Chapter 1106: Chapter 619: Alice Wants to Learn Dueling
"Why are you standing at the door and not going in?"
When Shen Sui finished tidying up the car and arrived at the door of the room left for Alice, he found her standing there with a mournful expression.
"Qishala kicked me out," Alice lamented.
Shen Sui asked in confusion, "What did you do?"
"I just wanted to put some of my spoils in there," Alice puffed her cheeks and replied, looking just like a high school girl who had just argued with her mom.
Shen Sui laughed, "It’s your room, you can put whatever you want in it."
"Does this mean I can hang the magical girl outfits I seized on the wall?" Alice’s eyes brightened.
Shen Sui’s steps halted in mid-air, "What did you say?"
"Magical girl outfits."
"Are they the kind I’m imagining?" Shen Sui took a cool breath, "They must be proper, right?"
"I haven’t taken out the improper ones," Alice scratched her cheek.
Dang it, you really have improper ones, huh!
"Wait..." Shen Sui hesitated for a while, then cautiously spoke, "Why do you have such... strange things?"
He cautiously observed Alice, silently making judgments—could this girl have some psychological issues?
Alice quizzically asked, "Isn’t it normal to keep some trophies after winning a duel?"
"But it’s not necessary..."
"I can’t exactly take someone’s magic staff," Alice pouted in an attempt to justify her behavior, "Plus, it’s only the spoils from the Magical Girl World that are a bit strange; trophies from other worlds are perfectly normal!"
"Oh? What did you bring back from the Shipgirl World?"
"A booklet drawn by Deep Sea North Residence"
"...And you call that normal!" Shen Sui was speechless.
Alice coughed a couple of times, "Other than those two worlds, yeah, other than those two worlds."
Shen Sui no longer trusted Alice, "What about the Dragon Princess World? You should’ve only fought Dragon Beasts there."
"Yes, yes, the trophies from that world are normal," Alice sighed in relief, finally having one world with trophies to prove her normalcy.
As she said this, Alice took out... two heads from her ring.
"..."
Staring at the two Dragon Beast heads, Shen Sui fell into complete silence.
Due to the attributes of the space ring, these two Dragon Beast heads were still in the freshly severed state, with wounds still oozing blood.
"I think... these aren’t quite suitable for the room," Shen Sui advised gently.
"Oh..." Alice glanced at the heads in her hand and seemed to understand Shen Sui’s point, "Are you saying they’ll come back to life?"
Like hell that’s the concern! A girl’s room with two heads inside is a bit too creepy!
Shen Sui covered his face and said, "Let Qishala help you decorate the room."
He completely lost faith in Alice’s aesthetic sense.
"Can’t I really put trophies in my room?" Alice asked somewhat despondently.
Looking at the disappointed girl, Shen Sui finally softened, "Put one that’s normal."
"Normal?" Alice blinked and tried to recall.
"The most normal among all your collections!" Shen Sui emphasized once more.
Alice seemed to think of something and clapped her hands, then...
"Then I’ll put her in my room!"
Alice held up the loli in her hand and said to Shen Sui.
"Hey... put me down," Mitole said, utterly resigned.
Taking a look at Alice and then at the white-haired loli she was holding up, Shen Sui finally couldn’t hold back, "This is what you call normal? Wait, is this what you call a trophy?"
Alice shook the Mitole in her hand, "Doesn’t she count as my trophy?"
Mitole reiterated with a dejected tone, "Hey, put me down; I should be placed in the hall, not held in your hand."
Wait, at what point did you accept the fact that you’re a decorative piece, Mitole! You’re the Dragon God, have some dignity!
Shen Sui sighed. In a sense, Mitole really does count as Alice’s trophy.
"She’s more dangerous; better not," but considering Mitole’s exploits, Shen Sui thought letting two equally dangerous individuals stay in one room would absolutely be a catastrophic move.
After quite some effort, Alice finally found a piece she could display as a decoration.
"Whose main cannon is this?" Shen Sui asked, eyeing the main cannon placed by the bedside acting as a nightstand.
It didn’t seem like a 381.
"Lexington sister’s," Alice curiously examined her room.
This was the first room she truly had in her life.
Before meeting Shen Sui, she lived in a thatched cottage. And after becoming stronger, those residences never felt like her home to Alice.
The never-before-felt warmth made Alice’s head spin.
Maybe this is what happiness feels like.
Alice has never had such a strong sense of belonging. With this sense of belonging, Alice had completely fallen in love with this world.
"Huh? Does Lexington have main cannons?" Shen Sui mused while stroking his chin.
Alice helped Qishala tidy up the room and turned back to say, "She said it was left from a long time ago; since she couldn’t use it, she gave it to me."
"I see..." Shen Sui retracted his gaze.
Qishala’s aesthetics still hit the mark. At least under her arrangement, Alice’s room now had some semblance of order.
The room wasn’t very big, and Alice didn’t plan to have Qishala expand the room using space magic. For her first home, Alice preferred its original appearance.
