My Three Babies Have Different Fathers
Chapter 13: that man is really our biological father?
Five years passed.
"Mommy..." Zahn Frash shouted as he ran toward Hana.
"Hmm? Are you three done playing with Grandma?" Hana asked.
"Playing? Mom, we weren’t playing—we were making money!" Sean Frash said from behind.
Kevin Frash followed Sean and placed a box filled with numerous business cards on the table.
"Mom, are you tired after working all day?" he asked.
Hana immediately bent down and gave Kevin a quick kiss on the forehead.
"Huhu... Look at my handsome second son," Hana teased. "Kevin... how can you be this handsome?" she said, pinching Kevin’s cheek affectionately.
"Mom..." Kevin replied, his voice muffled because his cheek was being pinched. "We’re already grown up! Stop treating us like babies."
Hana picked him up and carried him to sit on the sofa in the living room, followed by her other two sons.
She had finally accepted her circumstances over the past five years. She had eventually realized that she had not entered a novel, transferred her soul, or possessed someone else’s body. She had traveled through time—for two years.
Yet even now, she could never remember anything from the two years immediately after her breakup with Brandon. It was as if those memories truly did not exist.
"Mom," Zahn called, immediately tugging at Hana’s arm. "Are you spacing out again?"
Hana turned to the side and gently patted her cheek. "That’s right. Mommy was spacing out again. I was imagining what it would be like to live a rich life without having to work," Hana replied.
Sean stood up from his seat and grabbed Hana’s other arm. "Mom, you don’t have to work. Didn’t we tell you before? We have plenty of money now. We even have enough for us to live comfortably until you grow old."
"Sean... stop bragging. Don’t try to steal other people’s money again, understand? You have a mother. Even though Mommy wants to live a rich life, that doesn’t mean you have to do something bad."
Sean’s expression immediately changed, and he huffed angrily.
A year ago, Sean, Hana’s eldest son, had brought a suitcase full of money to her. Hana had been scared out of her wits and immediately taken the suitcase to the police station.
At that time, she received news that the Mayor of Karua had lost a suitcase containing his money. Since Sean was still a minor, both the police and the mayor chose to let him go.
"Enough. Sit down properly. Mommy will make some hot noodles for you," Hana said as she placed Kevin from her lap onto the sofa.
Hana turned on the television and hurried to the kitchen. Their kitchen was connected to the living room, allowing Hana to cook while watching television.
Her hands moved quickly as she added seasoning after seasoning into the pot, while her eyes occasionally glanced at the television screen.
"How can Mom believe us?" Sean shouted with an annoyed expression. "That damn mayor even claimed our money was his."
"I’m going back to Grandma’s house. I’ll use my computer to infiltrate the mayor’s wireless network. That should make him believe us, right?" Kevin, Hana’s second son, shouted.
Zahn grabbed Kevin’s arm to stop his older brother from leaving immediately. "You forgot? We have to eat dinner with Mom. Besides, Grandma Jexy said your hacking skills still leave traces. You can’t do this. Do you want Mom to be chased by the mayor’s people?"
Kevin dropped himself onto the sofa with a sulky expression. "But I’m angry!"
Zahn, who was the calmest of the two brothers, immediately stood up, opened the refrigerator in the kitchen, took out three bottles of tonic, and gave two of them to his brothers. "Drink this. It’s useful for improving your emotional intelligence."
"You made another strange potion? Didn’t Grandma Jezy already forbid you from making tonics again?" Sean exclaimed.
Zahn shrugged. "I reduced the dosage this time. There won’t be any problems."
Sean’s eyes glinted for a moment. "Let’s work together again. I’ll sell the tonic you made, and I’ll give you one-third of the profits."
Zahn’s eyes lit up. "Okay, let’s do it. I need more money to make more potions, too."
Kevin snorted as he watched his little brother become so easily fooled by Sean.
No one knew that Hana’s three sons had already become billionaires, each possessing a secret bank account that even the entire Melvin Continent was unable to detect.
For the past five years, the three of them had been seriously trained by the middle-aged women who lived across from Hana’s rented room.
Jezy trained Hana’s youngest son, Zahn, to become a doctor with highly advanced medical skills.
Jesy trained Sean, Hana’s eldest son, in business, giving him abilities that could bring the entire Karua region to its knees. He already owned fifteen percent of the shares in every major company spread throughout Melvin Continent. Some of them were companies owned by Brandon, Hana’s former lover.
Meanwhile, Jexy trained Kevin, Hana’s second son, to become a skilled hacker in the field of technology. Although his abilities were still below Jexy’s, if his identity were discovered by outsiders, everyone would kneel while hiding their communication devices.
Kevin stared at Hana, who was busy cooking in the kitchen, then at the television playing in front of him. His brows remained deeply furrowed.
He knew that Brandon had once been Hana’s boyfriend. He did not know what had caused Hana to end up in this city seven years ago.
Even their grandmothers had worked together to uncover Hana’s past, but so far, they had found nothing.
Her past had been erased. Even the news about her parents after they were involved in an accident in Melvin City was nowhere to be found.
Kevin clenched his fists tightly. His two brothers noticed the change in his expression and stopped their conversation.
"Is there something bothering you again, Kevin?" Sean asked.
Kevin remained silent for a moment. He looked at his two brothers one after another before finally opening his mouth.
"Do you think... that man is really our biological father?"
