Chapter 190: Yet Another Daughter-in-Law

"You bastards are finally starting to move after so many years of silence. My lord is quite interested... and wants to work together."

"What did you just say, you motherfucker?!"

The entire chamber trembled violently under the force of his killing intent.

"Calm down... and listen carefully before you start raging," the voice from the communication stone said.

"I can guarantee you won’t say no to this."

Nova, Nyxara, and Velena landed quietly. Nova had already informed everyone to gather at the dinner table. Theodore could not be present, as he was currently attending a meeting at the royal castle.

The three of them entered the hall.

Everyone was already present — Asia, Rieka, and Nova’s parents, who had only returned a few minutes earlier from a short outing.

Jenna was especially excited. She still found it hard to believe that not long ago she had worried about whether her son would even find a suitable wife... and now he was bringing home one remarkable woman after another.

What made it even more surprising was that every single one of them was a top-tier beauty.

At the moment, both Nyxara and Velena were not wearing their veils. The moment they stepped into the hall, the atmosphere shifted. Asia, Rieka, Edward, and Jenna all froze for a brief moment. They had never seen women this striking before.

Although Asia and Velena’s beauty were on a similar level, every woman carried her own unique charm. When beauty reached such heights, it became difficult to simply compare them.

Velena’s presence was enchanting — even without using any of her half-succubus charm abilities. Nyxara’s beauty, however, felt almost dreamlike, the kind that made it hard to look away.

Nova had already asked both of them to restrain their natural allure as much as possible, but even then, it was not entirely enough.

He quickly broke the silence before the situation grew more awkward — especially for Edward. As a man, it was only natural for him to feel a brief, complicated emotion upon seeing such breathtaking women standing in front of his son.

Nova began the introductions.

"Mother, Father... you’ve already met Velena before, though she was wearing a veil at the time. You should still recognize her."

Everyone nodded.

Rieka, who was already a beauty capable of drawing attention wherever she went, found it difficult to believe that women of this level truly existed.

What unsettled her even more was the faint, instinctive pressure she felt from the red-haired woman. She immediately realized that this must be the Nyxara Nova had spoken about.

Asia was thinking the same thing.

Nova continued calmly.

"And this... is Nyxara. The Demon Princess... and also my wife."

Even though they had already heard about her, seeing the legendary figure in person still left them stunned. Her beauty was overwhelming, and her strength was clearly far beyond anything they could comprehend.

Jenna, who had been eager to warmly welcome another daughter-in-law, couldn’t help but feel a little nervous in front of her.

Nova turned toward Nyxara and gestured to his parents.

"Nyxara, this beautiful lady is my mother... and the tall mascular man beside her is my father."

Nyxara looked at the two of them. After learning they were Nova’s parents, she felt a strange, unexplainable emotion. Looking closer, she could clearly see traces of both of them in Nova’s features — especially his mother’s.

Nova then gestured toward Rieka and Asia, a faint drop of sweat forming on his forehead.

"And these two are also my lovely wives."

Rieka and Asia greeted her politely. There was still a trace of tension in their expressions, but neither of them wanted to appear weak.

As his first and second wives, they naturally wished to stand on equal ground with her.

Nyxara simply nodded in return.

Although a faint sense of jealousy still lingered in her heart, she had already accepted the situation. As long as she could remain by the side of the man she loved, she was willing to share him.

She then turned her gaze toward Jenna and stepped forward.

Jenna’s body stiffened slightly. Edward instinctively took a small step back under the invisible pressure, but Jenna herself did not move.

As the mother-in-law, she refused to appear weak — even in front of a mighty Demon Princess whose beauty was almost goddess-like.

Nyxara stopped in front of her and met her gaze directly.

"You are my husband’s mother, correct?"

"Y-Yes," Jenna answered.

Nova watched curiously, unsure of what she intended to do. Nyxara continued in a calm voice.

"Then from now on, I will also call you Mother."

Everyone in the hall looked stunned for a moment. Velena could only shake her head lightly at her princess’s bluntness. In just a few words, she had managed to startle the entire room.

Jenna quickly recovered and replied with a warm smile.

"Of course. You are my son’s wife... so it’s only natural."

Nyxara then looked toward Rieka and Asia and gave them a small smile. Both women were caught slightly off guard. This woman was clearly not ordinary in the slightest.

Unlike them — who still called Jenna "Aunt" out of habit, since they had not yet gone through a formal marriage — Nyxara had already claimed her position without hesitation.

Nova simply smiled at the scene.

Velena stepped closer to him and spoke softly. "Lord Nova... you really have changed my princess."

Nova’s smile grew warmer.

Asia then stepped forward and spoke gracefully.

"Alright, everyone. Since Father is not present, it is my responsibility to act as a proper host. Dinner is ready... so please, let us enjoy it together."

They all sat down at the long dinner table.

Nyxara took the seat on Nova’s left, while Velena sat on his right. Rieka and Asia willingly let her sit beside him.

Not long ago she had been upset, and Nova had only just managed to reconcile with her. Besides, both of them were still deeply grateful to her for bringing Nova back safely from the Abyss.

The maids soon began serving the food.

Elegant dishes were placed one after another across the table — perfectly roasted meats glazed with rich sauces, fresh seasonal vegetables arranged with care, crisp salads dressed in light aromatic oils, and several bottles of fine wine worthy of a duke’s household. The entire spread looked refined and carefully prepared.

As everyone began eating, Nyxara turned to Nova and asked casually,

"Who was the man you were fighting earlier? I sensed that he was a dragon."

The moment the word "dragon" left her lips, everyone’s attention immediately focused on Nova. Concern appeared on their faces. Dragons rarely appeared on the continents of other races, and any involvement with them was never simple.

Nova took a sip of wine before answering calmly.

"Yes... he was a dragon. And he belonged to a criminal, psychopathic organization known as the Eclipse Order."

"What?!"

Shocked voices rose from nearly everyone at the table.

Although the Eclipse Order had remained quiet for many years, it was still one of the most infamous groups in the world. Knowledge about them was considered basic for anyone of status, which was why the sudden mention of their name caused such a strong reaction.

Velena looked at Nova with clear surprise.

"Lord Nova... did you really encounter a dragon from the Eclipse Order?"

Nyxara answered before he could.

"He did. And that dragon was at the Emperor Realm."

Everyone’s eyes widened, including Velena’s. They already knew Nova was strong, but hearing that he had fought and killed an Emperor Realm dragon still left them stunned.

Velena, however, quickly calmed herself as she recalled the fierce battle Nova had once fought against Vex.

Ignoring their reactions for the moment, Nova turned toward Velena.

"Tell me more about the Eclipse Order."

Since he had be

en forced to finish the earlier fight in a hurry, he hadn’t been able to extract the dragon’s memories before killing him. He needed proper information.
