My Super Sassy Dad: Stop Running Away, Mrs. Quinn!
Chapter 994 - 997: You Go Take a Shower First
So, Selina Sloan didn’t die; she didn’t die, she just hid.
Selina Sloan dared not linger at all along the way; she hurriedly ran across the street and hadn’t yet found a place to hide when a woman stopped her.
She turned around and saw the face she hated to the core!
"Selina Sloan," Hana murmured as she turned around, uttering her name, "Unexpectedly, I see you here. So you didn’t die back then?"
"Hana, do you think you would be safe and sound if I had died these years? Even as a vengeful ghost, I would strangle you!"
"Ha, it really is you. I wondered why Elias Hale has been acting so strangely lately, like he’s on the brink of death—turns out it was because of you, Selina Sloan. I must say, your charm has truly grown over the years. As soon as you appear, he transforms into someone unrecognizable!"
"I don’t have time to waste on you!" Selina Sloan turned to leave, only to be blocked by several bodyguards.
"Selina Sloan, do you think I would let you go? Is that possible? Since we’ve met again after so many years, come with me to my place for a cup of tea. Take her away!"
"Yes."
"Hana, I won’t let you go, absolutely not!"
"Well, we’ll see if you have the ability!" Hana sneered coldly and headed towards the place where Elias Hale was.
"Brother, are you okay? Your clothes are soaked, shall I take you back to the hotel?" Hana held an umbrella above Elias Hale’s head.
"No need, I’m fine!" Elias Hale remained caught up in the recent situation; Selina Sloan wasn’t dead—she’s indeed alive.
She’s back!
But why hasn’t she come to see him all these years?
No, no, as long as she’s alive, nothing else matters, he won’t blame her for anything, as long as she’s living well.
Elias Hale kicked the nearby guardrail, his heart aflame and uncontrollable.
Unknowingly, he walked back to the hotel, with Hana following him inside.
"You should go back. I want to be alone for a while," Elias Hale said.
After he spoke, there was no movement behind him. Elias Hale turned around and noticed Hana’s dress, already soaked through; her dress was a sheer fabric and light in color, yet she was wearing black underwear underneath, allowing glimpses of delicate white skin, captivating and enticing.
Elias Hale looked away.
"Brother, my clothes are all wet, and it’s pouring outside. Can I find some clothes to change into first?" Hana softly asked.
"I don’t have any women’s clothes here, you can take a shower first, I’ll have someone buy you an outfit and send it up!"
"Thank you, Brother," Hana said, pulling open the bathroom door, "Brother, you should change too, don’t catch a cold later."
"Okay."
Hana took off her clothes, standing naked before the large glass mirror, examining her body; although she’s thinner, she won’t miss having womanly curves where she should.
Stepping into the bathtub, she washed her body, and ten minutes later, she emerged from the bedroom with only a towel wrapped around her; Elias Hale had already had a set of clothes bought and brought up.
"Put them on, hurry back and get some rest!"
Not even Elias Hale’s gaze lingered on her at all.
"Brother, I feel a bit uncomfortable, probably because I got wet in the rain, my head feels heavy; I really want to rest for a while," Hana lay down on Elias Hale’s big bed, her contoured skin tightly pressed beneath the towel, it’s enough to stir any man’s thoughts.
