answered her question. "The King revealed it all to me"

She went on to explain the sequence of event that led to how the demon king had reached out to her privately, through the late watcher, Singon.

After a while of explaining, she added. "I didn’t come here because I suddenly changed my mind about our lord....I came here because I discovered the truth. And now you have the means to discover it for yourselves."

She gestured toward the remaining talismans.

"Use them. Recover your memories. Then decide for yourselves who the real Lord Krygon is."

For several moments, the family simply stared at one another.

Then, slowly, one of the male demons reached for the talisman floating before him.

"If what you are saying is true..." he muttered as he took and placed it over his forehead.

The same thing happened. The talisman glowed brightly, and his eyes widened as the spell took effect.

But what followed was not an overwhelming flood of forgotten memories. It was more like a reconstruction.

Almost everything he had known seemed to change form.

The memories he carried, especially the one involving the identity of his father and the experiences with him; were suddenly being corrected, piece by piece, as though the false version had been pulled apart and replaced with what had actually happened.

The face of the man he knew as his father changed. The image of Nathan dispersed, and began replacing with that of the original Lord Krygon.

A tall, broad-shouldered and heavily muscular demon with pale skin and enormous horns. His body was only partially clothed, and his imposing figure was completely different from the man they had spent the past two years believing was their father.
