My Reconstruction Talent is too OP!!!
Chapter 225: Wrong -
Sorry!!
***
The hunt continued for several more hours.
Kaiser and Ripple moved through one Orc group after another, gradually clearing the Frostland Orc territory. The stronger Orcs provided more resistance, but none of them posed a serious threat to the pair.
During this time, Kaiser continued experimenting with Minor Vibration Manipulation, while Ripple practised controlling his golden spears.
At the same time, the number of Wisdom Points Kaiser obtained kept increasing.
He regularly invested them into the Art of Balance, using every available point to improve his comprehension.
However, after another series of battles, Kaiser noticed something unusual as he felt his combat power suddenly dramatically raised.
"It seems I reached some kind of milestone in the Art of Balance" He mumbled calling his system to check his progress.
[Comprehension of the Art of Balance: 0.1%]
Kaiser paused for a moment.
’Finally, I’ve reached 0.1%.’
He had spent quite some time hunting Frostland Orcs to reach this point. Although the Wisdom Points had made the process much easier than ordinary cultivation, the amount required was still considerable.
He opened the detailed information about the Art of Balance and examined the requirements for further comprehension.
His expression slowly changed.
’Wait...’
Previously, a single Wisdom Point had been enough to increase his comprehension of it by a noticeable amount. However, the Art of Balance was a Transcendent Art, and its difficulty was on an entirely different level.
[Current Comprehension: 0.1%]
[Wisdom Points required for the next 0.1% comprehension: 1,000]
Kaiser stared at the notification for a few seconds.
’Hmm... It seems the requirement has increased considerably.’
He had expected the amount of Wisdom Points needed to rise as his comprehension improved, but he hadn’t expected it to reach a thousand points for every additional 0.1%.
He rubbed his forehead.
’At this rate, the Wisdom Points I obtain from hunting won’t be enough to make much progress before we leave this place.’
Although the Frostland Orc territory contained a considerable number of monsters, there was still a limit to how many he could hunt in a single trip.
Kaiser considered his options for a moment before shifting his attention to another section of the system interface.
The Supreme Rule of Shattered Soul.
’Since the Art of Balance has become so expensive to comprehend, I might as well use my Wisdom Points on the Supreme Rule of Shattered Soul for now.’
Unlike the Art of Balance, the Supreme Rule of Shattered Soul was something he had already begun comprehending.
He had previously reached 3% comprehension, and he had been gradually improving his understanding through practice.
More importantly, its comprehension requirements were considerably lower.
According to the system, a single Wisdom Point was enough to increase his comprehension by 0.1%.
That was a huge difference compared to the thousand points required for the Art of Balance.
Kaiser sighed.
’Well, I suppose I’ll focus on this for now.’
He stopped investing Wisdom Points into the Art of Balance and shifted his attention towards the Supreme Rule of Shattered Soul.
[Wisdom Points detected.]
[Would you like to use Wisdom Points to increase your comprehension of the Supreme Rule of Shattered Soul?]
’Yes.’
[Wisdom Points consumed: 1]
[Comprehension of the Supreme Rule of Shattered Soul has increased.]
[Current Comprehension: 3.1%]
Kaiser examined the notification.
’One point for 0.1%... That’s much better.’
He immediately invested the remaining Wisdom Points he had accumulated.
One after another, the notifications appeared before his eyes.
[Wisdom Points consumed.]
[Comprehension of the Supreme Rule of Shattered Soul has increased.]
[Current Comprehension: 3.2%]
[Wisdom Points consumed.]
[Comprehension of the Supreme Rule of Shattered Soul has increased.]
[Current Comprehension: 3.3%]
The process continued until Kaiser had used all the Wisdom Points he had available.
When the final notification disappeared, he checked his updated comprehension.
A faint smile appeared on his face.
’This is much easier.’
Unlike the Art of Balance, which required an enormous amount of Wisdom Points for even a small increase, the Supreme Rule of Shattered Soul progressed much faster.
Of course, he knew that this wouldn’t necessarily remain the case forever. The requirements could increase as his comprehension grew, but for now, it was an excellent opportunity.
He closed the system interface and looked at his hand.
A faint energy gathered around his fingers.
It was related to the Supreme Rule of Shattered Soul, but he could already feel that his understanding of its principles had become slightly clearer.
The Rule contained two major aspects: Shatter and Soul.
The Shatter aspect allowed him to break apart the structure of his targets, while the Soul aspect gave him the ability to affect the soul itself.
Although his comprehension was still relatively low, every improvement helped him understand the relationship between these two aspects more clearly.
’If I can improve my comprehension further, I’ll be able to use the Rule much more effectively.’
Kaiser had previously relied heavily on his undead army during battles. However, the academy’s Rule training had made him realise the importance of developing his own combat abilities.
He didn’t want to become someone who depended entirely on his summons.
His undead army was certainly one of his greatest advantages, but having the ability to fight powerful enemies himself was equally important.
And the Supreme Rule of Shattered Soul was one of the best ways to achieve that.
"Father, what are you looking at?"
Ripple’s voice interrupted his thoughts.
The Golden Fate Goblin King floated beside him, looking curiously at Kaiser’s hand.
"Nothing. I was just checking something."
Kaiser lowered his hand and looked towards the deeper passage.
"Have you found any more Orcs?"
Ripple immediately looked ahead.
"Yes! There are many of them further inside."
"Good. Let’s continue."
Ripple nodded enthusiastically.
"Let’s go!"
The two resumed their hunt.
Kaiser no longer worried too much about the increasing requirements of the Art of Balance. He would return to it once he had accumulated enough Wisdom Points.
For now, he would focus on improving his Supreme Rule of Shattered Soul.
After all, even a small increase in Rule comprehension could make a considerable difference in battle.
And with an entire territory filled with Frostland Orcs waiting ahead, Kaiser had plenty of opportunities to put his growing strength to the test.
