Chapter 205: Everyone Has Systems

"Ugh, why is this happening to me?! I just got a chance to become stronger, but now I am not even getting quests? What could the quest even be?!"

Andrea whined, pulling her hair in frustration as she glanced at the three other awakened people apart from herself.

"You all get similar quests stuff too, right? What can my quest even be?" She asked with a sigh, acting like a responsible mature person that knew how to research the topics beforehand to ensure the best results.

She looked around the messy bed with an innocent, troubled expression, putting on an academy-award-winning act of an eager student trying to study for a test.

Internally, though, Andrea was holding her breath, waiting to see who would take the bait and help her lay the groundwork for her real mission.

Jenny didn’t find anything wrong with her question at least. Though, there was another problem.

Jenny knew that the normal awakeners like Max, Ash, Jacob and all don’t get any ’quests’ per se.

Even Jenny started getting her quests after she sucked Fredrinn off and somehow got chosen by the awakener system.

Regular Awakeners simply received stat increments, basic skill unlocks, and combat evolutions based on killing monsters and absorbing ambient mana.

They didn’t have detailed mission prompts dictating their next moves.

But then again, to confirm her doubts, she had to play along with Andrea’s words right now...

"My quest was well..." Jenny giggled playfully while glancing at Fredrinn, "To learn how to absorb mana."

"Ah, no wonder you asked me about it out of nowhere..." Fredrinn pretended to be surprised, though he already knew about it.

He had literally been the one to grant it through the Lust system’s thrall-bonding mechanics, but he wasn’t about to blow his own cover.

Continuing to pretend, his eyes widened, "But wait... If that’s the case... You have a system too?!"

Jenny puffed her bare, gorgeous chest proudly, her breasts swaying with movement as a cocky smirk appeared on her lips. She tossed her golden-blonde hair over her shoulder, relishing the look of surprise on his face.

"Yep... It’s called the Awakener’s System, I will tell you about it later." She smiled, before turning to the ash skinned, seductive succubus that was perched on Fredrinn’s back, "For now, how about you tell us about yours, Rose?"

Rose gazed at both the girls, clicking her tongue in her mind as she wondered if she should just say she doesn’t have one and get it over with.

She had always viewed human affairs with a touch of condescending detachment, and sharing personal divine blessings with these two little mortals felt slightly beneath her ancient dignity.

But when her eyes fell on Fredrinn’s curious gaze, all those thoughts vanished. His dark eyes were fixed on her with absolute interest, practically begging for her to indulge him.

With a proud and overbearingly arrogant smirk, she scoffed at both the women and casually stated, "My system’s the Best Wife System."

Jenny and Andrea both paused, their smiles freezing for a moment before their lips twitched.

The entire suite went dead quiet for three long seconds.

Just from Rose’s tone, they realized what sort of system hers was... And quite frankly, both of them felt pissed about it.

No wonder Rose always referred to Fredrinn as hubby... In her eyes, after possessing the wife system, he was her legal husband.

Certificates and ceremonies weren’t worth jackshit to her. She had a cosmic, supernatural system declaring her the ultimate spouse, giving her divine authority to treat every other woman in his bed as an inferior mistress!

"Wow... You both had systems too?" Fredrinn was awed, his lips parted as he glanced at the two girls with a twitching eyelid.

He was always curious if his girls would reveal their systems to him, but he hadn’t expected the truth to come out like this. It was almost hilarious watching the secret finally spill out into the open under the guise of helping Andrea figure out her interface.

However, Jenny didn’t appreciate his accusing tone in the slightest.

She narrowed her gaze and scoffed lightly, "Mister, don’t act so innocent. I have something to discuss with you, but let’s do it after dealing with Andrea’s dilemma."

Fredrinn coughed and nodded, realizing that maybe his girls were catching onto the fact that he had something to do with the systems.

After all Rose, Jenny and then Andrea, all of them managed to get the systems just some time after getting intimate with him?

Once can be coincidence, twice can be stroke of massive luck but thrice?

Nah.

Even a dense person would start connecting the dots. He was the common denominator, the magical catalyst that transformed ordinary women into unique system-wielders the moment they shared his sheets.

Thus, he swiftly decided to change the topic and refocused onto the plump beauty that was staring at the blank air with a frustrated expression.

"Rose, you didn’t tell us about how you completed your quest." He asked with a smile.

"Mm, Rose’s quest was simple." Rose shrugged, "She only needed to keep her calm and have a chat with hubby."

"Keep your calm, huh?" Jenny mumbled from the side, "I doubt that would have been simple for you..."

Rose’s head snapped towards Jenny, who shut her mouth instantly.

A flash of pink mana flared in Rose’s pupils, reminding the blonde beauty that while they shared the same bed, one of them could still turn the other into mincemeat if provoked too far.

Before more catfights could break out, Andrea sighed and brought everyone’s attentions back to the topic at hand.

She leaned back against Fredrinn’s chest, tapping her chin with a calculated, contemplative pout.

"I see, so as much as I can see, your quests are quite geared towards the name of your systems. Like Rose had to chat like a good wife, Jenny had to learn something awakeners need...

So for the quest, I might need to bully Fredrinn?"
