Chapter 1592: Chapter 1591: Getting Closer…

“This is honestly everything I could have wanted… I just never really knew I wanted it this badly, y’know?”

Anput was lounging beside me again, her scantily clad body on full display beneath the warm light from the sun, while I was a bit more modestly dressed if only because I knew that going around without anything covering my midriff would only invite a pack of ravenous ’beasts’ to descend upon me more frequently.

The sundress I was in right now barely helped anyways, but that was entirely by design since I was craving this as much as they were, something that was a rather open ’secret’ around here since I always told them off whenever they ’went too far’.

Both of us were lounging on those nice comfortable chairs that Jahi had bought for us, and right now we were simply watching the clouds overhead as the sun began to reach its pinnacle, both of us lazing about whilst Jahi and Leone did real work.

Right now Leone was tending to the greenhouse that just so happened to be in view of where we were sitting, and Jahi was hunched over a table nearby going over various reports and other official paperwork that was seemingly neverending.

“You never thought about what would happen when you inevitably got impregnated by Jahi..? Yes it’s actually Leone’s baby, but you knew back then that you were marrying Jahi, who was undoubtedly going to be the one getting you pregnant and never the other way around.”

My mate chuckled and stretched before she reached for her glass of ’wine’ as she said “Yeah well… I was always more so thinking about what kind of monsters we were going to fight, if we would go to war against some other country, or just what sort of things I needed to do as her wife, y’know?”

“One of those things being…”

I just gestured loosely at her somewhat curved belly, earning another chuckle as she nodded in agreement and replied “One of those things being giving birth to her babies, yes. I just… didn’t really give it much thought. Never really knew what to expect, and now I sort of do…”

We both looked towards Jahi before turning back to watch Leone as she continued to take care of the various herbs that she needed, her own sundress complimenting her figure quite nicely whilst that wide brimmed hat she wore suited her so very well.

She looked every bit the hot, capable gardener that she was, and the Vampire knew it too since she always glanced back at us whilst biting her lip, entirely aware of our gazes and enjoying every single second of it.

“And I have to say I am sort of intrigued now by what actually happened, y’know? What sort of hybrid baby am I about to pop out because Leone ’tried’ harder~?”

Jahi definitely heard that, yet the Demoness just glanced up at Anput for a moment before returning to her paperwork, something that the Jackalkin found amusing as she flashed a grin at me, though before she could further tease our wife I asked her something else.

“You aren’t worried? I mean, a Vampire mixing with a Caninekin sounds… well, I suppose it sounds not that odd of a mixture, but still, after everything that happened with my Mother?”

“Yeah, I am a tad concerned that I might start hurting like crazy because Leone’s seed is so strong or whatever, but at the same time I have also seen just how adorable and incredible Alessandra and Lakshmi are, so I think it’d be a worthy tradeoff. What about you, hm~?”

She reached over and patted my stomach a few times before smirking as she added “Feeling concerned since I have some strong seed too~? Five~ adorable and perfect little pups, coming out soon~!”, causing me to roll my eyes even as I stroked the spots that she had touched.

“Not… terribly concerned. Yes I am definitely nervous about it, and yes I have to admit that I think five is going to be more than just a handful, but also… well…”

That made my mate’s grin widen as she leaned closer, her eyes slowly raking over my body as she burned this image into her head forever, though after a moment of that she looked me in the eye and said “You’re as overjoyed as I am about it being five~!”, to which I nodded with a small smile.

“I am. Our own little litter of pups, so early on… Since Jahi is going to undoubtedly refuse your suggestion of knocking me up twice in a row, having five pups with you now and not knowing when I’ll be pregnant again… it’s reassuring, knowing that I’ll have this many babies to spoil here and now.”

“You really think she’ll say no?”

“Undoubtedly. Me being pregnant with your pups and you being pregnant with Leone’s baby just means she’s been ’left behind’, and the likelihood of Leone getting pregnant is far slimmer than whatever chance it was that you and I both got pregnant at the same time.”

Anput pursed her lips at that before shrugging and stretching herself out again, though this time she rolled onto her side so that she could stare at me instead of Leone, the reason of which was rather obvious as she brushed her panties aside.

“Really, Anput..?”

I just closed my eyes and continued to lay flat on my back, not looking at her now that she was enjoying this a whole lot more, and when I felt her reach over to pull my dress down a little I just sighed and helped her by sliding the straps aside.

“If our pups have even a smidgen of your spontaneous decisions to seek thrills then I have to admit I am very worried… and if their hunger comes to match yours…”

That just drew a chuckle from my mate as she gave my chest a squeeze before she moved to kneel beside me, resting her ear against my stomach and murmuring “Then that would just mean they are lively, wonderful pups… and maybe they’ll have some of your dedication and drive to temper them out a little~! Make themselves fine little warriors just like us~!”
