My Reconstruction Talent is too OP!!!
Chapter 224: Wisdom Hunt II
The hunt continued as Kaiser and Ripple moved deeper into the Frostland Orc territory.
Groups of Orcs appeared at regular intervals, and neither of them showed any intention of slowing down.
Ripple continued using Fate King’s Arsenal to summon golden spears, which rained down upon the Orcs and pierced through their defences. Meanwhile, Kaiser experimented with his Minor Vibration Manipulation, gradually discovering new ways to use the ability.
Interestingly, Kaiser never stopped Ripple from killing monsters.
Since Ripple was his Soul Bond, their connection allowed him to benefit from certain passive abilities and effects. This meant that even when Ripple killed monsters, Kaiser could still obtain the Wisdom Points through Wisdom Devourer.
There was no reason for him to restrict Ripple’s participation.
In fact, having Ripple fight alongside him made the entire hunt considerably more efficient.
As they continued moving through the territory, Kaiser also began exploring the other applications of Minor Vibration Manipulation.
Initially, he had focused primarily on accelerating vibrations to generate heat and release concentrated beams of energy.
However, after experimenting for some time, he realised that the ability wasn’t limited to increasing the intensity of vibrations.
He could also do the exact opposite.
’If I can accelerate vibrations, then I should be able to slow them down as well.’
Kaiser raised his hand and focused on a nearby patch of broken ground.
He began manipulating the vibrations of the surrounding matter, gradually reducing their intensity.
The temperature in the targeted area immediately started dropping.
A thin layer of frost spread across the ground before rapidly thickening into solid ice.
Kaiser looked at the result with interest.
’So I can manipulate temperature by controlling the vibrations of matter.’
He extended his hand further and continued reducing the vibrations in the surrounding area.
A thick layer of ice rapidly formed along the cave floor, spreading several metres in every direction.
However, after examining it more carefully, Kaiser noticed something unusual.
The ice he had created was fundamentally different from ordinary ice.
It wasn’t formed through conventional frost manipulation or by gathering water and freezing it using elemental energy.
Instead, it was created by directly manipulating the vibrations of matter according to the underlying laws of the world.
In other words, it was closer to an artificially induced state of stillness.
’This should be considerably stronger than ordinary ice.’
He wasn’t entirely certain about its full properties yet, but he could already tell that its structure was different from the ice created by conventional abilities.
’Interesting. I should experiment with this more.’
Before he could continue, several Frostland Orcs emerged from a nearby passage.
They immediately noticed the two intruders and charged towards them.
Ripple grinned.
"Father, I’ll take care of these!"
He raised both hands, and dozens of golden spears appeared around him.
"Fate King’s Arsenal!"
The spears shot forward simultaneously, piercing through the approaching Orcs and killing several of them in an instant.
’Is it his favorite skill or what?’ Kaiser wondered seem him use the same skill again and again when he have more but didn’t interfere.
Instead, he focused on another application of his ability.
’Let’s try something else.’
He shifted his attention towards the air surrounding the remaining Orcs.
Everything around him was composed of matter, and matter was constantly vibrating at different frequencies.
If he could manipulate those vibrations, he should theoretically be able to influence the movement of the surrounding medium as well.
Kaiser gathered the vibrations in a small section of the air and began increasing their intensity.
The surrounding air started trembling.
A moment later, the vibrations spread outward in a concentrated wave.
BOOM!
A powerful shockwave erupted.
The remaining Orcs were thrown backwards as the force struck their massive bodies. One crashed into the cave wall, while another lost its balance and fell heavily onto the ground.
Kaiser raised his eyebrows.
’As I expected. Shockwaves are essentially the result of disturbances travelling through a medium. By controlling the intensity and propagation of vibrations, I can produce them directly.’
He looked at his hand thoughtfully.
Until now, he had only considered Minor Vibration Manipulation as an ability that could generate heat or damage targets through concentrated energy.
However, its applications were much broader than that.
He could accelerate vibrations to generate heat, reduce them to create extremely cold regions, and manipulate their propagation to produce powerful shockwaves.
There were probably even more applications waiting to be discovered.
’This ability is much more versatile than I initially thought.’
He couldn’t help feeling satisfied.
Meanwhile, Ripple had already finished dealing with the remaining Orcs.
He floated back towards Kaiser with a cheerful expression.
"Father, I finished them!"
Kaiser nodded.
"Good work."
Ripple smiled proudly before looking towards the deeper passage.
"There seem to be more of them over there."
"Then let’s go."
The two continued their hunt.
As time passed, Kaiser gradually became more proficient at manipulating vibrations. He experimented with different frequencies, intensities, and ranges, slowly improving his control over the ability.
However, there was something else that occupied most of his attention.
The Art of Balance.
Ever since he had started hunting, he had been using almost every Wisdom Point he obtained to improve his comprehension of the Art.
At first, the progress had been rather slow.
But as the number of monsters he killed increased, the Wisdom Points accumulated at a considerable rate.
Every time a group of Frostland Orcs was eliminated, Wisdom Devourer extracted points from their souls, allowing him to invest more into the Art of Balance.
The process was straightforward.
The more monsters he hunted, the more Wisdom Points he obtained. The more Wisdom Points he invested, the greater his comprehension became.
And unlike ordinary comprehension, which could take years or even centuries of dedicated study, Kaiser could directly accelerate his progress through the Wisdom Points.
According to the system, one Wisdom Point represented an increase of 0.0001% in comprehension.
Although that might seem insignificant, it was still a direct increase in his understanding of a Transcendent Art.
Even a small improvement could make a noticeable difference in his control over its underlying principles.
Kaiser wasn’t about to waste such an opportunity.
As another group of Frostland Orcs fell, several notifications appeared before his eyes.
[Wisdom Devourer has been activated.]
[Extracting Wisdom Points from the targets’ souls...]
[Extraction complete.]
[Host has gained 18 Wisdom Points.]
Kaiser glanced at the notifications.
’Another eighteen points.’
He immediately directed them towards the Art of Balance.
[Wisdom Points consumed: 18]
[Comprehension of the Art of Balance has increased.]
[Current Comprehension: 0.0124% → 0.0142%]
Kaiser examined the notification.
Although the displayed percentage was still incredibly low, he could already feel a slight difference in his understanding.
The principles behind the Art of Balance were gradually becoming clearer.
He could perceive certain connections that had previously escaped his attention, and his understanding of the relationship between opposing forces had improved slightly.
’This is working.’
A faint smile appeared on his face.
The Art of Balance was a Transcendent Art, and comprehending it through ordinary means would have been an extremely difficult task.
Even thousands of years might not be enough for an ordinary cultivator to make meaningful progress.
Yet he was steadily advancing through the Wisdom Points obtained from monsters.
And considering the number of Frostland Orcs living throughout this territory, he had no shortage of potential sources.
’If a single Orc horde can provide this many points, I wonder how much I’ll obtain after clearing the entire Dungeon.’
Kaiser looked towards the deeper passages of the cave.
His expression became increasingly satisfied.
"Lets go we have to kill more" Kaiser said as Ripple nodded enthusticaly like an child he is.....excep he is nodding so that he can murder.
