My Martial Spirit is Nanobot

Chapter 429 Monstrous

  • Next Chapter

In the cold, silent parts of an unknown universe, hidden within the spiral arms of a quiet galaxy, a star system spun. It was not special or unusual. In the third orbit of this system, a massive world once known as Earth drifted through space. For countless years, it had been a place built on silicon and steel. It was a civilization that measured its progress through electricity and fuel, completely empty of magic, mystery, or myth. It was a planet with a story written in the predictable, ordinary flow of daily life.

Then, everything changed suddenly.

It happened in one impossible heartbeat. Across the entire globe... from the crowded cities to the silent poles... the air itself began to crack. Countless portals, like jagged tears in the fabric of space and time, appeared like open wounds in the sky. They did not lead to the stars, but to realms where the impossible became real.

The gates were now open.

As these gateways settled, a new, unstable energy... a strange mixture of power that did not belong in this solar system... began to leak into the atmosphere. It filled the clouds, soaked into the ground, and settled deep into the bones of every human. Then, the awakening began. Men and women who had been ordinary became vessels for something unknown. They rose as Pioneers, as Source Walkers, and as Origin Seekers. Each of them awakened unique, reality-shattering talents that went against everything their former science had taught them.

The struggle that followed was immediate and brutal. A desperate, worldwide race began: to conquer the civilizations waiting on the other side of the portals, to grab the Source points, and to claim the Origin energy that was now driving the rise of a new elite class.

Yet, the planet itself was the most terrifying participant in this change. Empowered by the flow of energy from thousands of connected realms, Earth began to grow. Its massive plates groaned under the weight of this unnatural expansion, its size increased, and its geography twisted as if the world were gorging itself on the energy of a thousand captured dimensions.

The age of technology had officially ended. The age of the Origin had begun.

...

"Somewhere in the unknown void,

"Where am I? Is this... Origin Space?"

The voice, deep and full of questions, hung in the absolute silence. Lin Lee snapped his eyes open. His pupils shrank as they adjusted to the sterile, blinding light of the environment around him. It was a perfect, plain cube... a precise space of six square meters that ignored gravity and air. The stark white walls seemed to vibrate with a low, humming sound that he could feel against his own skin.

"This really is my Origin Space," he muttered. The initial confusion vanished, replaced at once by the cold, clear thinking that had served him so well in his past life. A flicker of confusion crossed his face as he realized his Yuan Ying cultivation was gone. His body felt heavy, limited by the basic physical laws of his previous life.

"A total reset of my physical form... the memories from Luo were correct. Everything I gained in that minor realm is now turned into points, leaving only the mark on my soul."

He muttered and stood up, his movements smooth and exact, and brought his left hand up in front of his face. There, etched into his skin as if by a law of the universe, was the Four-Square Crest. It was pulsing with a bright, intense orange light... Tier 4.

"Anyway, because of my strength achievement, I got a tier 4 mark right from the start," Lin Lee said playfully, a thin, hungry smile touching his lips. He flexed his fingers, feeling the strange, tethered power of the mark. It felt like a sleeping volcano, ready to explode at his command.

He closed his eyes for a moment, letting the flood of information he had taken from Luo’s memories organize itself. The hierarchy of this "Main World" was rigid, harsh, and color-coded. It was a system that gave a value to a human life based on how much of the Origin they could channel.

Tier 1: Yellow.

Tier 2: Green.

Tier 3: Blue.

Tier 4: Orange.

Tier 5: Red.

Tier 6: Purple.

It was a ladder of power that the entire human race was desperately climbing. The information was clear up to Tier 6, but beyond that, the data in Luo’s mind became broken, dissolving into rumors and fearful whispers.

The strongest humans on Earth were rumored to be Tier 7, but that was where the knowledge hit a wall. There was no information, no records, and no descriptions of the Tier 7 stage in Luo’s memory.

’I wonder what a Tier 7, 8, 9, or 10 looks like. Anyway, I will find out later. But first, I have to awaken my source talent.’

Lin Lee thought to himself and then said, "Show me my origin panel." As he spoke, lines of text appeared out of the air in front of him and formed into a panel, dark and fully visible against the white background.

[ORIGIN PANEL]

Source Talent: Awaiting Initialization.

(Note: Initialize now to awaken your Source Talent.)

...

"So this is my status panel. Well, it’s not that bad." Lin Lee looked at the panel floating in front of him, the dark text standing out sharply against the infinite white. He didn’t waste time with feelings. His finger swiped to the edit button next to the name, and with a quick, firm motion, he deleted the stolen identity of ’Luo Shen.’

As he typed in ’Lin Lee,’ the air in the Origin Space seemed to ripple like water. His body, which had been locked into the appearance of the Red Sky Sect disciple, began to blur and reshape. Within seconds, the Luo mask faded away entirely, leaving behind his own sharp, familiar features... the face of a man who had already conquered one minor realm and was now hungry for a greater one.

He looked down, scanning the rest of the interface. He nodded at the Origin Space capacity... six meters was small, but it was a start... and then focused on the Origin Points.

"Four thousand four hundred points," he muttered, his eyes narrowing. The ratio was one-to-one. It was efficient; no hidden cuts, no tax on his hard-earned success. He could put these into the Main World right now to instantly copy the Tier 4 strength he had held in the Red Sky realm. It was tempting, but he had more important business to handle.

He looked at the final section, and a slow, hungry smile touched his lips. "As expected, the Origin Space is treating me like a newcomer. I have the chance to awaken my talent, or fail."

He did not have any doubts. He did not believe in failure. "Initialize the awakening," he ordered, his voice calm and clear in the white void.

The reaction was immediate. The clean walls of the Origin Space didn’t just brighten; they erupted, releasing an intense, brilliant light that was almost too much to see. It covered him, a pillar of light that passed through his skin, his bone, and his blood. For a moment, he was no longer just flesh and blood... he was a man of light, a shape of pure energy being broken down and rebuilt by the laws of this space.

The process was agonizingly fast. Then, just as quickly as it had begun, the light pulled back into the walls as if it had never been there.

Lin Lee opened his eyes with a snap, and a flash of brilliant light cut through the air. He turned his focus to the status panel, which now displayed a new header in the Source Talent section.

Source Talent: Infinite Syndicate.

(Description: Infinite clones able to share anything.)

He blinked, reading the description below it, and his face slowly twisted into something strange... a mix of disbelief and cold calculation. This talent allows the creation of infinite clones, and all clones work together as one team to share anything like gear and strength.

"This is... monstrous," Lin Lee muttered, his voice barely a whisper. The meaning hit him like a physical blow. He wouldn’t just be one man; he would be an army, a supply chain, a self-sustaining system of power.

He fell silent, his mind racing, when a sudden feeling stopped him cold. He felt a heavy, dense point of pressure in the corner of his soul... a dot of massive strength, pulsing with a rhythm that felt foreign yet deeply familiar. As he focused his mind on it, the truth became clear. It was his original body, now existing as an automated, hollow shell far outside the limits of this entire universe. The connection was linked, a sleeping power waiting for him to reclaim it.

He didn’t just have a talent; he had a bridge. And he was just getting started.
